Walked in to get my cruise control fixed on my jeep commander. After a $ 50 diagnose and 20 minutes later they were able to confirm what the issue was. And quickly ordered the part and gave me a ride to home. In just two short hours my jeep was back in business. The only minor complaint is my clock was not reprogrammed.

Came in to get my bulb replaced for my headlight. Joe was a tremendous help and I was In and out in 10 minutes. He was kind enough to help while he was taking his lunch break. Easy to find, lots of parking. $ 10 off your service with the Unilocal checkin.

After I had worked on installing a new tail light on my jeep, it was not working properly — break light and signal worked but when head lights on it did not work. After being told by Earnhardt Jeep that I needed an appointment and they would not be able to get me in for 5 days, I stopped in Joe’s Auto. They got me right in, took off the wheel, side plate to access, and re-​wired the light harness due to ground being in wrong position. Manager came out and told me it was all fixed — all in about 30 min, and did not charge me for it — he just asked for my future oil change business since I live down the road! FANTASTIC! I shook his hand and told him thank you!!! WOW — what a great surprise! I will definitely be returning to Joe’s Auto — great guys in there!

Rip Off Alert… I took my corolla here for normal oil & filter change. They called me hours later & said I needed several fluids changed. The brake/​power steering/​tranny fluids. I agreed to the services & paid for them. Well I took my vehicle to a Toyota dealer for new tires a month later & the dealership told me that none of the fluids were ever changed on my car. They were original from the purchase of the car. The dealership showed me how dirty all the fluids were & showed me what the clean fluids should look like. I reported them to the BBB. So thankful I married a mechanic :)

I’m not one to leave bad reviews to hurt a business but this place is very shady! I brought my car in for an oil change and while there they said I needed a new U-​Joint immediately because if it goes, it could ruin my whole drivetrain. The guy even showed me where it was cracking (the rubber on the U-​Joint). I said I was going to have it second checked since the car is still fairly new and he gave a weird vibe. I was quoted about $ 800 for this, got a second opinion (by two guys at Midas) and there is nothing wrong with my U-​joint!!! On top of that, they tried to charge me for 6 quarts of oil, I’ve never been charged that and the coupon is for up to 5 which is standard. If u come here and they say u need something, definitely get a second opinion.

Let me start off by saying I am a female. I find it extremely frustrating taking my car to have work done and feel as though I am always taken advantage of since I don’t know what I am talking about with cars. The guys at Joe’s seemed nice and trustworthy, (mistake #1). I have a Saturn and have had multiple issues with it. I had brought it to Joes a few times and finally came to the realization they were charging me WAY too much (mistake #2). The last issue they had tried to charge me OVER $ 900 for a timing belt replacement after I told them how this car has made me broke with all the costly repairs. I called the Chevy dealer in town and they told me $ 450. I have now spent over 2 grand at Joes and probably for nothing. I feel used and mistreated. They should be ashamed to treat women and in general people this way in these economic times.

Stay away! !!!
Brought truck in for oil change special and they told me I needed whole new pan due to stripped plug for over a $ 1000!!! I called my regular mechanic (going to him for over 5 years) and he laughed and said no way in hell! STAY AWAY!
Go talk to owner at nearby Indian restaurant he had similar experience but ended up trusting them and paying for new transmission which he did not need!

I went n got an oil change. And they broke my door knob, when I told them, The Manager made up several different reasons NOT to repair/​fix it. He took my vin # n & phone #, then NEVER called back!.. Do NOT go here & do NOT let them touch your vehicle!!!

Don’t trust Joe’s
My wife went to Joe’s to have the accessory socket fuse replaced in our 2010 Honda Fit. She was told it was extremely hard to get to and charged 47+ dollars to replace the fuse. It promptly burnt out again (no fault of Joe’s) and I took to dealer who did it in 5 minutes charging me 2.21 for fuse and 0 for labor. I confronted the manager at Joe’s regarding this charge stating that 47+ dollars was ridiculous given the circumstance and amount of work. I was told that is minimum charge for electrical diagnostic stating that my wife said something was wrong but she didn’t know what. In actuality, she told them exactly what the car needed (fuse) so no diagnostic needed. I asked for a 30.00 refund which was refused and was offered an oil change of which I refused telling the manager I don’t trust them. I feel these people are not to be trusted and took advantage of my wife

I wish I had been smart and read these reviews before bringing my car in to Joe’s Auto. They did exactly what each of the reviewers said.
A coupon says 1 thing and Joe’s charges you another!
The mechanic said very matter of fact, «we will change out (this and that)… that will be $ 1300». I was floored! I just needed an oil change!
These guys are terrible actors too. I could tell immediately they were screwing with me. I stuck to my guns… Mostly. I still got stuck with a bill twice as much as what I had planned on.
Advising everyone to check Unilocal!Reviews before bringing your car into a shop. Especially if it involves a coupon! Beware!

BEWARE of JOE’S AUTO IN CHANDLER! BAIT AND SWITCH ADVERTISING! I got an ad in the mail for a general maintenance special. I called 1st, and verified the deal… Took it in and then was informed by «the manager» that it would be $ 200 additional in parts plus extra labor. So their ad got me in the door and they NEARLY DOUBLED THE PRICE. without even looking at the vehicle. The manager tried to tell me that if they did the work for the advertised price, that
” They’d be giving ME money! «What a douche… I should have figured something was up… 9 AM and they weren’t working on even one car! All the bays were empty. AVOID! I should have read the other reviews before wasting my time at Joe’s Auto.
