We come to this location quite frequently. Service is always quick and friendly. Sometimes there is a line out the door so plan wisely. Store is small, not a ton of places to sit. This location always seems clean and well stocked. No matter how busy they get, the employees are still friendly and offer tastes of different ice cream. Will always return here!

I really like Cold Stone Creamery’s. However, the one at Casa Paloma really needs to take measures to handle the huge influx of customers nightly. I cannot think of one night that I have ever been in that the door isn’t being held open by a customer’s foot and the line is out the door to the curb. Yes, that IS a good thing, however, with only 2 employees working, it just moves entirely too slow. Rest assured that if you are 5 – 6 people back in line the wait is at least 20 minutes. If you are at the curb it will be at least an hour! There are two stations for prepping ice cream there and I have never once seen the other station open so that these people can work faster with more employees. I was there three weeks ago and everyone was so bothered that they all began to leave. Myself included. As people were walking to their cars, the conversations overheard were all the same, «this place is entirely too busy for them to always only have two employees!» I think the owner really needs to know about this. As a business owner, I’m sure the question is always, «would it be cost beneficial to add another employee or two?» The answer is yes! In this case, yes! You are essentially turning people away. I watched over 15 people leave one night. At $ 6 average each ice cream that is approx. $ 90 that walked away in 3 minutes. And keep in mind that was only what I witnessed. This happens several times a night. We drive by and check the line before we ever get out of the car. Let’s just say that Baskin Robbins in Ahwatukee gets a LOT of business because of this. –Hopeful for faster service soon

Blearrgghhhh. This place was unsatisfying. I’d rather not come to this location again. Here’s why: When my mother and I arrived there on Friday night, this place was teeming with customers. We found a long line of people leading from the cash register. Assuming that this place was popular for their ice cream, we took our place in line. We had a Buy One Get One coupon for Cold Stone, and we purchased two scoops of ice cream for about $ 3.50. The quality of the ice cream? The worst of the worst. My mother purchased a scoop of Strawberry Mango Sherbet with strawberries and blueberries, while I ate a simple Skinny Vanilla with sprinkles. The Skinny Vanilla that I ate? Tedious taste. There was no taste of vanilla or even a hint of sweetness in that ice cream. To add to that, the texture of the ice cream was stiff.(In fact, I was able to pick up the entire scoop with my tiny spoon without it collapsing.) My mother’s ice cream had a texture similar to butter; the flavor was overwhelmingly sweet. The service stayed mediocre, but the majority of the ice cream went to the trashcan. I usually enjoy the ice cream in Cold Stone locations I visit, but I prefer a completely different location from this one.

I had a taste for some ice cream so I decided to go to the infamous Cold Stone. Every time I go I get the Cheesecake Fantasy(my favorite by far). Today I wanted to try something new. My mom is always ranting and raving about the Founder’s Favorite so I decided to try it. It consist of rich vanilla ice cream, pecans, caramel, fudge, and a fresh brownie. I must say this is a close second in my group of favorites. The service was great! There was a long line when I first entered, but I got my ice cream within 5 minutes. Nice, neat, and clean area. They also have a small outside dining area. Overall this was a great Ice Cream experience and i will definitely be back for more!

We came over here after a nice dinner for dessert. Showed up to a long line, they were fairly quick, but some of the people I was with needed to use the restroom and we’re not able due to the fact that a boy had peed all over the floors and there was a line since it had not been cleaned. When the problem was addressed to one of the employee’s they ignored my concern and said that there is a long line. The bathroom should be addressed since there is also a line there. Upon checking out, the Asian male cashier was rude when we wanted to split the payment. I would definitely think twice before returning to this establishment.

Mmmmm ice cream. Mixed with just about anything you want. I knew this location was close to where I live but I have never been here before. I usually go to the Tempe Marketplace location after a movie and get Birthday Cake Remix. I did neither one of those this time. My girlfriend mentioned that she had Cold Stone for dinner on the way to a Unilocal event. I was jealous. I wanted ice cream too. Sounded really good. Then I remembered this location was right down the street so off I went. I got mint ice cream with a chocolate brownie and fudge sauce mixed in. So good. A little drippy and messy but that is part of it. One minor thing was right when I walked in no one was up front. I stood there for a little bit then a family walked in. We both stood there for a little while longer. Then someone came up to help us. We didn’t wait too long. Probably not a minute but just a little thing of leaving people standing there for a little bit. Not a big deal at all to me. It was to the woman behind me who had the child who wanted this and this and that. The nice person who just help me turned around for just a second and got an «Excuse me. We were next.» from this lady. How dare she turn around for a second. That lady needed to calm down. Some people. She just turned around for a second and this lady thought she was going to run away on her. Nothing makes another human being feel good like being summoned to serve you. Relax. Now if she walked away for another minute or was chatting with a friend or other employee or texting or something instead of doing her job then you might be justified with your Excuse me but otherwise calm down. They may be there to serve you but they are not your servants. Have some respect for another human being. Unless they aren’t respecting you in the first place. Let’s all have some ice cream.

Great ice cream! Everyone loves ice cream! Except terrorists. If you’re a terrorist, you wont like this place.

Well, unfortunately I have to take them down a star because Cold Stone stopped serving sugar-free(Splenda) ice cream. Not very fair for their diabetic customers such as my husband. I will say though, as further evidence that this location is much better than the others, we asked about the Splenda ice cream(they called it «sinless») at two other locations and they just looked at us like we had two heads. At least this store had a few employees that had been there longer than a couple months and were able to tell us that corporate had made the decision to no longer serve it at all. They do still have a «sinless» shake, though.

Love this Cold Stone if only for the fact that around the time you would be leaving dinner in one of the close restaurants, the strip mall this location is in is basically shut down. We didn’t have any wait whatsoever.

I have had mixed results with this place. Sometimes the ice cream is more like just cream. It’s soft. In addition, I think the owner must take off and let the high school kids run the whole operation. Sometimes the service is just terrible…

I wouldn’t normally review such a large ice cream chain, but I have to say that I had such a pleasant experience there this very afternoon. I was out running a errand and I was craving a sweet treat and I knew there was a cold stone around the corner. As I am walking up thinking to myself that I really don’t want all the calories I hope they have a low cal option. It was as if someone answered my prayers and it was right on their front door«Tart Berry» only 25 calories a serving. PERFECT! I go in and say to the nice man behind the counter that I would like a Tart Berry… he then tells me what a funny coincidence because they literally just set this new ice cream machine up. So I was the very first person to try Tart Berry at Cold Stone Creamery(well at least at this store in Chandler)… they have all the fresh fruit toppings and granola etc that you can put on yourself. It was just what I needed. When I went to pay they gave it to me for free! Awesome. Well needless to say my experience there put a big smile on my face.
