My name is Jeremy Wingerter and I have been with Sun Devil Auto for almost five years.

I am a native of Arizona, born and raised in Chandler where I currently live with my wife and two kids. My favorite kind of vehicle is my Chevy Silverado.

I have been in the automotive industry for eleven years and am dedicated to the community. We are the friendly neighborhood store that you can always depend on. We provide great service and are committed to providing all of your automotive services.

*While I appreciate the quick and friendly service I always get from Sun Devil, my last experience was not so good. I brought my car in because I had a check engine light going on and off and the car was running rough. I was told new spark plugs and a fuel system treatment would fix it. I paid the $ 650 for the repair and went on my way. The next day my engine light came on and the same problem persisted. I brought it back in and they explained that now I needed oxygen sensors and that it would be another $ 700. I do not know if my car needed the prior repairs but something is wrong and maybe they didn’t diagnose it correctly.

I have always hated having to take my vehicle into the shop. Usually I deal with dirty shops and rude staff who only want to sell me things I don’t need or want. THIS place is great. I had the friendliest service, very thorough, and the work was done within the time frame that they said it would be done. Surprisingly, they even offered to take me home instead of waiting for my vehicle! I am very happy with this shop and I have to say that Jeremy and Danny are huge assets to this company. They took the fear out of bringing my car into the shop.

I’ve taken my car here several times, and the service has always been great! Pricing is fair, and if you need something in a pinch, they can generally see you on the same day. They will also give you a ride home or to work if it’s going to be a long wait, which is super convenient — no waiting around! Definitely recommended.

I’ve purchased two car batteries from Sun Devil Auto since 2013. Each time mine has gone dead I’ve been able to get it replaced for free since Sun Devil gave me a 5 year warranty on it. Today, I got my 2nd battery replaced and Danny and his staff (from the 895 E. Chandler Blvd. location) showed great customer service and got my battery replaced in under 10 minutes. This was very convenient for me!

I had an issue here the other day due to the manager not being in. I usually deal with the manager Jeremy as he has always been the best advocate for my family and I. Upon notifying Jeremy of the issue I had in his absence he went above and beyond to take care of me and smooth the situation over. I’m surprised my mind was changed so easily from being extremely disappointed to very fulfilled and heard. Thank you Jeremy for always being there and assuring me my concerns will never go unnoticed.

Worst place ever, I went there because they had a free AC check, they told me that the system on my car was too sophisticated and had to take the dash apart, they told me it would be 105 dollars for the check and after that it could go toward repairs or Freon recharge, so I decided to go with it, BIG mistake.
After doing the «AC Check» (which I doubt they ever did), they called me and told me that I needed a COMPLETE AC kit, they stated that it was 1600 dollars and that I could get it financed, after telling them that there was no way I was going to pay that I asked them to just recharge the Freon, but they told me that it is not possible because my AC compressor had shattered and broken all the hoses around it and that freon would leak right out, so I decided to pick up my car and go check out another place, they recharged the freon, and the car is blowing ice cold air!!! And still working after 2 months!
I decided to call these guys to get my money back because they clearly just wanted to rip me off and they told me that they could not get me my money back because I wrote a bad review about them!!!
THESE GUYS ARE BAD AND JUST WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY! Stay away!!!

First time visiting this Sun Devil location and my experience was awesome! The store manager Jeremy was extremely helpful! He didn’t try to oversell me but educate me on the needs for my car and even hell prioritize those needs since I couldn’t fix it all at once. He offered different payment plans and suggestions. Great place and people and I highly recommend it– very honest and no hidden agendas!

I really trust these guys. Three years ago the dealership I took my Jeep to told me I needed to have a bunch of work done to it. I brought it to Jeremy & the guys at Sundevil for a second opinion. Not only did they not do unnecessary repairs, their prices were much more reasonable. Plus, they have great customer service! My mom & I have been taking our vehicles to them ever since!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP! MOST DISHONEST PLACE!!! I took my car in to rotate my tires in which they recommended brakes and one new rotor because the other three could be turned. Two months later and my car is making squeaking sounds coming from the tire of the one rotor they replaced, and shaking when I stop and now they say I need all new rotors and front axels… Took my car to get a second opinion and turns out all my rotors needed to be replaced and were below specs the first time I took it to sun devil. Instead they charged me to turn the rotors so I am now paying again to replace them. Not to mention the brakes they used are crap breaks and already separating from the rotor. These people are so dishonest and such crooks. I would NOT recommend taking your car here. The guy also continued to argue with me saying I didn’t know what I was talking about when I had already talked to another shop and had an invoice from that shop, insinuating that the second shop was lying. Tried to talk to him and settle it honestly and they were not willing to take responsibility for what they had done! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I took my truck into this shop to fix an electrical issue that I was having with my trucks compass and temp sensor. I was promised by the district manager that my PCM was fried and that was causing issues with my truck. He told me that they were the experts and to trust him. $ 800 plus labor later I still had the same issue. I took the truck back 6 times and they were unable to fix. I wasted a lot of time and money going back and forth with them. I took my truck to another shop and they had it fixed in an hour. It turned out to be a fuse box. I asked for a refund of the PCM but since I didn’t get it fixed at their location (because of their inability to do so) I was not entitled to a refund. These guys are scum.

I’ve been a customer of this particular Sun Devil Auto for probably 7 – 8 years. They have worked on all my vehicles at one time and have never felt mislead or mistreated. Manager Jeremy has always gone out of his way to accommodate me with my car repairs needs. Now in these days of high cost of living and maintaining our budgets auto repairs can really cause havoc on it. Now this is where I really appreciate Jeremy. He is a person that will take the time to discuss what repairs are needed and doing what necessary within his power to help his clients. Now if you feel you have additional questions or concerns about needed repairs or completed, Jeremy will take what ever actions is needed to ensure the work is completed correctly and to your satisfaction. Jeremy and his staff are truly where I put my trust for all my auto needs. Speaking of staff, Matt is back at this location and just like Jeremy he is truly an asset to Sun Devil Auto, just wondering why he doesn’t have his own shop. I’ve known him as long as I’ve been a customer of Sun Devil. So if you have a need give Jeremy a call, several family and friends have and we will continue to do so!

Sun Devil Auto saved the day.
I of course waited until the last minute to take my car to emissions to get tested before I could get my tags renewed. Much to my surprise my newish) car failed and so I took it into a shop across the street from emissions testing to get fixed. This place (not Sun Devil) wanted over $ 1,200 smacks to replace a gas cap and some type of leak. I called bullshit and left. A couple days later (still procrastinating on getting my car fixed) my car overheated, yeah, when it rains it pours. Not wanting to drive far I brought into Sun Devil and Jeremy and Brad took really good care of me. I had a plethora of problems going on with my vehicle. It was all going to end up costing the same amount that I was originally quoted at the other place BUT I was going to have a lot more work done to my car. They cut me a deal on the diagnostic testing AND threw in the radiator cap that went MIA when the car overheated, yeah, I know those aren’t expensive but every little bit helps. When it came time to pay I sighed and winced and Jeremy could see my torment and told me that they would allow me to split up my payment by providing a post dated check. I could have jumped across the counter to hug him because I knew I was also going to have to shell out another $ 300 for tags once I left Sun Devil. I will come back to this place for any and everything having to do with my vehicle from now on.
