My kid came here for a couple of years for his braces and Dr Yagake did a really good job and I’m very happy with the results. One issue that I did have when I was there is that the office did not have a computer which made dealing with my insurance provider a bit of a PITA. This was the year 2014! I’m glad that they started taking credit cards now because they didn’t use to take it just a few months ago and I had to write checks with was so ridiculous.
Anyway they are a great bunch and I’m glad that they are slowly starting to get with the times.
Don’t worry Doc, the NSA won’t get you.

My mom brought me to this orthodontist to fix my broken retainer. My normal ortho guy is located way up in azusa and I was a bit too lazy to drive so far.
My walk in appointment was later in the afternoon on a friday. There were a few people in front of me but one patient was a bit chatty so it took a while to get in the seat.
After the wait, I was finally able to see Dr Yagake. He is very personable and has great chair side manner. He took a look at my retainer and said I did not need to have an impression done to remake my retainer (yay). He simply cut the loose supporting wire off, smoothed the edges and tightened the supporting wire by bending it. The best thing was, he did not even charge me for it.
I would definitely return if certain situations regarding my retainers arise in the future.

Great orthodontist! My family and I all went here and the results were great.
I finished my treatment over 10 years ago but he still makes time to see me when I have random questions or issues relating to my teeth.

He talks a lot sometimes but he has some good life advice. :)
He did my braces back in 2003, many places told me I had to pull extra teeth out to make space but he said I could keep all of them.
No unnecessary pain and extra costs? I like that. Smile’s still good to this day with minor need for a retainer (still fits!).
He did my aunt and brother too. :D
