Terrible customer service on more than one occasion. I’ve given up on this location and will shop elsewhere.

I don’t patronize Hobby Lobby for craft materials or sewing materials but for the home décor items. I have numerous framed prints and wrought iron accents from here in my home as well as mirrors and decorative glassware and picture frames. The sales are hit and miss but when they have them for the item you want, it’s very good. I needed some decorative mirrors for my bar room and saw some flimsy ones at Walmart for $ 30 each. Instead, I bought two sturdy, wrought iron trimmed mirrors at Hobby Lobby on 50% off sale for the same price as one of the Walmart ones. They also have great stuff at Christmas time.

I’m disappointed to see how many bulk, sub-par art materials that Hobby Lobby merchandisers in their assortments.(Chinese 130lb watercolor paper? Seriously? FYI for non-watercolors t’s out there — there Re standards… 90lb, 120lb, 140lb, 300lb etc.) They run regular sales of 30−40% off, but that just makes their pricing right on average with where it should be to complete with real art supply stores like Dick Blick. Be careful at checkout, too. Even though the price is marked at X, the checker may ring you up at X + 10% because«that’s what the computer charged.» Here’s an example of pricing: individual student quality(Staedtler) watercolor pencil marked at $ 1.79, I was charged $ 1.99. I later was at Art Coop and they carried PRO quality watercolor pencils(Derwent) for $ 1.60 ea. I’ve visited Hobby Lobby for the last time. I won’t be back.

Pretty awesome, especially when compared to Michaels or Jo-Ann. I personally think Prairie Gardens is a big nicer in certain aspects, but you definitely can get a lot of stuff here for not as much moola. I often times find myself showing up here for really random crafting stuff, and occasionally for frames. It’s decent for sure.

Always a good place to go to when Michaels doesn’t have it or its too expensive there. I bought stencils there.

I came to Hobby Lobby in search of somewhere to frame my large, irregularly-sized print. It’s about 26″ x 48″, and so it was going to be pricey anywhere, but I was looking to spend no more than $ 100. I met with the framing department there and arranged to have a frame custom-made with glass, backing, and hanging hardware. It took them about two weeks to get the frame made and cost me $ 98 for everything. The frame looks great on my wall! My only complaint is that their hours make it really difficult for me to get by except on Saturdays.

I spent many of hours here looking for different things for sorority and club events. They have much better prices than michaels or jo-anns. If you’re at all into crafty stuff, you will lose at least a few hours here!

I feel a little too much like my own mother spending an hour in a store like this; a store that sells«fashion bandanas,» fake flowers, foam stencils, and any number of other items that could easily be called«chotckes.» However! Why did I spend an hour there? First I needed a frame. They had a bunch in the right size(Target had zero in the right size.) Then I needed some markers, brushes, and paints to reclaim the tiny drop of creativity I had in my life before I went to MIT. I was SHOCKED at how good the selection was, and how cheap. Then I thought maybe I would start making a scrapbook! This store made me want to start making a scrapbook! I barely made it out without a scrapbook! AH! Still doesn’t meet muster for stationery(no premium papers or notebooks), but I’ll be back. I know I’ll be back. **Shudder**

One of my favorite places to shop! The yarns, especially their own brands are lucious, simply yummy, and the prices can’t be beat. I have rarely been disappointed when looking for a particular craft item. The cashiers are great, and the manager, Rick, is wonderful. I wish they’d offer more craft classes, and more clover crochet hooks, that would truely make them my dream store.
