I’ve read all the other reviews and my experience was quite the contrary.
This nail shop has come a long way from when it was around over 10 years ago.
Sure there’s the upsales from pedi to mani-​pedi from regular nail polish to gel from gel to design but that’s business.
Self-​care is important and I lucked up on Van who is very detailed and friendly. She took her time and held great conversation.
I enjoyed the experience. I have to be honest: the other women who worked there did seem very business oriented in their demeanor but you get what you give.
I would come back to see Van. She’s a joy so you should try her too.
Tip: There’s this spa lotion that Van broke up. It’s warm and blue. Ask for that.

Worst customer service and overpriced! My nails came out looking horrible and all over the place. Not only did she rush. «Helen» gave me attitude and got mad when I made a simple and polite request. It was my only day off and instead of enjoying my nice pedicure and manicure she ruined my day. Nails look super thick and they look like they need a fill Not even 2 minutes with them on. They need better employee’s. I was told I would pay 40 for acrylic and pedi. I got charged over $ 65

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my life! I came here because I work late and they are the only nail place open late. Biggest mistake! Tell me why my quote to start was $ 25 and my total ended up $ 57. I was sat in the last chair. Had one person do my mani, I like my nails, and a woman do my toes. She starts my toes and there is no one else around. She’s taking her time. And as soon as some woman walks in. And starts speaking to her in her language she starts rushing and doing a half ass job on my toes. Ask for Callus remover and she didn’t even scrub my toes. But sure did charge me for it. Her paint job was awful and there was no massage for neither my hands or feet! When I go to pay the man at the register can’t get his machine to work and proceeds to ask me for another card because visa is too busy or go get cash. Is her going to pay the $ 10 atm charge at the mall. I forgot my sandals, my fault. She asks if I want to buy their cheap flip flops… Buy?! My place give complimentary when you forget. Anything to make a dollar. Nope. Not friendly.
Needless to say I will NEVER return here for my nails again or EVER recommend this place to anyone

It was my first time here i got julie and i have to say she did a horrbile job on my nails she didn’t even take her time. Also she was so mad that i told her no about getting gel, ive never seen someone get so mad about a customer saying no to gel. my nails came put ugly and she left bubbles i will never ask for her agian… If you decided to come here request for Lisa she did my friends nails and they came out beautiful.

I have only gone to Julie ever since I started having my nails done in this place. She was awesome in the start but the quality of work declined after a while.
I walked in 2 weeks ago to get my nails done for my Vegas trip. Julie was free and I got seated on her chair as soon as I walked in. The pedicure was great (and the massage as well) tho it all went south when she started doing my hands.
As she was trimming my cuticles, she started arguing (or so I think?) with the owner of the place. Mind you she was speaking in Vietnamese and I cannot understand anything that they were talking about but her tone kind of explains it all. After all that, she went back to trimming and nicked it causing it to bleed.
Julie’s temper + cuticles are not a good combination. Lol!
It wasn’t as painful but it was unprofessional in my opinion. That incident strikes this place out of my to-​go list.
I would recommend Julie for her massage, as the mani-​pedi is a hit and miss.
Oh and before I forget, I have never seen an establishment who charge you extra $ to use your card. So big turn off for me.

Bad service they tell you 15 minutes and you end up waiting a lot more and if you go I’ll Avoid the owner. She gets up to help other customers walking in and forget she’s doing her nails. Really bad service make sure you doublecheck the nail polish u r using because they’re very dry and clumpy

I use to be a regular here but their customer service just became nonexistent. So rude. Quality is not even up to par. Only lilly and Julie get a pass. For the price you pay here you would think they’d give you better treatment but NOPE. Don’t waste ur time.

I gave this salon 3 stars because it’s nothing extra special. the best person to do your nails is Julie but she is ALWAYS busy because so many people know that she is the best. I call ahead to make my appointments and still end up waiting because she will end up taking a walk in and doing them during my «appointment» time. Compared to other salons their selection of gel polish is pretty small. I always say I want to try somewhere else but I always end up coming back to Julie because she really does a great job. So if you come here go to her!
Another thing I don’t understand here about the pricing is that a brand new full acrylic set with gel polish is $ 30 and a manicure with just gel polish is $ 25.I just don’t get it, you’re better off getting acrylic (fills are $ 25 as well)

So I’ve came here three times there always pretty busy and they can’t do both my feet and hands at the same time which is a little irritating but they are open later then any other place which is a plus cause I work and don’t always have the time do go and my my nails done i had a younger female do my nails for Valentine’s day which she did an awesome job didn’t catch her name but will be back for her

I’ve been to this place multiple times, and a gel manicure has only ever cost me $ 20. All of a sudden they decided to charge me $ 30. I refuse to be ripped off by a nail salon who does a mediocre job. I will never be attending this place again.

Listen… do not come here. I do not know what type of business they are running but its bad.
Ok so today I stopped by here while I was in the mall while I was shopping. I had gel polish on my nails, which you are supposed to remove by soaking in acetone, then gently removing the polish. Well for some reason the woman that was doing my nails decides she definitely wants to use the acetone, but then proceeds to remove the gel not with a file of some sort but a cuticle cutter. Like the sharp side you use to cut cuticles… long story short, my thick beautiful nails were reduced to paper thin nails so thin that i can press on the tip and they bend. I should of said something when i saw her use it, but I hate being confrontational.
She kept trying to make it seem like it was gel that kept my nails hard… i showed her my right hand, which the nails didn’t get damaged as much and my left. She just ignores me and talks over me. When I explain it again she tells me «what do you want me to do? can’t you just accept sorry?»
They are rude, and poorly trained… no effort to remedy the issue. Their cleanliness is questionable as i didn’t see them open a tools pack. You cant have crappy customer service, poor cleanliness and poorly trained staff. You have to pick a struggleeeee!
So do not come here, they suck and they’re overpriced

I went to get my nails done today with a very good friend of mine. We were really looking forward to getting together and having a Mani pedi. How experience was something like a very weird movie.
He started by handing us the box of gel colors. When I asked how we were supposed to know what color was inside each bottle I don’t think they understood me. Their command of the English language is poor at best. Finally someone else came over and said that we were looking in the wrong place.
Send me had me sit in the spa chair for my pedicure and my friend had to sit at a manicure table. When she asked if we could please sit together they said they didn’t have anyone to do her pedicure. A couple of minutes later the same woman let her go over to the spa chair to do her manicure. The woman that was doing my manicure both absolutely no English. She took my phone away for me and moved it somewhere she took my water away from me and moved it somewhere and then she grabbed my purse and put it on the floor without asking me.
They all seem like really nice people but they just don’t understand English well enough. And they rescue so that it feels like you’re in a title wave of activity. Not a place to go to relax.

OK I got a gel manicure three days ago and on the second day my paint started to chip. Its a gel manicure its not supposed to chip. also it took over an hour for my nails to get done. I get a manicure every two weeks and I’m not sure why I keep going to other salons where my nails get jacked up. So unhappy because if two of my fingers are chipping in such a short time I can just imagine what they will look like by the weekend. I do not recommend this place.

Was iffy about coming here because of the reviews, but I had to try it since I had no other choices.
I arrived at around 8pm. Not a very bad experience! However, I waited for about 20 minutes so it was kind of annoying since there wasn’t a lot of people. The lady who did my nails seemed like she was in a rush. Despite all that, it came out great and the way I wanted it to be. The tools are sterilized and there’s a good choice of gel and regular polish.
I may or may not come back here, but this would definitely be my go-​to if you’re in an emergency to get your nails done since a lot of the salons in Cerritos/​Artesia close at 7pm or earlier.

Eyelash extensions gone wrong!!! Not even two days old and they’re already falling out. I am beyond mad. Not only that when I was paying for my services the lady at the front insisted I give more tip. Are you kidding me?! Why should I give more tip to a lady who hurt my upper lip when she was waxing it. And kept getting eyelash glue all over my face!!! The glue goes on the extensions girl not my face!!!

I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to for this salon.
HORRIBLE!!! They totally rushed it. Throughout my nail session, I had to stop them just so they could correct the problem. Nails ended up very uneven and looked deformed. I got the acrylic gel French tip. First and last time! Wouldn’t recommend at all. My finger nails are in pain and they do not look professional at all. Not worth the money spent. Don’t waste your time ladies! Very very upset.

I’ve been coming to Signature Nails and Spa for years. I love the work of one manicurist and her name is Lily. She has been doing my nails for 8 years now and they always look great. She doesn’t try to up-​sell you on services. She only offers you what you need and she lets the quality of her work and attention to detail speak for itself. She is very modest but she clearly has a gift with design. I love the location of the salon too. It’s right in the mall next to Sees candy. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking because of the mall location. Give yourself time to park so you can be on time. I’ve also gotten my eyelash extensions from her and eyebrows waxed. Because of the mall location they are opened 7 days a week with a closing time of 9:00pm weekdays. I love this place!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I am honestly not one to take time to leave reviews on Unilocal.Nevertheless a negative one. However, I have never experienced such a horrible job that I had to leave a review for this place.
Frist, it was very close to closing time and most of the nail salons I Unilocaled were closing. I stumbled upon this place on Unilocal and saw that it was a 2 star rating. I was in desperate need of a manicure and decided to give them a chance. BIG MISTAKE. I asked the lady for acrylics but she kept telling me no and told me to go with just gel manicure on my normal nails. I said okay and went with just the gel manicure.
She applied the gel coat so thick that my nails are very uneven and bumpy looking. She also painted the sides of my skin so now I have to go home and file them down. I asked for her to file my nails in an oval shape and she files them square and VERY UNEVEN.
Cost $ 30 for this horrible job. Please ladies do not come here… really waste of money and time. My skin also hurts and feels like I got burned.

Lily is the best nail technician there is. She is sweet and oh so talented. She’ll take her time with you and she’ll do whatever design you want. She’s the best! Thank you Lily.
