CPR Cell Phone Repair

If you ever have a cracked cell phone, iPad, a malfunctioning screen or drop any of these devices in water (and if you have children under the age of 8, you may empathize) You should stop by the CPR (Cell Phone Repair) in Chandler. The service I receive time and again has been friendly, professional, honest and very helpful. Their prices are fair and they assess every broken device I bring to them. They have fixed 2 of our iPad airs, an iPhone 6 and an iPhone 4. Mike the owner, Phil and Oscar (yes, I know them by name now, lol), have helped me and my family many times over the last year. Thank you and we’ll be back (but hopefully not too soon)! ;)

If there was a zero-​star score, I’d select it. One star implies a paltry quantity of decency — CPR Bell Phone Repair has NONE.
Ignore the falsified-​positive reviews here and go check them out on the Better Business Bureau website. It says it all right there.
Run, don’t walk, RUN away from these guys! Dishonest, incompetent and rude. You’ve been warned.

As bad as it gets. They do not truly honor their warranty and customer service is worst I have ever experienced. I asked for the owners number and they wouldn’t give it to me. Any problems … Beware!!!

For those who have reduced personal need and esteem someone to yell to you –strongly suggest to refer to this location. Required to purchase Apple iphone Iphone and 5 4 rechargers for my kids’ cell phones. If they sell them and the prices– the guy yelled that I shouldn’t call his store and ask prices, called to ask. Certain, no worries! !! Excellent business structure — friend.

This place has horrible service. Expensive, and they couldn’t even fix my iPhone. Took them forever to get back to me and when I came back in to get my phone, there was chewed up gum stuck to the back of it.

Oscar and Warren were fantastic! They knew exactly what I needed to fix my Samsung Galaxy 4 and were able to do the repair in less than 3 hours. My phone looked brand new when I picked it up!

Fast and friendly service. Took my samsung galaxy 3 tablet in because it wasn’t charging. Charging port was bad. Cost $ 55 and took about an hour. If they couldn’t fix it they weren’t going to charge me. I’m happy with the service.

I only gave one star because I had too. Very rude. Wouldn’t even look at Mt phone to tell me what they’d buy it for but said «won’t be much.» Called after I left to notify the manager and he told me that I could call corpoate but that’d I’d have to find their number on my own. Terrible

The. Worst experience ever!!! Two hundred later and three days later and the phone still doesn’t work and on top of that it isn’t even my phone they gave back they tried to tell me it was my phone but in the phone it says «dans phone… Which is NOT my name.

For $ 170 Nathan said he could fix the charge port and the crack in the glass too. I really didn’t care about the crack. Tuesday went by and no phone call. Wednesday I called and he said he had to get a part from the Phoenix store. Thursday no call. I called them. Now he said they needed to order a part and it would be in first thing Saturday. 2pm Saturday and no call. This company never made any calls to me. From a repair that was going to take a few hours to 5 days. Not a good sign.
Nathan said sorry we can’t figure out what is wrong. We’ll refund $ 35 of the $ 170. You are telling me you are charging me to replace the glass on a phone that doesn’t work?
Stay away. They didn’t fix anything and charged me.
Looked up Better Business Bureau. CPR has a F rating. No BBB accreditation.

After much troubleshooting, we decided that my S3 needed a professional to fix the charging issue. Took it to CPR. They diagnosed it saying the charging port had come loose from the board. Left it with them for several hours. Picked it up and it appeared to work. Paid $ 65. Later that night, it stopped working again (it wasn’t recognizing that it was attached to a charger). The guy on the phone said he remembered my phone and that I could bring it back the next day, which I did.
On the 2^nd visit in, I was told that the tech that worked on my phone was not their best tech and did not do a good job. They said that the good tech fixed it correctly this time and I was good to go (covered under the warranty).
All was good for about a week, then it stopped working again.
3^rd visit: Took it back. They fixed it again (said they were resoldering it back to the board). This time, they said that it was my fault it was coming off, despite my telling them it had not been dropped or mishandled in anyway (I was careful before, I was overly careful after).
Fast forward 2 weeks. It stops working AGAIN!
This time, I took it somewhere else. They said the port itself was faulty and replaced it. They also said the board was BADLY DAMAGED from all the soldering done by the previous shop (CPR).
So here I am, $ 65 to CPR, $ 45 to the new place, and a damaged phone from CPR’s bad work. Yes, cheaper than a new phone, but come on. CPR could have done a better job from day one, but they did not. They damaged my phone, now I can’t get it fixed or warrantied properly from any where else.
I’m not a happy camper.
I don’t recommend CPR.

The screen on my Samsung Galaxy S3 was flashing yellow after I dropped it. As I use my cellphone for work I needed to have it repaired ASAP. I brought it to CPR where I dealt with Darren, who was very helpful as well as extremely knowledgable, they had the screen in stock and replaced it in no time. My phone has worked perfectly ever since, I would have no hesitation in recommending CPR, I also found the location near the mall to be convenient too.

They could not fix my water logged iPhone. Ok, understandable. Sold me a refurbished iPhone 4 (a downgrade for me but that was all that was available) but that phone stopped working 2 months later. Took it to a local Apple store. They fixed it for free and said there was a screw missing that held the battery and antenna in place which became disconnected. Thanks for taking my $$ guys!

WOW! The worst experience ever. After the 2^nd failed attempt to fix my ipod, I was told that the warranty was no longer valid. Upon asking for a manager, I spoke to the «manager» Lamont who began telling me that he was «going to set the tone for the conversation.» He was the most unprofessional and rude person I have spoken to. Upon asking for his managers information, he said, «now you’re going to call my manager and tell him how rude and unprofessional I was.» The manager was condescending and arrogant. This company will gladly take your money knowing that that there is no solution. They will then belittle you until you leave. Unless you want to be abused and to waste money, I would not go there.
Almost forgot. I was also told that Unilocal is becoming obsolete to consumers. Would love everyone’s opinion on this.

Wow! I would recommend this business without hesitation!!! My son dropped his iPhone, cracked the back and it completely stopped working. We took it to Apple, who told us it was not repairable, then to our carrier, Verizon, who recommended CPR. We begrudgingly headed over there as a last ditch effort to avoid shelling out hundreds of $$ to replace it. Darren, with CPR, immediately said let me take a look at it in the back. Within minutes, he came back with our phone working! Out mouths are still hanging open! Both exemplary employees we came in contact with were extremely professional, knowledgable, and friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend this business!

THEY STOLE $ 20 FROM ME!!! Yeah, that is right, they took a $ 20 bill that I had snuggled between my case and taped to the back of my iPhone. When I dropped the phone off, I told the representative I had $ 20 taped between my cell phone and my case.
I returned to pick up my phone the same representative who helped me before was there, yet my $ 20 was gone. I asked about where the money was, he claimed he didn’t know anything about it. I threatened to contact management about it, then he quickly changed his tone. He told me that the owner’s son is kind of a loser, and was in the back part of the store while my phone was being worked on, so he must have stolen the $ 20. When I demanded my money back, the representative then took a $ 20 bill out of his wallet and gave it to me in return for the theft.
If they are going to steal $ 20 from me in open daylight, what do you think they are going to do with your phone when you bring it in for repair or service? Do you have sensitive data on your phone? Maybe you have credit card information, SSN, or data that any thief would love to get his hands on?
Perhaps one should consider my experience with CPR Cell Phone Repair.
On top of it, they wouldn’t even give me a 15% discount for doing this Unilocal review like the 4 people who rated this company before me. ;-)

CPR did what Verizon couldn’t. My phone had water damage and Verizon said too bad lady. I left frustrated but luckily found CPR. The staff of CPR could teach Verizon a lesson in cust svc! CPR has the equipment and expertise that allowed them to get my contacts off a phone that doesn’t have a sim card. Verizon said the contacts were lost forever, too bad. CPR said sure no problem. They even loaded them onto my new phone. Awesome work guys, thanks!

I had the best customer svc at this awesome business. The owner is dedicated to his customers and has hired well qualified professional that offer superb svc. We will tell all our friends to come here!
