Scott was wonderful! We moved here out of state and needed almost everything. He stayed late and was sure to check everything to make sure it was in Stock for us. Super friendly and helpful!

We spent several months going from store to store comparing what we found at Pruitt’s. The staff was super friendly and when comparing price and selection, hands down this place had the best deal and we special ordered the color and I needed the chaise on the other side, no problem. My couch was delivered in 2 weeks and was so much better then I could have asked for. We just love it. (Posted a photo)

The 4 stars is for the district manager’s excellent customer service. I’ve bought a lot of furniture through the years at Pruitt’s and have always been happy. As far as the bed we bought… no stars. TOXIC MATTRESSES: First let me say that Kyle, the District Manager, is one of the best people I’ve ever met. His customer service is outstanding. He makes you feel like he hears you and cares about your concerns. ANY NEW mattresses you buy are toxic, especially the memory foams. I have severe allergies from the chemicals and fire retardants that these beds are made with. The smell immediately makes me nauseous and sick. I ended up at the doctor, 3 days after we got the bed home, with dizziness. She said I was having a severe allergic response. We bought the Serta Perfect Sleeper bed and it didn’t stink in the showroom, but the one we got delivered stunk really badly. This is rated one of the best mattresses in the world. This is the 2^nd mattress we bought in 6 weeks where I couldn’t stand the smell. We’ve done a lot of research the last few weeks and spoke to a lot of furniture experts. All new mattresses, especially memory foams are made with toxic materials and flame retardants. Please do your research before buying these and start demanding from the furniture companies that these mattresses be made like they used to be years ago. Our health is at risk. Think about what these materials are doing to your babies and children. We must all take action. Please protect yourselves, speak out. We can all make a change by our voices being heard. In the meantime, I’m forced to actually buy a used mattress. Never thought I’d say that, but I have no choice. We are buying a mattress this morning from a lady that claims the bed was only used in a guest room, she is very clean and has always kept a protective cover on the mattress, and no pets in the house. Please say a prayer for us that this bed is as she says it is. It’s another Serta Perfect Sleeper, but an older model.

Bad customer service… Ordered a 4 piece living-​room set several weeks before it was suppose to be delivered. The day of delivery came with only 2 of the 4 pieces and was told that it looked like the other half had been cancelled. I verified i was charged and told the driver who had to call the dispatch who was then informed that the portion hadn’t made it to the warehouse. I never received a call from Pruitts letting me know that my delivery was going to be short 2 items (should incorporate into policy). I called later that week to get detail as to when to expect the remaining portion of my order and was told they would check and call me back. I never got a call back and ended up calling again the next day and found that the receptionist lost the sticky note my number was on. I received an additional delivery date for the remaining items and was told I would need to call that day at 8 a.m. to find my 4 hour time slot to expect my delivery. I called and was told between 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. which never happened. I gave them a call inquiring about the delivery since it was after the time and they stated i was in the afternoon delivery time and could expect it anytime up to 4 p.m. My aggravation stems from an additional day wasted to waiting on a delivery that should have been delivered day one. Lastly, its surprising that a company doesn’t think that in the event that they made a mistake or failed to deliver that they don’t make sure that the customer is taken care of immediately instead of putting them on the last part of the delivery day as if there time has no value. (poor company culture and values).

I visited the store on two separate occasions to buy furniture for our new home. The first time we bought everything that was already in stock, a dining table with 4 chairs (as well as 2 extra) and a living room set. The prices are unbeatable for the quality and we received within the week. I was so impressed that we returned to buy another couch for another room that we hadn’t been able to stop thinking about.
Unfortunately, the one on the floor didn’t match our needs but we were told that we could special order it but it would take 6 – 8 weeks before they would be able to deliver. After a few days of mulling it over we decided to make the special order purchase.
That was on March 8^th. After 6 weeks I called in hopes that I would receive the couch in time for our housewarming party but was told, no, it would be the full 8 weeks. Saddened I waited the 2 more weeks they had told me to wait. At this time, since they saw nothing in their system they decided to consult the manufacturer to find out where it was. Apparently, unbeknownst to anyone, the manufacturer had moved and all of their special orders were pushed back 2 weeks.
By the middle of May I started getting restless. Calling after 10 weeks, I was assured it was going to be on the truck to be delivered. It was finally delivered, 10 weeks and 3 days and I can not be happier with our purchase. It is exactly what we wanted, despite the fact that I had to wait almost 3 more weeks than initially quoted and receiving only a «free delivery» for being made to wait.
So, all in all I would recommend this place for good prices and good quality, but if you are going to make a special order expect to go without your furniture for at least 8 – 10 weeks. If you can wait, it’s worth it. If you want furniture sooner, go with what is already on the floor.

Having had a great experience with Pruitt’s several years ago, my wife and I made this one of our first stops in looking for some furniture upgrades. We appreciated the ultra low pressure sales. Previous review ls had sited lack of in store help. We attributed this to them not wanting to be overbearing. A representative was always available and helpful when we had questions. It made out shopping experience enjoyable.
All this, in combination with extremely competitive prices and a huge selection of choices, will make Pruitt’s out go to stop when shopping for furnishings.

Work relocated me from out of state and we needed to replace several big furniture pieces. We shopped around the east valley before going into Pruits, I don’t know why I had the impression of them being an expensive furniture store? They have great quality pieces at very good prices! We bought an entire living room set, bedroom set, dining room including serving buffet piece for around $ 3500. I canceled the dining room order I placed at another place because they’re good deal was over $ 400 more. I made 2 trips and spoke to Bob and Mark both friendly guys, no pressure selling. I like the prices! Nice furniture! Customer service is good and eventhough I had to wait a while before I was able to tell the guy what I wanted he at least kept me informed. He was really the only one out on the floor so I understood. I will definitely return!

Really good staff and the people were so helpful the only that they need to work on is for the staff to be a little more vivid and show excitement but they were just really helpful and they gave suggestion. At the end it was good prices, good choices, good furniture, nice staff. Very happy with the end result

Saw a canopy bedroom set advertised online, went into the showroom to order and found out it had been discontinued. Why as a business would you advertise something that was not available??? Anyhow, our salesman Mark Donohoe was very kind and went out of his way to contact management to locate a set, because I absolutely fell in love with the bed and HAD to have it! Low and behold they were able to find one but had to special order it. In the meantime, we returned to add a mattress to our order after shopping several other stores in the area and finding Pruitt’s to be the best value in that dept. as well. Both were delivered a few weeks later and we are very happy with our purchase.

I live in Sahuarita, south of Tucson. I own a home in Chandler. While I’m fixing and repairing it in order to sell, my son is living there while he’s working a contract job in Tempe. I needed some inexpensive, basic furniture for him, and to make the place more presentable when I ultimately list it for sale.
I was on my way to some scratch and dent store I found on the internet when I saw their sign. Fabian greeted me at the door. I told him I wasn’t feeling in a particularly good ‘decision-​making’ mode, but looking for a few inexpensive things. He pointed out a $ 500 sofa and I told him I wanted a sofa AND loveseat for $ 500. To my surprise, he showed me a beautiful set for exactly that price.
He also informed me I could get that and all the things I needed delivered THAT DAY for $ 90! I quickly chose coffee table, end tables and dining table and chairs. I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes, and on my way back to Tucson at a reasonable time after seeing the furniture set up by the delivery guys (who were also superior).
I must say that I haven’t received such excellent service and pricing from a company in a very long time. Kudos to Pruitt’s and Fabian for making my year.

Go see Mark Donohoe if you want a no pressure, seamless transaction from a friendly & helpful sales associate. I needed an electric recliner for my mom who was being discharged from the hospital post total knee replacement surgery. Pruitt’s had exactly what I was looking for! Great selection & prices… I’ve looked elsewhere and the inventory here was larger and more diverse than anywhere else. Mark is a classy, friendly salesman and I highly recommend you ask for him and shop here for all your home furnishing needs. Mom loves her new recliner and the price was very right!

This is the worst store I’ve ever been to. I walked in ready to spend some serious cash and not a single person would help me. Oh a couple of salesman sat and watched tv, and a couple of other salesman made eye contact with me and started to walk toward me but then stopped and turned around. Oh well, I went to Fry’s market place and bought a great leather loveseat, a dining room set and an entertainment center. I spent almost $ 1000.00 there and the staff was really great. I don’t recommend Pruitts to anyone, go to Frys.

Wait, I can’t store my clothes on the ground anymore? If you’re looking for a place to upgrade your bedroom organization game, take a gander at the dresser options at Pruitt’s.
When my fiancée and I moved-​in together, we knew that our cubical shelving unit wasn’t going to cut it for storing our clothes once we were married. WIth a budget of about $ 600, Pruitt’s was the first stop on our quest to make our first big bedroom furniture purchase. This neighborhood store has an expansive showroom with some basic home arrangements. It has more of a warehouse feel compared to many of its competitors, but we found that the styles were really appealing and didn’t have that «old person» look. We didn’t want our house looking like our grandparents’!
Even after checking out a couple other big name furniture stores, we decided that Pruitt’s still had the best prices. If you’re looking for immediate attention when you walk in, you’re not going to be happy here. The employees are pretty hands-​off until you’ve got questions or are ready to buy. We really appreciated the relaxed approach and never felt rushed to make a decision while we evaluated our options.
Haggle-​factor: We offered to pay cash for a discount. No good. They are already a discount warehouse, so their prices are pretty firm.
Delivery: They will deliver and assemble your new furniture within a couple days. They ask that you call the morning-​of your scheduled day to get a delivery time window.

The shopping experience there was so so, but what happened afterwards was terrible. Found the couch I wanted at an awesome price. The sales person said that it was going to be four days out. So I paid for it and haven’t heard from them since. No one has called and it’s been weeks. I contacted them a week after they stated just to give them some time, they gave me another date. A week passed, called them again, got another two weeks out. I said I’m just going to get a refund, we can’t go without a couch for that long. The lady on the line said «go ahead, do whatever you want» they don’t care!!! Bottom line. No one should be waiting weeks over their promise date on furniture. Beware!!!

Very reasonably priced, comfortable sofas and sectionals. They had a good selection of beds to choose from as well. I was the only person in the store and the 2 salesmen knew I was there, but didn’t even say hello or bother to ask if I needed anything. Instead, they felt it was better to talk on their cell phones and sit around. I guess they didn’t need my business!

Wonderful experience. Tom is very nice. Not pushy at all. very informative about the furniture. I bought a sofa, and it was delivered the next day in perfect condition. Large, nice selection of furniture. I will be shopping here again!

If you’re looking for furniture to fill your Cophenhagen themed décor that should not be touched by pets, human beings under 4’11″, or anyone that might cause a slight wrinkle in your expensive leather, this is obviously not where you should be looking.
If you’re looking for a more realistic couch that’s meant to be used quite often, durable, and extra comfy in case you get kicked out of the bed more nights than most, then you should definitely start here.
I spent a day looking for the right sofa, no joke. I went from Indian Bend (Jack’s Warehouse, American Furniture) to Chandler (Ikea, My Pigsty, World Market). My mileage looked like I had gone to LA by the time I was done. After you go to a couple of places, you start seeing the same material, styles, and even the very same couches no matter how many times you blink and you’re left to only decide depending on the store’s prices/​sales.
I hate being bombarded by salespeople who start ranting unlimited color options for a couch I barely sat on or eyed for three seconds, but I admit it’s not enough to deter me from buying anything. Pruitt’s employees gives off the feeling that they’re not paid by commission, and even if they were, I couldn’t tell. They tell you what you want to hear, no gimmicks or fluff, and if you don’t like it, they leave you in peace until you feel like talking to them again.
Needless to say though, the pricing didn’t add up at most of these stores and I ended up going to Pruitts and within 20 quick minutes, found a fabulous couch, $ 279 with free delivery, softer than floating cloud wrapped in a warm flour tortilla placed on a baby’s butt.
Yeah, it’s that comfy.
