The Champaign Home Depot isn’t just a hardware store. We provide tools, appliances, outdoor furniture, building materials to Champaign, IL residents. Let us help with your project today!
The staff up front in customer service makes you feel like you’re an inconvenience! Sonoma stated we signed a pick up sheet/release form for our grille, which we did not. We had just called in earlier that day to see it was assemble. Two days in a row she would not ring our items up, and pushed us over to another register. We are never offered help with loading heavy items, and I’m 100lbs! She acts like she hates her job and her life, and I’m pretty sure she should work in the back, not up front doing customer service work. We are done, you’re welcome for the $ 3,000 in purchases, and we will remain loyal customers to Lowe’s and Menards during our home reno.

My 7th grade math teacher worked there part time. They said he wasn’t working… Whenever you get the chance ask for Mr. DeHart and hug him.

I just went to Home Depot to pick up some paint, but wasn’t sure exactly what color to get. Tina was behind the counter and helped me out a lot. She was funny, friendly, and went above and beyond with helping me find the perfect color, even though I was indecisive. I couldn’t ask for better service and I will definitely be going back again

Store review: Home depot vs. Lowe’s I have no idea which is better. At this point I will continue to find the lowest prices possible. Customer service is good if you can find a employee to ask your question too. Often it takes a bit of time to hunt someone down. They have a hassle free return policy. I unfortunately had to return a toilet plunger that did not plunge or work, a schlange lock that did not fit into my door and it was relatively painless. The lowe’s is slightly larger than this store though. Pros: large inventory Cons: difficulty to find helpful staff, lack of coupons Hidden deals: Sign up for the email or text club. Sometimes they will offer 5 dollar off 50 dollar coupons

Staffers were easy-to-find and helpful. We just needed a dowel rod(of which they had 15 different choices for the same length), so I can’t say we spent a ton of time in the store. Nonetheless, big thumbs-up on the self-checkout, abundance of female staffers, and avoidance of North Prospect(ie, all the crazy drivers and insane street engineering of that awful mall area — big boo for C-U). Again, nothing over-the-top wonderful for a fifth star.
