Our Watch Works and Total Time locations in both Lakewood and Cerritos malls have consolidated and moved into the Cerritos Promenade.

Twenty eight years ago, Watch Works-​Total Time opened our first location in San Bernardino in 1988. In the years since, we expanded across Southern California to reach a peak of 12 stores. The challenge to keep up a high level of quality personal service brought about the decision to downsize to a more manageable level.

Watchworks in Cerritos, CA has the BEST customer service! I have been taking my watches to this store for the past 20 years. Always a positive experience, and the repairs are done quickly and correctly! I took my brother-​in-​law to this store and Nick was able to customize a ring for his bride to be! It was beautiful and we all loved it. Don’t just think this is a watch store, fine jewelry as well and you will be amazed at the money you will save when you buy your jewelry from Watchworks vs. a jewelry shop in the mall.
If you are ever in the market for a new or used vintage watch go see Nick and his team. Also if you are in the market for a wedding ring, you MUST stop by and talk to Nick and allow him to provide you with a quote. You won’t be disappointed! Watchworks has it all and the best part is the friendly, quick customer service you will receive every time you visit!

Pretty sweet place, gets the job done efficiently with no watch damage. And they do stamp cards, how cute! :)
I arrived at 520pm Sunday evening for a battery change for my Michael Kors watch. I was out by 530pm. The man working wouldn’t charge me until he was sure it worked, which made me feel good about his commitment to his craft. Needless to say it definitely worked and my watch is back in operation!
I only own one watch so I’m not sure if I’ll ever fill the card, but I’ll definitely refer others in the area here for watch servicing.

I brought my Rolex in for service and was pleased to discover they were half the price of the Rolex service center in LA. When I got my datejust back it looked like it was brand new! While I was there I saw a pre-​owned Rolex in the case for my fiancée and they gave me an unbelievable price so I bought it!

WATCH WORKS does work!
I was happy to find them on Unilocal,since I had dealt with them in the past at their Lakewood location. What can I say? These guys are AWESOME! I needed my Accutron watch sized up and I got great customer service! Not only did they sized my watch to a perfect fit, but Jackie helped me set the time as well (without me saying a word) In my book, thats great service! I will be coming back again for any watch needs. These guys service all types of watches. From expensive time pieces to your most economic brands, From automatic movement to quartz movement.
By the way, besides the great service I got, I only paid $ 10 to get my fold-​over clasp adjusted to the perfect size.

My watch though is an Eco-​Drive Citizen (never needs a battery), but its bracelet (metal links) broke at one point and it took me ages to find a reputable, reliable place to get it fixed.
Ten minutes or so after some unsettling pounding and hammering from behind the counter, I got it back, good as new. Total $ 12 bucks.
I looked it over just to be reassured that all that hammering was necessary (I don’t know why I thought it would be a silent repair thing, but watch repair seems to be on the same scale of silence as libraries, soooo…)
Huge selection too of watches, high end and mid range in stock, as well as jewelry.
Definitely more spacious than the old location inside the Cerritos mall.

These guys were great. I found them on Unilocal and they were able to put a few batteries in my Fossil watches so I didn’t have a long drive to Costa Mesa to the official Fossil store! Checking in with Unilocal also gave me a discount!
While they were changing out batteries, I was captured by the high caliber and high quality watches in the store. Amazing selection and consignment watches as well, if you want the quality without the price.
The owner was in the shop and he was a pure delight to talk with. Friendly and honest was my impression. I’m definitely going here to buy my next watch.

My wife had two watches that were no longer running that she wanted in working condition again. I brought them here to Watch Works.
Jackie was the employee who helped me and I give her high marks for knowledge and for friendly customer service.
One watch just needed a new battery that was changed in a matter of minutes and the other, it was suspected, needed a unique solar battery. But before special ordering the battery, Jackie did some testing and called me later that evening. She determined the battery was fine and just needed to be «recharged» with light. It turns out my wife didn’t know it was run by a solar battery! No charge for our ignorance.
My experience showed Watch Works to be both trustworthy and ethical as well as providing superb customer service.

The Watch Works that was originally in the mall has moved out here, where it’s in the same shopping center as Target, but in the food area that includes Five Guys, Starbucks, and the upcoming Fish Market. Parking isn’t too bad, but we came in on a Monday versus a weekend. There is certainly a lot of foot traffic during the weekend.
Now, they’ve only been moved in for approximately 11 days, now, so they are still trying to find their way around the store. Same employees, though, so service has been pretty awesome when the bf and I visit. We typically deal with Massoud, and he’s one of the most knowledgeable and friendliest persons we’ve met. We probably wouldn’t visit Watch Works at all if it wasn’t for him. He has an idea of our tastes, knows other brands that may be similar that we may not have considered before, and will provide background knowledge of some of the watches that we never would have known.
Anyways, good selection of used watches, with anything from G-​Shocks to Longines. They have pocket watches, as well. They do have new watches, such as Seiko, Luminox, and Citizen, and they seem to also take requests if you have anything else you want. For example, they have a few Hamilton’s, but I don’t think they are a Hamilton dealer. It definitely doesn’t hurt to ask, of course. Nice selection of watch boxes.
Anyways, they’re still getting settled in, but they are definitely more than happy to help out. I’m so glad they finally opened up after they closed the Cerritos Mall location almost 8 months ago.
