Dr Manisha Thakkar has been residing in Chandler and practicing as a Pediatrician in the East Valley for the last five years. Dr Thakkar did her residency training at Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan — affiliated with Michigan State University. After completing her internship and residency training, she joined a private practice in Monroe, Michigan. She served the community by providing inpatient and outpatient care. In 2006, Dr Thakkar moved to East Valley and joined Desert Pediatric Hospitalists group. As a hospitalist, she provided care to newborns and sick patients at Banner Desert, Banner Gateway, Banner Baywood, Chandler Regional Hospital and Mercy Gilbert Hospitals. In May 2011 Dr Thakkar opened Advance Care Pediatrics to provide continuity ofcare and attention to her patients and their families.
