This highly marketable occupation is becoming a desired pre-requisite for acceptance into associate or bachelor degree nursing programs, such as LPN or RN. This work would also fulfill the direct patient care hours required by other medical programs, such as radiology or medical school.
At the South Denver School of Nursing Arts, students gain preparation and experience in basic nursing assistant procedures and skills, patient care, safety and emergency care, and clinical experiences. Not only are we approved by the Colorado State Board of Nursing, our classes taught by an experienced and friendly staff of professional nurses, they also start monthly and are offered both mornings and evenings. Our program provides 104 hours of instruction including 24 hours of clinical experience and at the completion we offer an in-facility State Board Exam.
Our pass rates on the state exam for your certification (C.N.A.) are consistently the highest in the state!
