I have never actually been here but someone brought the caramel cake to an event and it was delicious and amazing. I can’t wait to try their other treats!

It took me a long time to order just a few items from this store. Why? Because the woman on the counter only spoke Brazilian (or was it Cape Verdean? Whatever.) I asked her questions and she kept answering me back in her language. I had to keep pointing at the things I liked. Very frustrating. She didn’t even know how to count. Gave me the wrong change!
Anyway, the store itself is small. But they have all sorts of cakes, pastries, and desserts that other Portuguese bakeries don’t have. I got the Caramel Pound Cake, a plastic tub of Condensed Milk Cookies, flavored Quiejadas, and of course, a dozen Paposecos. They were all fresh. I credit them that.

I’m a big fan of bakeries. This is a small bakery tucked away in the middle of Central Falls. I bought some dinner rolls — excellent and a few pastries — also delicious and flaky. Their Portuguese sweetbread looked great also, available in big loaves or the more individual sized buns. The selection of items was not large but what they did offer looked very appetizing. This is a very tiny place, it is very easy to miss. It is located next to an appliance store. So keep your eyes peeled.
