History

Established in 2010.

Railsplitter Media was founded by Chris and Anne Lukeman. After working in video production in East Central Illinois for over 6 years, they founded the company to fill the niche market of high quality web video for businesses. Railsplitter Media is passionate about using the medium to tell the stories of clients, and strives to make video an easy and affordable option for businesses of every size. They have had a wide variety of commercial clients in Champaign County, including businesses, television networks, and non for profit organizations. Aside from their commercial work, their narrative short films have been featured on VH1, The Big Ten Network, multiple PBS affiliates, in film festival programs, received Mid America Emmy, Hugo, and National Student Television Award recognition, and screened on local cable access stations. Chris and Anne’s narrative projects have received over 250,000 views on YouTube.

Chris Lukeman has been working in video production for over 6 years. He balances his experience as a director, camera operator, and editor with his knowledge of small business and client services.

Chris holds an advertising degree from the University of Illinois and a law degree from Southern Illinois University.
