From the creators of Thrive Acai Bowls we bring you Genuine Fresche! Our specialty is the amazing acai bowl. A smoothie mixture of acai, mixed frozen fruits, and fresh nut butters blended together then topped with granola, fresh fruits, nuts and a drizzle of honey. We also offer delicious smoothies, fresh pressed juices and protein shakes.

History

Established in 2011.

Originally established as Thrive Acai Bowls and Smoothies in Gilbert, AZ in May of 2011. In order to prepare for expansion out of state, we have rebranded to the Genuine Fresche name. We are a locally owned, family run, small business.

Business Owner

Brad and Marcy’s lives were changed several years ago when they discovered that you could heal the body through food. This all started when they were able to help their youngest child overcome some major health issues as a baby by simply changing his diet. This experience led to a lifelong commitment of healthy eating and living. As their 7 children grew older they were frustrated that they could never find a place to take their family to eat where they could trust everything on the menu.

They were first introduced to acai bowls in California in 2010 and quickly began plans to bring this concept to Arizona. This eventually led them to open the first Thrive in Gilbert, AZ in 2011 and then a 2^nd location in Tempe, AZ in 2013. As Thrive began to grow in popularity they quickly realized the need to broaden their vision and prepare to expand to new markets. In an effort to avoid brand confusion they created the Genuine Fresche brand and the Chandler location opened in 2014.
