History
Established in 2009.
In 2009, Jay Flores faced difficulty finding an opportunity to pursue his passion and use his tattooing skills at various shops in the valley. This inspired him to pursue the American dream and begin his own business venture. CU Lukin began simply as an organized, clean location for Jay and his friends to gather and get new ink in the heart of a city they all grew up in. Over the next few years, increasing popularity and acceptance of tattoos led to word getting out and Jay started to see an increase in «business» that he never anticipated. CU Lukin Ink expanded to a larger location and began slowly adding new artists to their crew. At the end of 2013 with 5 – 6 artists on board, Jay decided it was time to expand, bringing to life AZ Ink. In an effort to reach beyond the city of Chandler, Jay aspires to represent Arizona and the artistic abilities that are born from the artists of AZ Ink.
