The way of the samurai sword. We teach Kendo (Kumdo). We also teach a new and dynamic sword style called Siljun Dobup. It incorporates techniques used in other styles such as: Eishin Ryu, Nakamura Ryu, Toyama Ryu and more.

This sword class is super fun. You’ll get fit while making new friends and networking all while you prepare for the «zombie apocolypse»! LOL

History

Established in 2013.

After studying in the martial arts for years (I started when I was in the 6^th grade) I found that I really wanted to learn and teach the way of the sword. I ended up learning this sword style from Grandmaster Jin K. Seong of the Kendo Academy in NJ. After a number of years training under him, I finally got his approval to have my own school to spread the art of Kendo and Siljun Dobup. This is how the school came to be.

I began studying in the martial arts when I was in elementary school. I am now in my 40’s. The way of the sword has always been my attraction.

I also am a huge fan of Korean food as well as japanese sushi.
