Same song and story as everyone else. Bought a groupon and waste of money!

DONOTGO! Whoever wrote the review with 5 stars is probably Tanya or her son. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been. I called to make an appointment for eyelash extensions. The phone number listed is actually Tanya’s son’s cell phone number because she didn’t want to spend money on an office phone and doesn’t want to get bothered with phone calls to her own cell phone. They eyelashes looked fake and were straw-like. I called to get them removed and the son answered. I left my name and number for a call back. I called the next week and did the same thing. Then I texted the number(which I 100% knew was Tanya because that was how I made the appointment in the first place) and they responded, I’m sorry, you have the wrong number. This made me furious. I then took a picture of the number that Unilocal lists for The Total Touch From Head 2 Toe and said that they should report that a company listed their number. The response was OK. Unprofessional. Bad Service. Not polite. Just wants your money. Even if you have heard one or two good things about this place, please reconsider. I have also never left a Unilocal review before, but this was SO bad, it was worth my time to tell you all about it. I visited a place near the Biltmore after Tanya ruined my eyelashes, and they are great. Just an alternative so you don’t make the mistake of choosing The Total Touch From Head 2 Toe like I did.

I have never dealt with a salon with such horrible customer service. I bought a groupon for Eyelash extensions. Man! I should have read the Unilocal reviews first. What a joke. I have been trying to make an appointment for over a week. After getting over my confusion(what kind of company doesn’t answer the phone?) I checked out what other ladies had to say about this salon… And then it was clear. This salon is a JOKE! I canceled my groupon purchase. I will never go to this place. You shouldn’t either.

Horrible! Went to a professional to get these eyelashes removed and the lady said she’s never seen eyelashes done this horribly. And she used cheap eyelashes that look like nasty hair plugs. Ghetto and not worth the discounted price. Regretted buying the groupon the moment I called to make the appointment.

Terrible. I bought traditional lash extensions from groupon — meaning I paid 69.00. I get there and the lashes she showed me looked like a shaved rat in a can, so I «upgraded» to mink. Tell me how a 40.00 upgrade cost me 70.00 somehow? Also, she«upgrades» them, and I use parenthesis because the shit lashes she uses look good for about 24 hours, before the glue starts coming undone. She sold me some sort of lash protector stuff — that she apparently didn’t have in stock and said she would mail it to me. No surprise, I never received the package. So now I have shit lashes that I paid 170.00 for, no protector for and as soon as I asked for a refund **JUSTFORTHEPRODUCTSHENEVERSENTME*** she started to ignore my texts. I disputed it with my credit card company and she actually DISPUTEDTHEUPGRADEBACK — I WASGOINGTOLEAVEHERWITHTHEINITIAL70.00 I PAID. I am now going to dispute BACK with my credit card company AND with groupon. NEVEREVEREVERBUY A GROUPONFROMTHISGHETTOBUSINESS.

I completely agree with Customer A H!!! At the start of my appt, she handed me a clip board with«suggested» gratuity prices. I purchased the«pure mink» eyelashes for $ 99(a $ 285 value) which by definition by all professionals is 100% mink hair that is naturally brushed out of the animal. I’ve had regular non-mink synthetic eyelash extensions before done by another business and hated them. I hated the way they feltand grew out, fell out. When she was applying the«pure mink» they felt just like the other cheap extensions I’ve had in the past, when I questioned her, and told her they felt like other synthetic lashes I’ve had in the past. She assured me they were mink and they would«soften» over time, which wasn’t the case in my situation. I noticed she recently changed her mink description on Groupon for«pure mink» to «full mink» but still doesn’t specify if they are synthetic mink or 100% pure mink. When I called anonymously to ask what kind of mink they were she seemed dumbfounded and I had to ask specifically are they synthetic or 100% pure because she kept repeating they are mink. I know that! But what kind??! For someone who doesn’t know the difference, this is very misleading. I am currently fighting for my refund! Very deceitful!!! I also have a screenshot of her groupon claiming«pure mink» because now she’s trying to say she never claimed them to be pure! Yeah right! At the end of our appt she said a $ 60 tip was standard. I left her $ 60 and walked out disappointed!!!

RUDE, unprofessional and altogether ghetto. Made the appt and immediately cancelled. She can’t even speak with proper etiquette. If this woman has her own business… then anyone can. Not saying they should though. I’m finding these Groupon providers don’t really want to honor the discount either. So I’m over Groupon. It’s too much hassle. OH! and the phone is WRRRRONG! VM goes to a dude… should be(480) 339‑9587NOT399. Dumbass doesn’t even know her own number

Cost of the Dealfind that brought me there: 40 $ Cost to repair the damage wrought there:140 $ Aggravation level getting to this point: 10⁄10 I got a cut, color, and manicure as part of a Dealfind offer. Wait time: I made an appointment months ago to cash this voucher in. Showed up and found two ladies in the salon. LaTonya the owner told me she could fit me in 1.5 hours later. Screw that. Left. I made another appointment, came on time, and only had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment to start. Poorly run from the first moment. I should have run away. Cut: Just wanted a trim of the existing style, which is some subtle shoulder length layers. She didn’t seem able to comprehend the blending that had been done, and I left with chunky, hideous, can’t-do-anything-with-it layer that make no sense. Why is the top layer on the right shorter than the top layer on the left? Why are the bottoms on both sides different lengths too? Why are the chunks on the left thicker/larger than the chunks on the right? WHYDIDSHEDOCHUNKS??? Why did I let this woman touch my hair? Questions that shall never get a sufficient answer. Worst cut since some b — - in the 80s thought I could use some impromptu bangs. Color: Asked to match my roots. She turned my hair red, and left dye stains all over my face. Nuf said. The manicure was supposed to be simple– file and clear polish. How does someone manage to mess up clear polish? She found a way. Uneven filing and rough, one coat, poor quality polish. I took it off as soon as I got home and refiled. Don’t do it. Just don’t.
