History

Established in 2007.

I invented Nodstop because I was unable to sleep on an airplane, hated neck pillows and I wanted to solve this problem for us all. The idea came to me on a late night flight and I went to the fabric store the next day and stitched one up by hand (I didn’t even own a sewing machine) and it worked! Nodstop was patented in 2008. Nodstop Jr. and Nodstop special needs came about because of the needs I saw for children and for the handicapped and the elderly who needed head support also for various reasons.

Jill E.

Business Owner

Jill Ehlers

Jill is the youngest of eleven children and a native Oregonian. She and Ken (a native Idahoan) have two children — Cherie, 33, and Nick, 30, and a sweet dog «Bud». Jill and Ken have been married 29 years.

In her early employment years Jill worked at Intel and other electronics manufacturers. In 1982 she obtained her real estate license and sold real estate until 1989.

In 1989 Jill and Ken moved to Ashland, OR to open a practice of optometry. She became the optician for the practice and was responsible for the management of the dispensary. At 46 years old Jill had not yet found her «Passion» in life (besides Ken) and found it when she discovered Healing Touch for Animals and began her career as an animal communicator and energy healer. To gain this training she had to travel all over the US and in the process, Nodstop was born. They say «necessity is the mother of invention» and that was very true in this case.
