History
Established in 2006.
When I was in college I started working in the restaurant business and fell in love with it. I loved the excitement, the people, and the satisfaction of customers leaving content. This enjoyment sent me working for National Chains for fifteen years, and then into Food Distribution for ten years. While in the Food Distribution business I met Nick Heddings owner of Arizona Pizza Company in Tucson. Nick and I became close friends and I shared with him my desire and to get back in the restaurant business. It is Nick’s encouragement and great pizza recipe that I am eternally grateful for.
Thank you,
Terry Black
The name of Jimmy & Joe’s comes from my son Russell’s nick name Jimmy and mine Joe.
Our desire is for the community to feel like this is their neighborhood pizzeria. We are active in our schools, churches and community organizations and we donate over 10% to Charities each year.
Meet the Business Owner
Terry B.
Business Owner
I have been in the restaurant business for over twenty years. Some of the restaurants I’ve worked for are; The Intersection in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Choo Choo’s on 4th ave in Tucson, The Rusty Scupper-Tucson & Cleveland Ohio. El Torito-Tucson, Paradise Piñata-Scottsdale, Cisco’s Mexican Restaurant, Moxie’s– owned by Chart House, Bobby Rubino’s in Chicago. In 1991 I opened my own Mexican restaurant in Naperville, Illinois called Cisco’s, and now Jimmy & Joe’s Pizzeria. Between the Naperville, Illinois restaurant and my current Jimmy & Joe’s I worked in food distribution for Sysco, Ameriserve and Mutlifoods/Vistar which is now called Roma foods.
I love the restaurant business and think I have found my niche with Jimmy & Joe’s Pizzeria. I hope to open more locations so keep and eye out for us.
