History

Established in 1975.

Been doing this type of work since I was a kid. Learned most of what I do by doing it myself. Bought my first house in 1973 and have owned and rehabbed ever since. A good portion of the work I have done is on older, pre 1900 houses. Not very many people out there know how to repair plaster. I do. I can do carpentry (have a full woodshop), small electrical and plumbing and have extensive experience painting. If it has to do with an older house I probably have done it.

Self taught in many trades. Been working on and learning about houses since my dad turned me loose at the age of 10 to tell the electricians how to wire our house. Always had a fascination about tools and how they work and if they don’t work, why. In an earlier time in my life I was a psychotherapist working with damaged people, I see that as a prelude to the current work I do working with damaged houses. Each one is different, yet share some basic similarities.
