Dr. Mechanik is dual Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, in Foot Surgery and also in Reconstructive Rearfoot/​Ankle Surgery. In addition to his 24 month surgical residency, Dr. Mechanik successfully completed 24 months of Fellowship surgical training, under the guidance of Dr. James Ghadially, an orthopedic surgeon. With his extensive training, Dr. Mechanik has been able to help countless patients, including those traveling internationally to see him. Dr. Mechanik offers his expertise services to you and welcomes you to reach out, if you have any questions or concerns.

History

Established in 2005.

Dr. Mechanik is originally from Denver, graduated from Cherry Creek High School He treats a multitude of problems: tired feet, skin disorders, sprained ankles, bone spurs, arthritis and other degenerative joint disease, heel pain, sesamoiditis (pain in the ball of the foot caused by bones being embedded into a tendon), hammertoes, gout, or foot and ankle fractures. He received extensive training in Houston and returned to Denver, to reopen his father’s practice at 1469 Holly St., His practice has grown and he relocated his office to the DTC area.

Dr. Mechanik is the podiatrist Denver calls upon to help with their foot and ankle problems. Dr. Mechanik is married and has 4 boys. He enjoys listening to music, reading, being outdoors, hiking and camping with his family. His motto has always been to treat his patients with care, like they were his family and he does.
