Brightmont Academy is an accredited 6^th-​12^th private school with a mission to provide one-​to-​one instruction to help students reach their full academic potential and prepare for college and career. At the center of the personalized learning approach is one-​to-​one instruction: One teacher works with one student to individualize learning pace, style, and goals. Students can enroll in a customized academic program on a flexible schedule and start any time of year. Brightmont also offers courses for credit, tutoring for grades 3 – 12, test preparation, and college and career assessment.

History

Established in 1999.

Brightmont Academy has served more than 2,500 students since 1999 and has campuses in Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Washington.

Veronica G.

Manager

Veronica Griffin, Campus Director

Veronica views the one-​to-​one instruction at Brightmont Academy as a highly effective method for students’ academic success and personal development and believes each Brightmont student can reach his or her potential. As a seasoned administrative leader, Veronica provides teachers with the tools to support each student’s individual goals. She builds community within the school environment by engaging students, parents, and educators.

Veronica has 25 years of experience in education at the K-​12 and college levels. She has been recognized as a leader in innovation and visionary education by Arizona State University and Chicago Public Schools.

Veronica earned master’s degrees in educational leadership from Arizona State University and curriculum and instruction from National Louis University. She also received a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
