History

Established in 1978.

ATSi evolved from a franchise service in 1978 to a sole proprietorship in 1994 to a small business corporation in 2006. Our client base is comprised of retail enterprises, personal services, professional services to individual and entity tax reporting services. Our staff is comprised of Accredited Business Accountants, ABA, Accreditied Tax Preparers and Advisors, ATP & ATA, plus Enrolled Agents, EA, licensed by the IRS. Business Owner

After years in the retail corporate world I escaped to open my own business services franchise in 1978. Since then we have grown to a staff of five accountants, enrolled agents and payroll service providers to serve the needs of East Central Illinois entrepreneurs. Along the way we have volunteered our services to our state accounting professional organization, Independent Accountant Association of Illinois, IAAI, as its President in 1994 and again in 2012. The National Society of [Public] Accountants, NSA, elected Dan as its President in 2004 and the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation, ACAT, elected Dan to a two year term as President in 2010. Although Dan is not licensed in the state of Illinois he has worked alongside the leadership of the National Association of State Boards of Accounting, NASBA, on issues of common concern to both licensed and unlicensed practitioners throughout the USA. Reaching out beyond our ATSi limits has enabled or growth experience.
