Crosswinds Apartments

So far, so good. Been there for a month and have yet to see a single roach or bug as mentioned in so many of the other reviews. Maybe they’re not as bad when it’s this cold out? Rent seems fair and management easy to work with. It tends to get a little bit noisy as our unit is right up the stairs from the playground. One neighbor has a young child constantly running back and forth across the shared balcony and playing/​stomping on the stairs, but I guess that’s apartment living for ya. The complex can’t really be blamed for people’s children. Other than kids, I haven’t found it to be very noisy and so far all of the neighbors that I’ve encountered have been friendly. Will update as time goes by.

Cockroaches everywhere… Carpet has little nails sticking out of it so it pocked my feet why walking… Horrible staff, there just rude! And don’t care about your stay at the crosswinds. Usually office staff any where else try’s to make sure your comfortable and satisfied with everything. The staff here in the office just doesn’t care… Couldn’t leave my food out. Found a cockroach in my refrigerator drawer! Disgusting! Floor was not evened out. When me and my boyfriend had enough we went to talk to the office staff and the lady in there just rolled her eyes. Ha! Pathetic. I’ll be complaining to the city of Chandler… Since we all know those lady’s in the office will try and fuck us over. Maybe next time warn people about the horrible cockroaches and you might not get a bad review or 1 star ;) oh and btw I’m 5 months pregnant … Really makes me upset that we asked them over and over again if this place was infested with cockroaches and they lied to us. Horrible. Please don’t live here!

I will first start off saying that this place and the ENTIRE downtown Chandler is infested with roaches! This apartment is also infested with roaches and they are just everywhere. We have had to throw away hundreds in food and even our cat has taken to hunting down these roaches. Spraying does not help neither does the bombing. This place is too much money for the condition of the apartments. I would recommend to stay away from here. They will charge you up the wall for even the rent being late. The studio is not even worth 500 dollars. I dont even get why its this much money. The management needs to realize that us who dont make so much money cannot afford to spend 500 something on a stupid small roach infested apartment that is in the ghetto of Chandler.

When I moved into this apartment complex not even 24 hours after signing my lease I was greeted by roaches. I called the office within minutes after cleaning them up that I needed someone to come and spray the apartment. I was told I would have to wait until Friday May 8^th (6 days) for them to come out. I called them again 6 days later to make sure I was on the list. I called them about 5 days later for more live roaches scurrying in the apartment I was told again I would have to wait until Friday May 15^th for them to spray (2 days). I walked into the office with 2 witnesses advising them of newly hatched roach babies all over under my kitchen sink as well as several adults. They then decided to fumigate the apartment. Meanwhile, I had to pack up my stuff, grab my small dog and find a place to sleep. I called them on May 19^th advising them I could no longer live at this apartment complex. They fumigated the apartment on Friday the 22^nd. I walked into the apartment on May 24^th (2 days after they fumigated) to gather the rest of my things I found more live roaches and this time could snap a photo of it, the babies were too small for the resolution. I had to sleep with the lights on… I was forced by the roaches to leave the complex and find somewhere else to live because they were everywhere. I lived in that apartment regretfully for 19 days. The manager name is Holly. She seemed to have an attitude which my witnesses agreed with me on that part as soon as we walked into the office. I feel that I have been cheated out of my money for a place that is unlivable. My work had suffered. My stress levels are out of the roof. I just want my deposit back and be let out of the lease. I have thrown hundreds of dollars worth of food away. I had to move all my stuff out of the apartment in not even a month. Moving isn’t cheap. I will pursue with legal actions if necessary but I am hoping I do not have to. If I do it will be for everything I have had to throw away, moving expenses, and my deposit.

I was very excited and interested in these apartments. When I went to check them out the guy was a complete asshole and all he kept saying was he knows nothing about these apartments he’s a fill in. He couldn’t even say the word oven he called it «that thing» he couldn’t even answer any of the questions I had for him. I was like why is he even there? We just left. I would never want to rent from a place so unprofessional. I’m highly disappointed with the way he acted he didn’t even know about the pricing and when I asked if it’s a safe area he said I don’t know but u could call chandler police and ask. Never scene a leasing office so unprofessional before!
