Kyrene Urgent Care

I went last year and reviewed on Foursquare, just now writing my Unilocal review.
Was very unhappy with the service here. Went in after a really bad sinus infection was causing me to cough like I’ve never before, and the sickness lasted way longer than any illness I have had and was starting to get concerned.
The wait was ridiculous. I’m not sure if it was understaffed, but it seemed that there was only one person working patients. I waited nearly an hour with only one other person in the waiting room. The wait itself wouldn’t be too bad, but I was informed it would be about 15 minutes when I signed in and the front desk person continued to state it ‘wouldn’t be too long’. I could have left and gone anywhere else in the same amount of time. If you know you’re very behind, at least be honest with me.
When I finally made it to the back, the provider did not even listen to my concerns and immediately diagnosed me and handed me a prescription. If I simply just wanted antibiotics or other drugs, I could go to a CVS Minute Clinic and spend a lot less money. As I was leaving, I coughed and the provider seemed surprised and asked if I had asthma, I sounded so terrible and wheezy. I do not have asthma. The provider simply shrugged it off and that was it. This emphasized how little the provider listened to me, to my concerns, to what antibiotics I’d already taken or any medical history.
I could have gone anywhere else for a lot less money, a lot less time, and a lot better care and attention than what I received here. I was so furious at what a waste of time and money this was. I do genuinely hope that the other reviewer is right and this place has closed.

Their closed. Move to gilbert, excellent service worth the 10 minute drive to almaschool and queen creek

Decided to go here because I generally like the providers here. I see some of the same providers at my pcp office. The bummer was that I waited until 10 am for it to open then when I got there, the doc wasn’t there. Supposedly she had a flat tire and wasn’t going to be in till 12:00pm. I understand that things happen but unfortunately this provider has a habit of being hours late on a regular basis in her regular office. When in need of urgent care, people need to be seen quickly. I had to go somewhere else…

I Had a really good experience at this urgent care. Service was prompt and the staff was professional and courteous. My family and I will definitely be coming back when we are in need of great medical care.
