This year brought the new HP Pinnacle line of shingles from Atlas Corporation with 3M Scotchguard built into the shingle, which allows a lifetime warranty against the ugly streaks and stains that make a house look dirty.

We have created an environment that rejects the formation of algae and mold, ensuring that your roof stays pristine looking for the life of your home and protecting your investment with great warranties.

By using synthetic underlayments and staying up to date on the ever changing warranty requirements of the major manufacturers, we are able to offer FULL lifetime roofing systems that are backed by the manufacturers in writing.

We also give our customers a 15 year non-​prorated workmanship warranty, that is also backed 100% by the manufacturers…

History

Established in 1994.

Started out in 1993 as James Verdier Roofing, changed in 1994 to C and J Roofing and Remodeling. Started with no more than a little pickup and a willingness to work, and as business came in, added more equipment. For the first 5 – 6 years, it was mainly me, or a helper or two, did many, many roofs by myself. First 7 years was a real learning experience and did mostly residential roofing .

by 2000 was doing large commercial jobs in Letterkenney and was an approved Johns Mannville installer.

Now, many hundreds, if not thousands of roofs later, we have compartmentalized to having vinyl siding, windows, doors and decks, along with additions

Residential roofing including All types Steel roofing, Shingle roofing, Cedar Shake and Slate roofing, synthetic roofing, and residential rubber roofing

Commercial EPDM, TPO, PVC and various roof coatings

Maintenance and waterproofing exterior of properties to thermal imaging inspections

Jimmy V.

Business Owner

Born in 1968, with an older sister and a younger brother. Raised in and around Chambersburg area with a few years in Texas as a young man, and a few years in Md as a teenager.

Have always had an interest in learning as much as I can.

Worked on a farm during my summers from about 8 or 9 on til about 13, then various summer jobs but helped tear off roofs somewhere along the line and for some reason it took. Once I realized I could make a decent living off roofing, I started doing full time and due to circumstances, I ended up starting my own business so I had steady work.

In 1995 I fell and broke/​dislocated my wrist, but kept the biz going

In the 2000s started making trips south and west for parts on winters, and continue with that as much as I can .

In 2005 due to Katrina, I spent the last months of summer and fall making trips loaded down to Mississippi .

In 2006 I fell and broke my leg in 5 places but guess I’m stubborn

Now I am always looking to better myself and my company
