History

Established in 2011.

A resident of the Valley for over 15 years, I am originally from Minneapolis. With frequent travel for my former sales career and visiting family out of state, I regularly found myself scrambling to find the right people to entrust with my pets’ care. Given the limited (and often unappealing) options of boarding my kids with their vet, imposing on various friends and neighbors, or placing pets in doggy daycare, I was always searching for a «better fit».

This Little Doggie Stayed Home was inspired by my desire to fill the niche I couldn’t find by providing caring and compassionate in-home pet sitting for other people’s four-legged families. I have an overwhelming passion for animals and treat all pets I meet like they are my own.

Lindsey W.

Business Owner

My lifelong love for animals began as a child, caring for cats, dogs, fish, rats, a squirrel and the occasional baby bird misplaced from its nest. Currently, I am actively involved in animal rescue as both a volunteer and foster mom, dedicated to securing forever homes for my furry companions. Often called a «stray magnet», I work diligently to reunite lost pets with their loving owners.
