I’ve been using Cactus Flowers for a few years, though somewhat infrequently. This is one of the few places left where you can walk into the cooler, choose what you like and have the staff help you make it look good and wrap it for you. While they have pre-​made arrangements as well, I enjoy helping to create the arrangement for my significant otter. They are always friendly and the beautiful arrangements are inexpensive. Love this place!

The flowers that were delivered to our friends are just beautiful and the recipient told me they are the prettiest flowers she has ever received. Thank you for making them so special!

We had a bouquet delivered from cactus flowers on Saturday 03÷26÷16. Here we are 5 days later, and the bouquet is still holding strong ! I’m so impressed! You better believe we will be doing more business with this company .

I’m writing this review because I am very impressed with the «after-​sale» service provided by the folks at Cactus Flowers. I had an arrangement gifted to me which didn’t perform to expectations and several blossoms were wilting soon after delivery. In fairness, i think it was because the water level had to be right to the top of the vase and since some stems were shorter than others, within one day some had already suffered because they couldn’t reach the water. While I think it’s probably important to have the stems a similar length so this doesn’t happen, I have had a very happy ending to my story. I phoned and informed them of my situation and they immediately sent a replacement bouquet which was even more beautiful than the first. That’s not typically the kind of consideration one would get from a small business and we will certainly use them again.

Found this place on Unilocal and they had a good variety of exotic and high end flowers to choose from. I got a good amount of flowers for a reasonable price I selected some individual flowers and they wrapped them up for me very nicely. Everyone was very nice and patient. A couple of days later and the flowers have bloomed beautifully. I will go back again in the future. I

I live in the Midwest, but wanted to surprise my best friend who lives in Arizona with her favorite flower (sunflowers) for her birthday. After not having any luck with the standard «order online» websites, I googled florists near her zip code. Cactus Flower came up, and had great reviews, so I called them.
I was helped by a woman named Alejandra. She was really friendly, patient, and thorough. I called Saturday night, and they were able to deliver the flowers on Monday, my friend’s birthday. She sent me a picture and I was really happy and pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the arrangement was. Had I ordered online, my only options would have been arrangements with 2 or 3 sunflowers surrounded by other flowers, but this one had at least 10 healthy looking flowers surrounded by beautiful greens. I uploaded a picture of the bouquet onto here.
I’m really happy I called Cactus Flower, and that they were able to help me surprise my best friend even from the other side of the country.

I come here frequently for the variety of flowers available and the great sale on Friday (50% off all flowers from 12 – 4). However, many times the flowers are breathing their last breath and die shortly after taking them out of the cooler at the shop. Usually I don’t mind as much because I got them on sale.
However, Tuesday 5÷19÷15, my husband bought me a beautiful bouquet from this location for our anniversary. Within 24 hours, all of the blue flowers in the bouquet (which made up several of the stems), had fallen off and into a big mess on the kitchen floor and counter. When you pay so much for flowers, you should at least get ONE day out of them! (See picture)
Also, not everyone here is as friendly. I’d come in one morning looking to purchase flowers for my grandmothers 80^th birthday, which was around Easter time, and the woman made it very clear that I was an inconvenience and said that they wouldn’t have time to arrange the flowers I’d picked out into a bouquet because I didn’t call ahead of time. My only option was to pay for one of their over priced pre-​arranged bouquets (which I did… $ 64.99 for TULIPS – the cheapest flower next to carnations) or leave with loose, un-​arranged flowers.
Usually I go to just get flowers for my house, which is fine. But the next time I need to get them as a gift, I’ll not be going here.

In regards to corsages and boutonnières since it is prom season. I don’t recommend this place to buy your corsages/​boutonieres. When I went to pick up the boutoniere, it was the size of my finger. I ordered the mini roses (standard) and was expected something more elegant and larger? Instead I received two tiny tiny roses. My friend got an orchid boutoniere, which was a bit larger, but still small. I suggest another flower shop that will give you a nicer and better looking boutoniere. However, I do love their friendly staff and their various flower selections. Just not the best place when choosing your C&B’s.

You’d never think ordering flowers to be delivered to your mom from CACTUS FLOWER for Mother’s Day would spark a TERRIFYING situation. Yesterday, the flowers my sister and I ordered for our mom were delivered to her home around 10am. My mom was obviously unaware that these flowers were being delivered, as it was a surprise, so she was not prepared for someone to ring her doorbell that morning. When she went to the door, she saw a man through the peep hole but did not answer the door. My mom does not answer the door for strangers when she is home alone. The man then proceeded to slide a paper through the crack in the door and got in his car and drove away. My mom figured he was just a salesman leaving his business info so she opened the door to retrieve what he left and saw that there were flowers sitting on the ground. This man was delivering flowers and the paper he left was a «sorry we missed you» delivery notice from Cactus Flowers. My mom brought the flowers inside and went on about her business. About 5 minutes later, this man is back at my mom’s door. This time he is pounding his fist on the door, yelling and screaming, calling my mother by name and asking her to open her front door. When my mom did not answer, the man got back in his car and left. Another few minutes after that, the man comes back again. He starts pounding on the door again and screaming things to my mom such as, «OPEN YOUR DOOR!» «I NEED TO TALK TO YOU RIGHT NOW!» «YOU NEED TO OPEN YOUR DOOR RIGHT THIS MINUTE!» «YOU NEED TO LET ME IN!» As this is happening, my mom is on the phone with me because, as luck would have it, I had called her to tell her I was on my way over. As she is telling me what’s going on, I can hear this man in the background banging on the front door and screaming at the top of his lungs for my mom. When I pulled up to the front of the house, the man was getting back into his car and looked as though he was leaving so I followed him through the neighborhood. He blew through a few stop signs to try and get away from me but I managed to get his license plate number and a description of his vehicle. I called Cactus Flower, the location on Alma School, and explained how completely creeped out we were. Who knows what that man was capable of doing or what he even wanted from my mom in the first place!!! The employee I spoke with told me they were using «temporary» drivers and she apologized. She looked up the order confirmation and found the driver. The employee tried making me feel better by telling me that this driver was «non-​threatening» and had been with the company for years. She told me she was going to give him a stern talking to. Um, what?! Are you kidding me?! I explained to the employee how freaked out my mom was (she was crying and shaking) and how close we were to calling the police and how inappropriate this man was acting when all he should have done was deliver the flowers and leave. There was no need for him to pound on the door and scream and carry on like that for as long as he did. What did he want!!! Maybe I watch too much Dateline, but this man was extremely creepy and should be fired! My advice is that if you are going to order flowers from Cactus Flower, pick them up yourself. Do not let something like this happen to you! I have a very strong feeling this man would have tried harming my mom had she opened the door. BUYERS BEWARE! PLEASE!

Still one of the best florist in town. I order from these guys all the time or I drop in and pick up a fresh bouquet. I have always been impressed but this time was different. The roses didn’t look as good, the bouquet didn’t pop as normal & the rose buds were already open. I will still use these guys but I hope they return to the level of EXCEPTIONAL products I have grown accustomed too and can’t find anywhere in the valley.

I must say that I really enjoy coming here.
The lovely staff that works here are very friendly and have helped me put together some amazing arrangements that my girlfriend have absolutely loved.
I am a fan of putting together my own arrangements instead of purchasing the pre-​made arrangements. I enjoy adding my personal touch.
Their flowers are great in quality and are always fresh, always bright and always in good shape.
I greatly appreciate the ladies here who assist me and look forward to coming back many more times.

Every time I go here the people are so nice friendly and helpful. On Fridays 50% off of loose flowers makes it a great deal. They really try their hardest and darndest to make your experience there a good one. They deserve our business!

I stumbled upon this florist while trying to find orchids for my fiancée. I called a couple of other florists regarding price and availability. When I called Cactus Flower the initial price was cheaper than the others I called, and they were located off of the same street I live on. When I found the store I was impressed by the large selection of flowers. I was even more happy to find a sign that read orchid sale. Score! I asked what that meant. The sale was for orchids in a pot, which isn’t wasn’t what I wanted. I asked about other orchids and the return question asked what kind? I gave a blank stare. She narrowed it down to two kinds of orchids available, which I cannot even list here because the terminology was so foreign I just heard long words that I cannot remember. My inner monologue turned to Butthead and thought «uuuhh…I’m a dude…». Somehow we picked one.
We walked in the cooler and she picked out the flowers. She said oh, and it’s happy hour! My inner voice perked up again and added «Dang right it is!» I know what happy hour meant to me, but what does it mean for a flower shop? So I asked. «What does that mean?». As it turns out, from 12 – 5 it was 50% cash and carry — so the price I thought was already good was now half price. Since I already had an budget in mind that meant more flowers — so I added more orchids and 12 roses — mostly red, but they had a variety of roses so I mixed it up.
Leaving the store the lady wrapped them up very nicely. She told me promise me that I will take these straight home and/​or not leave them in the hot car. She said if I am not going straight home, take them with me. She didn’t care if I was going in the manliest place on earth (or at least Chandler) — she said walk in with them like I was Miss America. I elected to go home first and drop them off before going out to do my normal manly routines.
I was very pleased with my find and experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in helping me with the selection. I will return here again rather than order a mail-​order in a box like I used to do.

I ordered flowers late day Sunday… they still arrived mid-​day Monday. Of course I paid for that to happen, but typical service providers will wait until the very last second of the day to deliver.
Then, when my friend sent me the picture of what she received… not only did it look like the picture of what I picked out, it was actually BETTER than the picture! Again, exceeded expectations!
Would I recommend? Absolutely:)

very disappointed. I ordered flowers for my boyfriend who has been in the hospital for a week and was having surgery today. I ordered the flowers yesterday and paid extra money to have them be delivered before noon… Of course I did that on purpose so he would get them before surgery… NOT only did they come 5 hours late they came while he was in surgery and while I was in his room waiting for him. Thanks for ruining the surprise and the whole purpose and the flowers look like they are days old and won’t last long …

I was searching for a local florist to send flowers to my mom in Sun Lakes. I found Cactus Flower Florists from the good reviews on Unilocal and took a chance. I was pleased with how easy it was to order online a beautiful arrangement for delivery Mother’s Day weekend. They delivered on the day that they promised and I saw a photo of what they delivered and it looked quite similar to the photo on the website. I was pleased with their service and will look to them again if the need arises.

I called from out of state on a Friday afternoon to send get well flowers to a relative in Chandler. The beautiful arrangement was delivered the following Saturday morning before noon! Excellent service! I would highly recommend Cactus Flower.

Went online around 11:00 am and ordered this flower arrangement for a birthday delivery the same day. Good price, delivered as promised, very easy to deal with their website. Completely satisfied, will use them again

I needed to send flowers for a family who lost a loved one and was hoping for a 24 hour turn around so that I caught the family before they had to leave town for the funeral.
Boy did Cactus Flowers STEP IT UP. Amazing!
