Dance Matrix provides an excellent dance education in a caring and compassionate environment. Our family friendly atmosphere is unique, and it encourages the growth and development of each student. Our instructors and staff are dedicated to providing each and every student with exceptional technique, while instilling a love and enjoyment of dance. We strive to embrace the individuality each dance student brings to our classes, and we take personal interest in the progress they make as dancers. At Dance Matrix, students will encounter a fun, stimulating experience that will include dancing, performing, and the satisfaction of accomplishment in a non-​competitive environment. We inspire not only proper dance technique through positive reinforcement, but also self-​esteem, poise, and the gratification of achievement.

History

Established in 2012.

Dance Matrix Chandler was opened in September 2012 with 30+ dance classes in ballet, hip hop, contemporary, jazz, tap, musical theatre, tumbling, and combo. Dance Matrix Performing Company starts in January 2014.

Meet the Manager

Lindsey C.

Manager

Lindsey has been dancing for over 20 years, receiving her earliest ballet training in Tucson, Arizona. She is well versed in ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary technique, and has received her dance education through studios in Tucson and University of Arizona faculty. She has studied under ballet greats such as Judith Carlson, Stephanie Stigers, Nina Janik, and the late George Zoritch. Lindsey was a principal dancer with Ballet Continental in southern Arizona where she performed lead roles in La Sylphide, The Nutcracker, and Sleeping Beauty. She continued her dance training at Arizona State University, concentrating in ballet and modern, while teaching to youngsters in studios and schools around the East valley. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in education and dance in 2010, and has been teaching in high schools ever since. In addition to her role as director at Dance Matrix, Lindsey is proud to be the dance teacher and dance company director at Basha High School.
