The reason why I am posting my reviews on contractors, electricians, etc. (see reviews on American Paintworks and Pete — The Handyman) is because I don’t believe in having to pay for a site (i.e. Angie’s List) to get information that should be available for anyone to know and see.
John, the owner of Harborfields Electrical, is very professional and friendly person who also has a great team of people working for him. In fact, he came, did the estimate, call me and a couple of weeks later one of his electricians was installing new gas and air-​conditioning timers throughout the house to save energy.
The best part, did not even have to pay right away. A few days later, he calls me to ensure that the timers and installations were working. Then he stopped by to check on things and collect payment. Very nice, trusting and cool guy.
Highly recommend Harborfields Electrical for their professionalism and friendliness.
Just a word of advice, make sure there is a mutual and clear understanding of when your appointment for work is set for. We had a couple of ‘crossed-​lines’ when deciding when to show up to do the work. At one point I was out of the country and he showed up to do the work… yikes! Anyway, just a phone call away, John gets back to you right away.
