Robek bek mabango(smells good in Tagalog) $ 2 off coupon Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies, serving up smoothies, freshly squeezed juices, bowls & more, is located within the Los Cerritos Center food court, on the right of Auntie Anne’s and the left of Ruby Thai. Being on a health kick, I wanted something refreshing on a hot day, yet not laden with copious amounts of sugar. With that in mind, it was King Kale for Rodney King King Kale– Consisting of kale, cucumber & carrot, the small size only had a measly 10 grams of sugar. Pleasing to the tastebuds, I quite enjoyed my nutrient powerhouse drink. After downing my King Kale, I immediately felt– –my blood vessels clearing out –my eyesight improving –a warm glow to my skin –a few dimples on my ass vanishing away –my GI tract making preparations to crap out a raised bed full of compost ;p Service was good. The cashier was a nice young woman who wasn’t sure how to ring up the coupon, so she had someone else show her how to input everything. After a short wait, I had my drink in hand & sipped all that goodness through a straw. Parking is at the Los Cerritos Center, the food court being on the west side of the mall near Sears & Forever 21. Ahhhhhh, refreshed! The small King Kale hit the spot for me. Robek’s hasn’t been on my radar, for no particular reason, but I think I may have to remedy that scenario. I still have a BOGO coupon good till the end of the month, so I’m happily going to jaunt back to my local Robek’s, perhaps for their acai bowl. Recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

When you need a quick healthy lunch this should be your go to place. Try the three NEW fitness drinks for fuel, recovery, and energy. The Tropi-kale is one of many very delicious and healthy drinks that you can have instead of a high calorie regular lunch. Power up! I stop by a couple times a week.

Acai bowl treat. You know to be fair, all places make these Acai bowls their own way but i’m one of those people that say, «hey, throw that in there, does that come with it, ooh and how about that?».so with that said, it was overly sweet with all the coconut and honey i added in that doesn’t come with it and i ate it, yeah but it was too sweet for my taste. Next time i’ll get it done like how they do and write an updated review. But the way i had ‘em do it. 3 stars. okay, 4 for consumer interference.

Pretty apathetic towards customers. There was a guy passed out in the back room with his mouth wide open. I swear I saw a fly debating if it wanted to land in the passed out guy’s tongue. I never knew making smoothies was such a demanding jobs. This is near the Sears end of the mall so it was a pain to find the fastest way to get here. I orders my usually BlueBerry Almond Milk Smoothie but I later have the pleasure of dealing with body is it’s extreme dislike of lactose. Not a happy Asian.

Strawnana Berry all day e’ry day. This place is always consistent in flavor with my smoothie. When I go to Jamba Juice it’s usually hit or miss flavor. It’s very inconsistent. But Robeks is the same every time! Service is quick and employees are friendly.

I was VERY unsatisfied with my experience here! I was hesitant to walk up and when I did these 2 employees were standing by the register flirting with each other and play fighting, soo inappropriate for a work environment. I felt really uncomfortable so I waited for them to move. When I walked up, there was another cashier I believe her name was Ashley. She gave the absolute worst customer service I have ever received! Just because you’re having a bad day doesn’t mean you take it out on your customers! She gave me attitude the entire time and rolled her eyes at me, how rude! If I cold give this place 0 stars, I would! I will never return here! VERYUNPROFESSIONAL!

I like having the option of either having a juice or blended smoothie. Definitely a healthy choice for being in the mall. Try the tropikale, it’s definitely one of my favorites!

I always liked Robeks better than J.J. So usually when I’m near one, I get a smoothie with a free nutritional boost. I was told they use fresh fruit, not frozen like other places. This one is located in the food court so it’s easy to get to when you are walking in the mall and need something to cool you down.

Quality: yay, service boo. 2 times I’ve come in and two times I’ve not received what I’ve ordered. Yea the juices and smoothies are good and what appeared to be the manager was apologetic. However if I ask for something, that’s usually what I want. I’ll probably keep trying until they get it right.

ABC — Apple, Beet, Carrot JUICE! Add ice, and it’s perfect drink that makes you feel good about yourself. I ordered from the pick up window, which I think most people do on accident, but their cash register is on the other side. Just a tip. I rarely visit the mall, but glad there is a healthy fresh juice option!

Jamba Juice what?! Oh Robeks, you have truly opened my eyes up to «real, fresh, no sugar added» smoothies and I absolutely LOVE you for that: p I used to be a die hard Jamba fan. I mean come on, White Gummie, Pink Starburst, Sour Patch Kids, and other endless«secret» menu concoctions. Too bad those smoothies also had tons of added sugars and not so good for your body junk :[ No bueno. Thank goodness a Robeks opened up at Cerritos Mall though and opened up my eyes. REAL fruit, REAL juice, and no added sugars. AMEN! My favorites are the Monkey C(banana and orange juice) Carrot+Apple Juice, Awesome Acai, and the list goes on. I just wish they had a standalone store so I don’t have to deal with mall traffic :[

My review will be strictly on what I ordered: Cardio Cooler(Power Smoothie) — Passionfruit-Mango Juice, Mangos, Peaches, Orange & Pineapple Sherbert, Ice + Cardiobek, Fiberbek * Soy Protein MMM This is the first smoothie I’ve ever had at this place and WOW! I was craving something more on the tart side and since I already knew passionfruit is a tart/sour fruit, I figured I wouldn’t lose picking this flavor. You get just the write flavor profiles from each of the ingredients listed and surprisingly the passionfruit flavor wasn’t over-powering the whole thing. I got this shortly after a workout and it hit the spot. Venice Burner(Power Smoothie) — Orange Juice, Peaches, Bananas, Pineapple Sherbert, Ice + Trimbek, Powerbek, & Soy Protein Again, delicious power smoothie. It falls in between sweet & sour so if you’re looking for something tasteful yet neutral, I’d say go for this power smoothie. It almost tasted like an Orange 50⁄50 type of drink. Guava Lava(Tropical Smoothie) — Guava Juice, Strawberries, Pineapples, Bananas, Pineapple Sherbet, Ice If you’ve ever had a guava(nectar) drink, this is exactly what it tastes like. No doubt you’ll taste the guava in there. Personally, I would consider getting this flavor again. Plus, if you fill out their e-mailing list, they’ll email you a coupon for a free 12oz berry/tropical smoothie. The best part about it is that you can take yourself off of their email list after you print the coupon out if you don’t want anymore ads/updates, etc sent to you. That’s how I got my Guava Lava! OVERALL: Definitely a great smoothie place. I enjoy this place more than Jamba Juice… I believe this place has more character and flavor behind their drinks and definitely satisfying to the taste buds =]

So I tried Robeks Juice for the first time today and honestly, I was not very impressed. I had the Strawberry whatchamacallit, and it tasted like fruit roll ups… It had a weird taste at first but it slowly grew on me, but still, I think I’ve had better… maybe not as healthy, but defintely better… Surf City Squeeze… Yumm.

Of all the things I carry around with me at the Los Cerritos Center, none seem to get more inquiries than a cup of juice from Robeks Cerritos. Apparently, Robeks has a following of loyal fans that I was not aware of until they opened this franchise in the Cerritos mall. For example, just yesterday, I was approached by a woman who asked where the Robeks was in the mall, after seeing that I had one as I was about to walk out to my car by Macy’s. Once I told her it was at the food court, she gave me a confused look and said that she didn’t see it there. I told her that it was along the edge of the Palms Court. She walked quickly back that direction. My usual order is something acai-related because of the claims for additional energy. They include a free boost, so be sure to take advantage of that. They have punch cards, so be sure to ask for that if you plan on coming back in the future. The employees have been kind enough to accept my punch card despite me ordering stuff that it’s not technically meant to be redeemed for(like acai). Damn, it feels good to be a gangster. I don’t typically get snack items when I’m here just because if I’m going to try to be healthy, I may want to avoid the cookies. The location is good, as it’s very visible from both directions of the mall, plus still visible from within the food court(unless you’re that lady who asked me where it was yesterday. Apparently, she may also need to stop by the optometrist).

Who hasn’t heard of Robeks? Us Bay Area natives haven’t! San Francisco has the regular chains, Jamba Juice and Surf City Squeeze. This place isn’t bad at all, just another smoothie chain to add to the list. I have been curious about Robeks. My So-Cal cousins always had statuses on Facebook about enjoying their Robeks. So I spotted it at the mall and although I was full I got myself a small Orange Freeze. It was good, similar to the Orange Dream Machine from Jamba but a little less creamier. My sister got the Guava Lava– guava juice, strawberries, pineapple sherbet blended with ice. Nice, fruity and refreshing. They also had some baked goodies, such as muffins, cookies and pretzels. What made them stand out to me was they sell frozen yogurt too. If I can recall they only had one flavor of fro-yo and then your choice of fresh fruits to add as toppings.
