ALL Guppy houses have the best, softest, freshest boba around, and there are a ton of boba spots in Cerritos. Their milk teas are the most legit. Their snacks are great too. Check them out!!!

I went on a Monday night with my friends to have a late dinner. We all ordered something different and we all loved it. We got the food very fast and our waiter was very nice. Service counts a lot and then the food. I got the popcorn chicken salad and was very good. It was very big also and my girlfriend got the popcorn with soup noodle and also loved and she added popcorn chicken in the soup and made even better. My friends got the meatball soup also and the popcorn chicken plate. They destroyed their plates haha. We love coming since our bad experiences at cha2o. Keep it up Guppy’s :)

Portion sizes were huge! The popcorn chicken is bomb however if you like spice get more than medium(I didn’t even feel it). Food was good overall. The service is really fast! Parking is difficult to find. Recommend the shaved ice and the passion fruit green tea.

Food was pretty good. BEWARE: the food portions are really big! Ihad a lot of leftovers that I took home. I got the kimchi and pork udon soup which was great. I don’t really like pork so i was able to substitute it for beef. The shaved ice is a lot smaller than the bigger guppy house. Great customer service! And there was a lot of seating area available. However it is a bit difficult to get parking because its in a shopping center with a ton of other restaurants.

Overall the place was nice it was clean I got the broccoli and beef which was kind of bitter potato salad was good salad was very good Thai tea was very good my wife and gotten the fish that she could tell it was either catfish or some other bottom feeder could you actually taste the dirt in it when I go back there again maybe but I probably stick to popcorn chicken or something otherwise no. also when I checked in with Unilocal it said free Rick toast with ice cream get up to the counter and ask about it and they say what the ice cream is free not the brick toast the offer says free ice cream and bread toast very deceiving

*Tip* This location is the smaller«express» version of Guppy Tea House(which is down the street on South St. & Pioneer) and not to be confused. With that said, I actually prefer to come to this Guppy location rather than the bigger one unless I am with a large group of people. I like how you place your order at the register, pay and then seat yourself with a number card. It keeps the service quick and effective and I know I won’t be waiting around for a server to come and take my order(which usually happens at the larger Guppy Tea House location). I usually always order the Popcorn Chicken Salad. I’ve come to like it much more than the rice dish. It is a mixed green salad with bits of fresh strawberries, mango, kiwi, and raisins all drizzled with thousand island like dressing but tastier. Sitting on top of the salad is their yummy, crispy, seasoned, popcorn chicken. Portion is large enough to split between two people as it is with most of their dishes. [Parking]: Plaza parking lot tends to get busy. There are also parking spaces in the back of the plaza.

Honestly this is a million times better than the bigger guppy tea house. Love the simple menu, love the drinks(always quality), and the staff here are great. I want to make note of Josh and Irene. They are honestly my favorite workers, and Bernie is my favorite cook. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. When it gets really busy, things start to take a while such as waiting, but they only usually have one person doing everything, so they aren’t to blame. Long story short, I’ve been coming here for so long, and I will continue to come here. I almost never forget to mention this place when talking to customers at the mall(I work across the street at cerritos mall) and they too come back and tell me they loved it! Keep it up greenhouse team! You have a life long customer, and I’ll be sure to bring in some more! Update 9÷12÷15 : This place is still as great as ever. Still my go to place for boba, popcorn chicken, and their heavenly fried rice.(Btw.order your food«for here» and they have pretty good food presentation, not to mention the sides of green salad, potato salad, and corn are to die for. Anyways… my recent visits this past week are ones for the books. I visited last Thursday and was immediately greeted in such a manner that I felt like I actually mattered and that she’s been waiting for me all day haha. I got her name. Christine/Kristine I believe. She was a sweetheart. Took my order, and she also made suggestions that she figured I might like, and that’s how I was introduced to the LEGENDARY Mapo Tofu. Honestly one of my fave dishes now. She was very kind, and she made me want to order more because she was just really awesome and had a really great vibe. I actually wanted to have a conversation with her because she’s that friendly. I made SURE to tip her. On another night; tonight, being a Saturday night, it was VERY busy.(You know, a common night with all the car guys parked backwards with their car mods flaunting their stuff in the parking lot) but yeah, it was very busy yet there was this worker with long hair. I never got to get his name but man he was quick, polite, and very good at keeping his cool. He tended to me as if I was the only customer there, yet it was a full house! I was very satisfied with his exemplary customer service, and even more satisfied with my shaved ice. I also made sure to tip heavy JUST for the service. In summation, whoever is in charge of hiring workers is doing a damn great job because I am so impressed. You wouldn’t really expect much from here, being the«express» version of the bigger original guppy tea house down the street. But because of the employees and consistency with the quality of drinks/food/desserts, I only come here and I haven’t stepped foot in the other guppy tea house in who knows how long. Referred a handful of friends and family here, and I hear their good remarks and now they tell me they’ve been repeat customers because of their satisfaction. KEEPITUP! Don’t lose this A1 quality, and you won’t lose any customers!

I prefer this location to the original one farther down South St. Although this location closes earlier, the service is a lot better. Outdoor couches and picnic tables outside that I really like. I’ve never been a huge fan of popcorn chicken in general, but I really like theirs here. There’s not too much breading on the chicken and the white meat is pretty tender. The boba milk teas are really good, too.

I brought my mom here because I was craving popcorn chicken but I probably shouldn’t have hahaha. Honestly usually the popcorn chicken is fine, like I don’t mind that most of it is just the crust because that’s how most boba places are but then I tried what my mom ordered. It was shrimp with noodles and it was just watered down. In high school I’d get brick toast or shaved ice. So I think I should go back to ordering those. Boba isn’t that great here either. Service is always pretty bad. But there is only one girl working the cash register, giving out food and cleaning the tables. They seriously need more staff. The tables weren’t clean when we got there and so we had to wait outside for our food. We probably wouldn’t get our food if we stayed out there because we saw her giving our food to the customers who ordered after us and they had to tell her it wasn’t theirs.

Been to some guppy house and had good food, but this«green» version had a not-so-good food. Water tasted like crap, ordered chicken chow mein… boy what a $ 8.99 mistake. Some of the chickens tasted like medicine, no kidding, i didnt finish it. The popcorn chicken not as crispy as the other guppy house. Customer service is definitely friendlier tho. More smile than the other places.

Mmmm Guppy Green House. Walking distance from my grandmother’s house, Guppy Green House is a great spot to get boba tea, shave ice, and brick toast. They have their food offerings as well but every time I go to the green house, I usually get Boba, shave ice, and brick toast. Prices for boba are cheaper here than back home in VA, and taste better here too in my opinion. Honey coconut brick toast– probably one of my favorite things. Get shave ice with mango, banana, and strawberries, with condensed milk of course. A small is big enough to share for at least 5 people. Trust me.

I feel bad giving this spot a low rating, because it’s really not the girls fault, but it took FOREVER to get anything. The two times I have been here, there’s only been 1 girl working the entire store. She’s the one ringing people up, making the food and getting the drinks.

I decided to try Guppy Green House more out of curiosity to understand how it differs from the Guppy Tea House which is just down the road from Guppy Green House. Guppy Green House is located in the same plaza that hosts Frostbites, Fusion Tea Bar and a bunch of other good restaurants so parking at peak lunch hour is always tight here but you can get a spot on the right hand side or on the back side of the restaurants. Guppy Green House seems to be more of a boba tea plus shave ice place which also does snacks. It’s operational model is in lines with the hybrid model that most new restaurants are adopting now days i.e. order at the counter then seat yourself, with food delivered to the table. The food menu is pretty limited and reasonably priced with most items being below $ 10. The chirpy female behind the register was really eager to take my order but I told her I needed a minute to decide and got out of the way. I finally went with the popcorn chicken rice combo($ 7.99) which comes with green salad, potato salad and corn. I also opted for the spicy option for the popcorn chicken. The place was pretty empty and within no time I had my plate delivered to my table. The first thing I noticed is that this was a huge platter of food, I mean there is no way that this was a lunch portion for one person so I started with a lot of skepticism as too much food means poor quality. The popcorn chicken was really hot, I mean it had a good kick not like spicy but outright hot. The rice was perfectly cooked and was topped with some meat which also tasted great. The potato salad felt a little heavy, the corn was perfectly steamed and finally the green salad actually had some greens topped rather than lettuce which passes off as green salad in most other restaurants. The dressing on top was a little on the sweeter side and felt a bit heavy but it was pretty good. As suspected I could not finish everything on the platter and in an extremely rare instance had to get a box to take some things to go. My only advise would be to get the medium spicy level of the chicken so that you get some taste of chicken as even though the top spicy level is pretty manageable you don’t get any taste of the chicken itself. Looking at the overall package Guppy Green House seems to tick all the boxes of location, price, quality, service and value for money so I’m sold and will be back to try a couple of more things off their menu.

Poor service. Felt unwelcomed. Could care less attitude from male employee — worked between hours of 3pm-4pm. I came in today with my friend and my grandmother after eating at Umaya ramen for lunch. I asked the male worker behind the cash register if they had the rose tea. His response was,(me paraphrasing) «you can get that at the other guppyhouse location on pioneer.» So, I just ordered 2 boba tea drinks and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Maybe their employee was not in the best mood or whatever. I have been to Guppyhouse many times and everyone was always friendly and accommodating, however, today I guess I had to run into an outlier.

Not sure if I like bright neon lights illuminating my food, but their popcorn chicken and shaved ice are pretty good though. This place to me is more for younger crowds with the bring neon lights, picture aquarium. But everyone is welcomed. It’s small, but they have more seating outside with a couch. Came here on a late Saturday night with friends. It was empty. It was just us and a small group of middle school looking kids. We sat ourselves and ordered food at the counter. We had… –Popcorn Chicken plate $ 7.99 –came with white rice, potato salad, salad and corn kernels. Very large portion. 2 people can share. I like the popcorn chicken a lot. I like the crunchy texture and it went well with the sour dipping sauce. GETIT! –Sweet and Sour Shrimp plate $ 7.99 — Came with enough shrimp. It was cooked perfectly. The sauce was sweet and tangy just how sweet and sour should be. So good with rice! –Medium Shaved Ice– More than enough for 3 people to share. Came with red beans and huge chunks of some kind of sweet potato or probably Taro. Forgot what it was called, but it was sweet and tasty! I like it. We got out food at a timely manner and service was fair. They checked on us if we were okay. Will definitely come back if given the chance.

I love coming to Guppy Green house for a quick boba or popcorn chicken fix. Their prices are definitely cheaper than other boba places in Cerritos. I suggest asking for their secret menu next time! I’m very thankful for the workers at Guppies that work the best they can on busy days. They do their best to accommodate people despite the fact that they’re overwhelmed by the amount of work they have to have to do. One thing that people don’t seem to understand is that Guppy Green house is meant to have a limited menu and have more of a fast food feel. I wish people can be more considerate of the workers here. I hate seeing reviews like how this person didn’t like that other people who ordered before she did get their order before her.(Well hello they ordered before you so shouldn’t they get their order first?)

We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, Popcorn Chicken, Kimchi Dumplings and Gyoza. Shrimp Fried Rice was bland, very little shrimp. Needed spice. Popcorn Chicken was good, big serving, we chose mild spice and it had a tiny kick to it but a good spiciness. Kimchi Dumplings is not something I’d order again. Flavoring was strange. Gyoza seemed like a fried version of the kimchi dumplings. All and all was just okay. Won’t be coming back anytime soon though.

This location is a smaller version of the first Guppy’s Teahouse. The menu options are smaller, but they did seem to get a little bit of everything, and the most popular ones. The whole process is a bit different than the other location. Instead of 100% waiter service, customers are to line up to order, are given a number, and then are to seat themselves. I guess this is an efficient way to run things and reduces the chance of customers experiencing potential bad service(something Guppy’s is notorious for). I got to try the popcorn chicken salad. Overall, it was just okay. I had a few issues though. The plate was really small, no room to mix up the layers of ingredients without fearing it would fall off the plate. In addition, I asked for mild chicken and they gave me spicy. Also, I hate raisins. I wish the worker would have mentioned that when I asked her«what’s in the salad?» I ended up having to remove them and eat around it. Now onto the famous shaved ice! Unlike the other location, this shaved ice remained sweet, and I didn’t have to punch myself for not bringing my own can of condensed milk. That’s good. Just be aware that if you order taro, they won’t put the taro in as a flavoring, but rather, the actual vegetable. So just imagine eating shaved ice with a potato. Yuck!

I have been DYING to come to any of the Guppy Green or Tea House locations after seeing pics of those massive snow cream portions. $ 12.99 is more than i would want to spend on a dessert that only I would enjoy, but luckily they have a $ 6 to go version, perfect. Still massive, quite a long wait too, they were packed. I don’t love the mix of fried foods and ice cream in the same space, but they have nice seating outside, so we went there. What I didn’t know is that they use shave ice, so not the same as snow cream. Basically shave ice, fruit and condensed milk, I love the texture and creaminess of snow, this I did not like, $ 6 for a big tub of basically ice cubes, I brought it back and got a refund. They were nice about it and it wasn’t really their fault, so A ok if you like shave ice, I just don’t.

My favorite Guppy’s! Location is smaller, and they have fewer items on the menu(however they still have all the best!) Overall service is great and much quicker than any other Guppy’s. Still have plenty of seating, inside and outside, and parking.
