Total Interior Design for my clients, from Architectural plans, space-​planning, colorizing, furniture selections, window treatments, custom designed bedding selections, wall treatments (color, wallpaper, visual treatments, etc), kitchen and bath new or remodels… to the final accessorizing of your home. We have been in the Interior Design business for 45 years. We work extremely well with all of my client’s personal visions and suggestions plus professional guidance for fantastic out-​comes. Setting the look and mood leads to breathtaking destinations and creating harmony for you.

History

Established in 1989.

Graduated from Drake University, Des Moines, Ia.

Employed at Black’s Furniture and Design (Des Moines, Ia) in Design Department

After moving to Phoenix, Az area in 1979, employed by Barrows Furniture and Design

Following Barrows closing, I have owned and been active with Sally Schaefer Interior Design to present

My clientele span a distance from Northern Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Sedona, Flagstaff and Chandler, Az to California, Montana, Des Moines, Chicago, Cleveland and many more locations.

I work from initial planning with Architects, space planning, selection and guidance, to the last accessory being placed.

I am well versed in marrying a client’s dreams to their exceptionally designed complete home. A dream come true!

Business Owner

Graduated from Drake Univ., Des Moines, Ia. Employed by West Des Moines, Ia school system to initiate an Art Program in all 5 elementary schools and taught art classes in all 5 schools. Opened my own Art Studio giving Professional Artists in the area a studio environment to showcase their works and I taught a large variety of art classes from 3 yrs to 80 yrs old.

Sold the business and entered the Interior Design phase of my life where I have enjoyed 42 yrs of wonderful and varied clients. Have lived and been active with my Interior Design Business for 32 yrs in Phoenix /​Scottsdale, Az. I am a member of the Better Business Bureau.
