Pots Tea

Really enjoyed a first visit, and I’m a huge tea snob.
They have a nice selection — it’s smaller than some but quality. We enjoyed the Silver Needles (light, simple, soothing), the Buddha’s oolong (not sure that’s the name, but it’s close — deeper amber oolong, but still smooth and deep) and took some Organic Jasmine Passionfruit in bulk (that I am drinking now) that is terrific.
The owner chatted with us about the teas and helped us make a good choice.
She also makes their baked goods from scratch. The blackberry scone was great — cakey, sweet, big blackberries in it, with a mixed berry jam. Really enjoyed it.
They have limited gluten free options (cheese, fruit and cracker plate, or berries and cream) but the berries and cream was nice — simple, fresh, tasty.
Definitely worth a try!

What a nice little shop! The owner here takes great pride in her knowledge of all things tea. Ask questions without fear of looking ignorant. Coffee is also an option, so if you have a tea-​lover in your tribe, everyone can be happy. Do not miss trying one (or 2 or 3) of their freshly baked-​on-​premises scones. Probably one of the best I’ve ever eaten. They are light and fluffy, more like a biscuit.

This cute little shop has been in this shopping center about 2 years, which means I have driven past it at least 730 times before I finally stopped here this past weekend. And I’m so glad I did!
The owner was pleasant and informative; she was happy to give us an education when I explained that I know I like tea but not sure I know anything about it. We sniffed our way through her varied «testers» of loose leaf tea, and my husband and I each chose a tea for to-​go that we very much enjoyed.
The shop itself is cute with a few tables and you can even purchase tea accessories. The atmosphere is casual yet feels cozy. She also sells divine, homemade scones; probably the best scone I’ve ever eaten!
The prices are extremely reasonable for to-​go tea when comparing to coffee shops. And I don’t know about the price for loose tea as I’ve never purchased it, but she seems to take great care in the product she sells.
Definitely worth a stop. I know I’ll be back!

I took my two daughters and their friends and moms to a High Tea and we had a great time. I love the owner and she is very knowledgeable about her tea selection and gave us a nice education. The scones were to die for, and everything is homemade, including the clotted cream. I actually loved all 4 tea selections we chose and was impressed with how smooth the taste was. Will definitely come back.

Pots tea is definitely worth driving out of your way to visit. The atmosphere is unassuming and laid-​back, much like a classic coffee shop. The focus is really on the quality of tea. The owner is hands-​down a tea expert, and is happy to explain the different growing/​harvest/​processing/​drying/​brewing methods with you if you are interested. The teas all have been hand-​selected and are each unique in their own way.
If you are looking for a great tea experience, this is your place!

Not a good experience. If you are thinking about bringing a child into this place, don’t do it! Not that tea shops should be kid friendly, but the woman working there makes it clear that she can’t stand being around children and extremely unfomfortable. The tea selection was extremely limited compared to other local tea shops and not much direction was given on what to buy. It says outside seating? If you want to grab a chair and sit outside facing the gas station I guess you can do that. One more thing, seriously, 10 cents for an Andes candy at the counter, really? Would it be too much to ask for a free cheap piece of chocolate when you’re spending so much on overpriced tea? Overall, not impressed, definitely would choose another tea house to visit.

My wife and I recently tried Pots Tea and were delighted with what we found. If you’re looking for a quiet and unassuming place for some great tea, this is the spot. They are extremely knowledgable about teas and provide a great product and services. it’s a great break from Starbucks (and they have free wireless too.)
