This is a great place for you to enjoy a delicious dinner! If you like to eat tasty fresh and really well made Italian food(their deserts were outstanding too) and if you enjoy being around people who feel alive and there for you in the moment, this is a genuinely warm and inviting family operated restaurant! We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience — it was a special night out.

What a Gem. Fantastic food, great service. As authentic as it get’s. The salad was crisp, the olives were fresh and tasted ‘summer’. I usually judge an itialian restaurants on their ragus, and this one had a great balance of sweet, sour, salty and bitter. Highly recommended.

Great, delicious food, wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly staff, gracious and caring owner, all in the best atmosphere. My wife and I took our son-in-law out to dinner for his birthday with our daughter and 3 grandkids. Everyone enjoyed their food and the deserts were the best. The singer had a great voice and we enjoyed it very much. We will be back soon. The owner sincerely cared that we had a wonderful experience and stopped and talked with us twice during our time at this wonderful restaurant. Great, delicious authentic Sicilian food. Thank you Aldo Campo and staff for a great time. We will be back soon!

This place is great! Everything we ordered was top notch. A lot of places claim to be authentic and fail but Taste of Sicily is legit. All of what I tasted was just like the food I had in Italy. So happy these guys are in the neighborhood. This will definitely be one of our few go-to restaurants for a date night out.

Just had a wonderful dinner with some friends at this terrific restaurant. The appetizers were delicious and quite varied, which appealed to everyone at the table. The salad was excellent — not just lettuce and tomatoes, but included olives and pine nuts, which added enormously to the taste. The wait staff were knowledgeable and described the different entrees and desserts perfectly. As everyone had a different entrée, we were able sample a few and all were quite well prepared and tasty. Desserts were amazing and varied enough that should one just want to go for dessert, they would not be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back again!

We came here on a Saturday night to try their desserts. The owner greeted u right away with a huge smile and a firm handshake. He was genuinely happy we were there. While sitting at the comfy bar and listening to a gentleman singing old blue eyes, yes they have a singer! We watched numerous dishes flying out of the kitchen while the servers and chefs spoke to each other in Italian, we wanted to try more than dessert! We didn’t, we had cannoli, tiramisu and a chocolate triple cake. All excellent! The owner Aldo, checked on us a few more times and really made us feel comfortable. We will defiantly come back and try dinner, and tell everyone to go see Aldo!

Showed up cause they showed they were open… And guess what — closed. So upset. Oh and it was 6:50 on a Sunday… not very conducive to out of towners!!! If in could, I’d give them a big zero for being lazy turds!!!

What a wonderful restaurant! I found it looking for a dinner on Unilocal while I was in town on business. I was looking for a neighborhood gem and I found it. I was greeted at the door by Lino. He was so incredibly welcoming. Had very good service, a couple cocktails and ordered the breaded chicken. It was so delicious and needed no marinara because it was so flavorful. Would go back next time I’m in town.

As an Italian and had a Grandmother and Mother who were excellent cooks. I also have numerous cousins who I have visited in Italy and experienced their excellent cuisine. I want to highly recommend Taste of Sicily, it will take you back with authentic presentations. Arancini, home made pasta with a sauce to drive you mad, Risotto, Melanzane Compo all came with a touch of excellent flavor! Enough said, if you want a true Italian dinning experience give it a try! Introduce yourself to Aldo or Angelo, meet Renatta, meet the Italian Chef’s(brush up on your Italian as most don’t speak English), but they understand«Molto Bene» or «Tanti Grazie», «Fantastico» they will understand your pleasure! We have very few family business as oppose to «Chain» restaurants we need to appreciate this one!

This is real Sicilian food. A Taste of Sicily is the best Sicilian food in the Denver region.

My girlfriend and I came across this awesome place when looking for somewhere to go for desert. It was well worth it! The deserts were all amazing! I wanted to try them all. I looked at there food menu and they have some great selections! If I hadn’t already ate dinner I would have ate there. There cooks are straight from Italy so it’s as authentic as it gets! On top of it all the staff is absolutely fantastic! Not only were the waitresses super friendly, so was the whole management team! The owners personally introduced himself and gave us his business card! I would highly recommend this restaurant over any other corporate Italian restaurant!

I am a first-generation, Italian-American, born to two Italian immigrants. Additionally, we lived in Italy for a while when I was a young teen where I attended full-time school in Abbruzzi. Needless to say, I understand quality Italian food. I’ve been lucky to have it several times in my life. Having moved to Denver from the east coast, finding quality Italian cuisine has not been easy, especially without having to go downtown! Well, I am thrilled to report, our search is finally over! Taste of Sicily is the real deal! The owner is from Sicily, most of the staff is straight from Sicily, and all the chefs are so Sicilian they don’t even speak English! The food is authentic, delicious, and mouth-watering. It melts in your mouth! From the Sicilian caponata to the handmade pasta to the seafood fare to the homemade desserts, everything is made with such care and attention to detail. The only regret you’ll have afterward is what you didn’t try! I highly recommend you try this quaint little place while it’s still new(only 3 months old) and before word gets out and prices go up! Buon Appetito!

The people that work here are passionate about their food and it shows in the quality and atmosphere. The appetizers, main coarse choices and amazing desserts are fantastic. I lived in Italy for 4 years and dining at Taste of Sicily brought me back to that amazing experience that is Italy. I was joined by my Sicilian friend and he found everything to be authentic and absolutely delightful. They even had a gentleman singing some classic Italian songs. Get in your car and make the trip. It’s worth it.

Authentic and quality dining. I really can not say enough about how well executed the food was. I have spent time in Sicily and this restaurant is doing everything right. The wine selection is nicely selected and not overwhelming, good choices and the white we chose was a great complement to the meal. Attention to details here make the food really shine. Aldo and staff are doing a great job, keep it up and don’t change!

The food alone rates five stars. It was so busy the night we were there and with friends talking, I couldn’t tell you about the staff, other than the drinks came right away. We owned an Italian restaurant and I’ve eaten in a lot of Italian restaurants — this is not at all the same — this is Sicilian. To me that means lots of seafood — and that they have! Hub is more of a seafood person but when you can make me want more rigatoni, I’m yours! That and their killer desserts. If I lived closer, I’d be in here every week. It’s got a Euro/neighborhood vibe. And the menu is varied, not the usual Mediterranean dishes so you don’t get bored. Go early and lock down a table. Wish it was warm enough to be on the patio. Next time I’ll wear a jacket.

Diamond In The Rough. The neighborhood is upper class and this restaurant although very affordable, gives off a really well done upper class vibe for a place that opened 5 days ago. Location can be challenging to find as it faces Quebec St. North of E. Arapahoe Rd. behind the Safeway. Service is exemplary! Everyone from the hostess to the owner treated us as if we were relatives that they hadn’t seen in awhile. True Sicilian atmosphere. The chef has only been in country for a couple of weeks. The food was absolutely delicious. Fresh and handmade right down to the sauce. We ordered the Ravioli and even the Parmesan cheese was shaved and plentiful. The starter bread is grill toasted with a distinct smokiness that compliments the meal. They don’t offer pizza, but that’s ok compared to how well done everything else is about them. We are glad that we found them.

Ok, it’s not entirely fair to review them just yet. They just opened. And I mean, like 48 hours ago. But, I do think it’s fair to give you some heads up on this. I work nearby and I’ve been eyeing this place with interest ever since the Creek(or whatever it was) closed. Last night I found myself with hungry kids, in a mind for pizza. I saw it was their grand opening, and there’s a lovely slice of pizza on their sign. Red sauce, crust, ingredients spread across it. Yum! Seemed like kismet! But, silly me. It’s not a slice of pizza on their sign… it’s a map of Sicily.(Which, in my ignorance, whizzing by at 40 mph on Quebec, looks like a gooey slice of pizza.) Still, Italian, kids, hungry, free valet — were committed, so let’s dig in. Second tactical error on dad’s part: «Hey…the kids can get spaghetti and meatballs, at least.» Nope. It’s truly a Sicilian menu. Meatballs aren’t Sicilian. The menu is varied, fancy, and a little challenging if you aren’t expecting it. It’s also a little heavy on seafood. Which is great for date night… a little tougher to convince a four year old that she will really love octopus. So, cultural ignoramus and failure as a father aside, let’s get to the fair parts: The décor is fun, whimsical, clean. It’s a simple, small place with bright furniture and very gracious owners and staff. They were down three staff on only their second night, so they were absolutely scrambling and overwhelmed. They don’t quite have the timing, lighting, music, or tv figured out(rugby?). But I don’t hold that against them in the least. You should know to expect that if you’re gong some place on their notte secondo. The dishes were wonderful. The kids shared a beautiful ravioli entrée. I got spaghetti with seafood — perfectly cooked and dressed with clams, mussels, calamari, and octopus. Well presented, nothing chewy, nothing off. Excellent. Deserts were sitting out on a table and looked beautiful. But we didn’t try any. Four stars is probably a little high based on our overall experience. But three is too low and would be damning them with faint praise at this point and that’s not fair either. So on quality of the food, and the earnestness of the staff effort, and graciousness of the owners, we enjoyed it — four stars. With some rough edges worked out, this will be a charming little place. I will be back.
