S. Kent Choi DC

Dr. Choi is one of the coolest medical professionals I have ever met. Not only was he great at explaining my specific issues, in a way that I could easily understand, but he’s also extremely personable and funny. I would give him more stars if I could!

I have enjoyed and felt comfortable at every visit.
I come here because I was in a car accident and was having back pain. They have been very helpful since the beginning and even helped me schedule an mri to find out the issue. The massages and alignment that I get weekly have helped A LOT!
Dr. Choi is very thorough when he is explaining things. He asks and makes sure that you understand. I feel comfortable asking him questions even if they seem «silly».
I would recommend friends and family here. The service is amazing and the receptionist are extremely nice.

As chiropractors go there are many styles and philosophies out there. If you’re looking for a doctor who exemplifies professionalism and really understands the way that the personal injury world works, Dr. Choi is your man. Not only will he give you excellent care, but he will make sure that all areas of your injury have been properly diagnosed and treatment protocols have been utilized. There are so many doctors that don’t properly diagnose your injuries and later on you end up paying for it with aches and pains the never fully healed or that could have been addressed if they were at least uncovered. This is not the case at Dr Choi Practice. He is not in it for himself he is in it for his clients to make sure that they get the best care possible. I have been inside his practice and seen that it is clean and professional with easy access and parking. He has many massage therapists as an added adjective therapy option. If you need a pro in personal injury management this is the place for you.

Still experiencing some pain randomly since the last time I visited 3 months ago, but it’s much better. I still come back here every so often to keep me feeling right.
Dr. Choi is still as caring as day one: about my wellbeing and my car accident case. He genuinely wants what’s best for ME so I can be over and done with my dragged on case. His expertise and guidance in my car accident injury case helped so much with my pain AND mental trauma. You’re never really the same mentally and physically after a major collision, let me tell ya…
But I know I would be even more lost, angry, and in lots of pain if I did not have his help.

Best chiropractor I’ve ever been too; he restored me back to a 100% after my car accident and I definitely recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Choi, I’ve recommended this chiropractor to a handful of friends and I will continue to as long as I go there. Staff is polite as well as him himself. Conversation during the adjustments are relevant always gives good tips and advice on properly stretching muscles groups. Massages are awesome and I would consider him a family doctor.

This review is lonnnng overdo. I have been coming here for 3 years now after being referred. A journey that all started with a 2013 New Years Goal to invest in myself. Who would have known that just 5 months into my goal I’d become a REGULAR & I do mean REGULAR at this place! (Thanking a Back Breaking Pregnancy for that!) I was so scared to have Chiropractic care to begin with let alone while pregnant. Dr. Choi and his team erased my fears, SAVED me and took care of my aches and pains.
I’ve continued to come here ever since. Dr. Choi is personable, professional and informative!
The staff here is awesome & organized and the massage rooms and masseuses are relaxing and calming.

Long over due review. I’ll get straight to the point.
Staff: The girls at the front desk are awesome, friendly, and professional. They took the time to get to know you and greet you by name every time you come in. Friendly reminder calls for scheduled appointment, and if you can’t keep that time they will do what they can to get you in the next available slot.
Therapist: I’ve been to Dr. Choi office for 6 months due to an auto accident. So I’ve been seen by most of the therapist. They are all great no question about it, just personally preference. With that said I do personally prefer Heather and do request her when available. She’s very caring and seems to enjoy her work. Very insightful and give great advice to help with the treatment. Always a pleasure thanks Heather!!!
Dr Choi: Great guy all around very knowledgeable very attentive and very easy to talk to. He actually listen and try to give the best guide as to what treatment should be taken. I feel very comfortable talking to and getting the treatment with Dr Choi, any questions asked are answered no sugar coating. Treatments are great, I am confident you will enjoy your visit.

I love this Chiropractor hes very good at his job i always feel good when im done and NOT to mention his STAFF! THE massage ladies are on it they know just what pressure points to hit. Best chiropractic in S. Cal. If you been in a car accident you have to come visit this place. Dr. Choi is very straight forward and makes sure you get the treatment you need.

Dr. Choi and his staff have been treating me for back/​neck pain due to scoliosis and sciatic issues. I’ve been to many other chiropractors over the years, but not one like him. He is kind, caring, knowledgeable and an absolute professional. He takes the time to walk you through what is going on with your back and show you on charts/​skeletons what is going on so that you understand more fully. I am a freak about getting my neck cracked and he gently gave me an adjustment and many times didn’t adjust my neck because of my comfort level. He listens!
Dr. Koop is another Chiropractor who works here also, who I have seen on occassion, and she uses this little device for when I am not up for a full adjustment. She is also great and very caring.
His staff is also wonderful. With each treatment you get a massage that really helps your healing and solidify the adjustment or relax you enough to get one. The massage therapists are the very best. They instinctively know where and how much pressure to apply. They listen to you and your body and get you feeling better fast.
The front office staff is also fantastic. They helped me with my insurance and billing to be sure I was taking full advantage of my benefits.
I really like that he doesn’t try to sell you a bunch of stuff or vitamins either. He isn’t into that. They have some products but they don’t push those on you at all like some other places.

Dr. Choi is the man! I been going here for months and he is probably the best chiropractor around. His clinic is different from other chiropractors out there. The messages are great and his adjustments are spot on. He is so down to earth and really wants you to get better. He is extremely helpful with any questions you might have. He even goes out of his way to find out info you asked for. Such a cool guy with super friendly staff. If he is not your chiropractor you are going to thr wrong place.

My experience with Dr. Choi was very different than other reviews are describing. I was referred to him by another doctor in the building after I was in a car accident. The first conversation I had with him he spent most of the time discussing the accident, how much money I could get, which lawyer I should attain, how we can build up the case, etc.
He did minor adjustments on me, but the only beneficial treatment was the massage therapy. One time, he was out and I saw Dr. Bowen who adjusted me completely differently and let me tell you, I felt like I got a whole new spine after seeing him! The next time seeing Dr. Choi I told him what had worked for me and his response was «Well I don’t adjust like that» and continued doing the same ineffective adjustments as before.
Every time I saw him, the conversation about money and my lawsuit continued. He even called my attorney to discuss the case, tell him about his plan to aggressively treat me and build the case. That’s not a doctor’s job, his job is to treat me effectively — which he never did. He pressured me to get pain management shots because they’re expensive and would add to my claim, of course he had another friend who he could refer me to. I became so uncomfortable with him that I stopped going and found a different chiro who alleviated my pain for half the price.
Bottom line — Dr. Choi is out for money. If you’ve been in an accident he’s going to use the severity of your case to add to his bill and get the best pay out. If you get referred to this office, only see one of his associates and the massage therapists if you’re actually looking for relief.

I was referred to Dr. Choi from a friend who also received Dr. Choi’s care and guidance. I had just gotten into an accident and I wasn’t sure what to do. I didn’t know what was the right process to take to be compensated for my injury. Dr. Choi gave me immediate attention to my injury and then guided me through the complicated process of receiving a settlement for my injury.

Dr. Kent as well as the other doctors are amazing. I was referred by the lawyer after an accident, which required me to get some physical therapy and treatments. I was treated mainly by Dr. Kent and he was very informative about what was going on and future wise as well. Also, while he was treating for several months, he lead me step by step in order for me to get the best quality of treatments as possible. He makes a doctors visit enjoyable as well. I will surely miss the staff and the office.

I found Dr. Choi on Unilocal after getting into a car accident. I was skeptical with chiropractors at first from previous experiences but Dr. Choi seemed to change all of that. With him, you never felt like you’re rushed, he’s very patient and always had a good attitude no matter how busy he was. Instead of cheap electrotherapy and useless machines from other chiropractors, this place offers massages from an actual masseuse. Massages ranges from soothing to therapeutic, depending on your masseuse. If you want a therapeutic massage that would actually help you heal, ask for Ezaria or Heather. Everyone else is more on the relaxing side. I would recommend Dr. Choi to all my friends.

Lisa at the desk is friendly. She sometimes call to remind you of an appointment or if you’re not there at your appointment time.
Dr.Choi loves to chitchat with you. Just make sure he doesn’t take up your massaging time.
If I recall back to the time I was working with this doc, I felt so pressured and almost forced into taking the shot to increase the hospital bill when I clearly didn’t think I needed the shot. Reading the other review that someone else wrote kinda seemed the same feeling I got about the money situation.
Dr.Koop is very energetic and always happy.
For massages: Really depends on who massages you. One girl only uses one hand and that doesn’t feel very nice. I refuse to get massages from her. Other than that I love love love getting massages from others. Naz is the best! Very sweet lady and very talented. Always looking forward to see her.
Overall, this place was the best at massages.
