History
Established in 1991.
In 1991 after selling a small successful bar in Centreville a retired for a few months to relieve some wanderlust. During that time I went back to visit friends in the Midwest in during those wanderings. I managed to find my way to Wisconsin, home of my alumni. I found many of the things I love about the land of Cheeseheads and what makes sense and famous; bars, beer and cheese many small family owned bars/restaurants that offer a friendly (where you’re only a stranger once). An atmosphere with good simple foods something like your mother used to make. It kind of place where the bartender knows your name and ask you how you are, because they care. The replaces that you could meet friends for a meal, a drink some conversation and a laugh, a place to meet a group of bees from school, a hometown place that fits like an old pair of jeans. Meet the Business Owner
Steve B.
Business Owner
I came to Dayton in 1984 when I was working for a large hotel company I fell in love with the area and decided to go into business for myself. I purchased a floundering little bar in the middle of downtown Centreville Ohio. With the help of a great staff and wonderful customers we are able to turn to join around. After six years I was starting to get bored and had an opportunity to sell the operation it was a bittersweet event, but led to opportunities literally just down the street. I have two great kids who’ve grown up in the Centreville area and in the bar business. My roots are here in Centreville now after 24 years in this location I still enjoy coming to work every day and meeting new people.
