Description

Specialties

We offer artisan baked breads, croissants, scones and much more. Everything is baked from scratch on our sight and baked fresh with only the best ingredients. When you come in for the first time we eagerly provide you an array of samples. The reason is simple: once you taste our products, you’ll come back for more. That’s what our business is predicated upon for success: loyal patronage. To achieve that we work to provide you the best quality and value in a bakery.

One of the biggest surprises since we opened last year is the success of our lunch offering. We use our own breads and Boar’s Head meat for a great combination.

History

Established in 2008.

It took a long time to get here. For the better part of 15 years friends were always tellimg me, Matt, why don’t you open your bakery. Finally I arrived at both a point and a location that dictated a commencement.

Business started slow in the midst of a terrible economy but one customer at a time and work-of-mouth referals we have been gaining a steady base of customers.

Our business does not have the easiest access at the corners of Spring Valley and 741. But once you come in the first time, we’re pretty sure we’ll see you again.

Business Owner

Primary owner and baker. I like to keep it pretty simple at the bakery — just straight forward good stuff. Real butter, eggs, milk etc… Our products aren’t hyped with a lot of noise or funny names rather its the taste that will get you and bring you back. The way I figure it, if something like a Madeline or croissant recipe has been around for over a hundred years it needn’t be messed with or made up-to-date. My own experience is that the more a bakery item is dressed up (lots of chocolate looking goop or creams or whatever), the less desirable is its taste. All the fluff is used to hide one thing: the basic product lacks quality and is not very good.

Come into our bakery. We may not offer as much breadth as some bakeries, but EVERYTHING indeed is 100% fresh baked here. The quality will be something you can taste.
