Teriyaki chicken sandwich is the best! My Bf & I always get it, & also the cheese fries!

cheese steak is bland. This place is pretty bad, they short cut everything. My baked potato was precooked then reheated in a microwave in a Styrofoam container in which is was served in. Chives are dried. Potato was drowned in what was supposed to be butter but from the stomach ache i got I think its more like industrial«margarine». I saw the cook making chili for someones fries, it looked like dog food he threw on the grill then he soaked it in water to reheat it and thin it out. I saw no fresh cut fries! I’ll never return to this location.

Over the last month I have eaten here three times. My biggest issue is the inconsistent quality of the original Philly cheesesteak. Each time I’ve gone there is a different person cooking and although I haven’t had to complain about the amount of meat they put on a their sandwich my visit today was disappointing. I ordered a 12″ original Philly cheesesteak. Out of habit I check my food before I leave, and was very taken back by the lack of meat. Having ordered this multiple times I asked the manager if they were sure this was right. I literally had a bread sandwich with a side of meat. I’ll post pics so you can judge for yourself. The manager is very friendly, but It bothered me that she actually felt the sandwich was acceptable. I’m a believer in treat others how you want to be treated, to turn a customer away like«it is what it is» is poor service. Stop calling that sandwich an original philly cheesesteak, because it is NOTEVENCLOSE. I’ll never go back to this location.

The teriyaki chicken sandwich is so yummy! So good, I crave it. The downside is that they can be kinda stingy… for example, no refills on soda. Fries weren’t seasoned at all last time I got them so I won’t be ordering those again. 4 stars strictly because of the sandwich. I’ll be back for the sandwich when the mood strikes again.

Just another average lunch spot in Cerritos Towne Center. It’s located mid-way between Rubio’s and Yasai so it’s not very visible. I’ve been here a couple of times for their original Philly’s Cheesesteak. I generally get the 12 inch variety as a combo with fries and drink for $ 9.99. Taste wise it is very average and nothing to write home about. Sadly this ends up being just another place to break the monotony of eating at subway whose sandwiches I prefer any day over what I’ve had here.

Hit or miss. Depending on the day, the hour and the mood the food could either be awesome or horrible. I actually like philly cheesesteaks but well I guess this place is what you pay for is what you get. Sometimes there are actually people working here who take their job seriously and then there are days when I go in and the staff are chitchatting and hating their lives so they really don’t want to do their job. It was kind of strange because I came here to get a sandwich around 8pm and they close at 10, however they were cleaning up and in a rush. I thought maybe it was closing time from the way they were acting to make our food and pause to approve the orders we were making. Anyways, this place is a «at your own risk» type place.

oh my goodness, I think they had a classic case of the salt shaker top falling off when they were sprinkling the steak. I couldn’t bear to eat the sandwich… and that is a rarity. I would have been better off with a salt lick. I would have asked for another one, but we had already snuck it into the theater before we tried it.

My review will strictly be on what I’ve ordered: Veggie on Wheat — SALTY! Believe it or not I don’t think it was the seasoning that made it salty, but the OLIVES. I LOVE olives, but I saw them reach into the container where the olives were sitting in their own brine and plop it onto the flat top. By doing this, all of that extra salty brine went into the mix. It would’ve been better it they strained the olives first. My sandwich was so salty that all I tasted was SALT. I was so disappointed! Buffalo Chicken on Wheat — Decent. The buffalo sauce wasn’t that great. Again, this sandwich was on the salty side. Not much flavor overall. OVERALL: Probably won’t be coming here again. Cheap and flavorless food for a ridulous price.

This Great Steak & Potato location is somewhat hidden from the rest of the Cerritos Towne Center. It faces a Juice It Up! and the restrooms, and beyond those, the Edwards movie theater, just in case you need points of reference. I admit, I haven’t really eaten here consistently under the older color scheme(blue and pink, I believe). I only went back at the request of my folks, who I was out with one day a couple weeks ago. They felt like having a cheesesteak and I caved in and went ahead and bought them a couple, including one for myself. I realized they had changed up their once dull color scheme to black and brown wood. They’ve added a monitor that clearly displays your order or various specials, when not in use. There’s a small dine-in area to the left of the counter, but I recommend just bringing out your food and eating in the outdoor food court, for a less confined feel. If you’re eating on summer nights or weekends, you may be treated to live music as well… so more reason to do so. I actually was satisfied with the size of the sandwich, having ordered a regular Philly cheesesteak. The bread was softer than I remember(a good thing) and the meat more closely resembled Philly’s Best(another good thing). There is a level of customization to the sandwiches, but I like it relatively plain. I only added swiss cheese and grilled onions – you know umami sort of stuff. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t care for their onion rings, however, as the portions were too little and doesn’t taste as good as the steak fries. This is literally nit-picking, but my one complaint is the quality of the straws they use. It’s horribly thin, flimsy and cracks easily. You’re almost better off drinking directly from the rim of your cup.

This has long been one of my favorite Mall Food establishments. Though not on par with the original it’s probably the best Philly sandwich a Californian can ask for. I suggest it to anyone who asks.

I got the philly burger combo deal. Good price but the burger was cooked dry. The chasier said their burgers was better their in-and-out, but fell very short. She even asked me how was the burger when I was done eating, I had to be brutally honest. I think their flat top grill is ok for warming sandwich meats like pastrami or roast beef, but for a burger, not even close to hot enough to make a char.

I have been to several of their locations and this one has the worst service. There was no one out front to greet customers. I had to wait awhile before anyone came out to take my order. I ordered the Great Steak and they put wilted lettuce on it. The part of their rear kitchen/storage are that is visible to the public looked dirty and messy. When I asked for another bottle of malt vinegar(the one out front was empty) the employee took a long time to find it. Will not come to this location again

I work in this little area now and decided to come here for lunch the other day. Honestly, the service is hit or miss and it can take like 20 minutes to get a cheesesteak when it shouldn’t. That being said, they are fracking delicious. I had a 7″ Chicagoland cheesesteak and it was delightful. I wish I had ordered the larger one. The King fries are also a tasty sin… a mountain of fries with cheese, bacon, sour cream, and chives. Mmmmm-mm! Also, the Brisk raspberry iced tea here is THEBOMBDIGGITY! It’s addicting. I don’t think I’ve ever craved for that many refills for any other drink. Great place to come for lunch, but not if you’re in a hurry.

My potato was smaller than other places really cut down on all the ingredients. The baffola sandwich was amazing great fries. Free(limit 2) ranch =) great service. Just need to have bigger potato’s.

I’d say 3.5 stars because I think it’s a little on the pricey side for what you get. I usually get the Chicken Bacon ranch sandwich and it’s always made the same way, exactly how I like it. And to be honest, this is all I’ve had here because I like sticking to what I know and like. Being a major fan of french fries, I love theirs. I don’t like that they serve it in cups because it makes it difficult to put the seasoning on it(that is why I always ask for a sandwich tray instead) I don’t like the location. obviously in the Towne Center and Matt is dead on when he says the workers look like they are an hour away from suicide. Their attitudes does make it difficult to order from here because you pass by for lunch, glance in and see them. and decide«eh, I’ll do Rubio’s instead.»

First Impression: It’s in the Cerritos Towne Center, need I say more? It’s a small food joint with about 6 tables inside. The Menu: There is a good variety of hot sandwiches and stuffed potatoes. What We Ate: Chicken Philly Sandwich, Fries and Iced Tea The Food: Very good. The sandwiches are prepared to order. There are usually two guys behind the counter, one cashier and one cook. Our sandwich is ALWAYS loaded with meat and veggies. The fries are so good, they are from fresh-cut potatoes. The Server: Contrary to the last reviewer, we’ve always had good service. The guys behind the counter aren’t much for small talk but our orders are always perfect. The Pricing: We usually get a large combo and it usually runs us a little less than $ 13. It sounds a little pricey but the sandwich is HUGE and so are the fries. Oh did I mention, we always share a large combo. CONS: There are so few indoor seats, the grill makes it quite warm inside and outdoor seating is usually taken by smokers. So yea, that’s the reason for 4 stars. Otherwise, the food is great!
