J.Crew Factory

Bumping up another star because the staff is REALLY helpful. They had one guy relaying the needs of a multitude of customers (me included) and a few seconds later some other guy pops out of a room with the item you were hoping for. I had the feeling they actually enjoyed working there and appreciated our business. I’ll have to stop in every time I’m in the area.

I can’t visit Woodbury Commons without stopping at the J. Crew Factory Store. It’s huge! It also gets pretty messy (especially during the holidays), so put your gameface on & be prepared to sift through piles for the size you want. But let me tell you: it’s worth the work!
Because it’s a Factory Store, a lot of the clothes are different than the merchandise you would find in a normal store. On certain items (dresses, tops, skirts), the quality of the material is a little different. Not bad, just … different. Keep that in mind if you were looking for something specific you saw in-​store.
Now, as for the denim, long-​sleeved & short-​sleeved classic tees, tank tops, and graphic tees — STOCK UP! Come on, you know it’s hard to find a pair of J. Crew jeans for under $ 60. This is where that happens. And I am a huge fan of their long-​sleeved classic tees, which are pretty much the same ones you can find in normal stores, minus $ 5 – 10. They never go out of style, and are perfect for layering.
They usually have a nice selection of winter coats, accessories, bags, and shoes available as well. There is, of course, a men’s section, and even a crewcuts section, so check those out if you’re so inclined.

I’ve always found great items at the J. Crew Factory Store in the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. As it’s an outlet, I’ve found that they typically carry different items than in the normal stores and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. However, something they don’t carry are suits. This store is quite big and good for casual clothing and accessories. Don’t expect too much and you will be surprised! I always come out with an armload of cute things!
Also, there’s usually a coupon for J. Crew in the coupon book and you can get free coupons on the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets website as well as a voucher for a free coupon book.

Not a bad place, just a bit messy. Hard to find a few things like a men’s cashmere sweater… they had a sign, and all of three sweaters were on another table. Staff knows one side or the other (men/​women), so ask the appropriate person on the side or they’ll just redirect you.
On the bright side, they stock plenty of young styles. Not a place for getting gifts for older folk with more conservative styles.
