This Walmart is scum. I mean you can’t really expect too much from Walmart but come on! It’s very dingy in here and the layout is completely different than other Walmart’s other than the grocery side which still has weird placement for most things. The people shopping here are bizarre and mostly all drug addicts. As for the workers, the greeters are nice. The cashiers are worthless. I always use the self check out to avoid their workers. The other day when I was there I was checking out and the self check out wasn’t reading the weight correctly. The machine kept saying remove items. It went off and stayed stuck like that multiple times and the worker of course just stood there and watched. Finally it did it again and she just stood behind me and started laughing… Wtf? I turned around and looked at her. What the hell is so funny? You can’t do your job? I literally threw my bag into the cart and the scanner finally shut up. She would have had no idea if I actually put an extra item in my bag because she just stood their being completely worthless and proceeded to laugh. I feel like I’m in a foreign country walking in here.

I shop at this Walmart in mostly two departments, the grocery section and the pharmacy section. I do this for one reason and that is for the savings! When I can save well over a dollar when purchasing the margarine I like, a gallon of milk for 10 cents less than the other cheapest store, a half dollar on my grape tomatoes, less on my prescriptions, and vitamins, etc. I save a lot of money compared to my local Fry’s and Safeway stores. Haven’t seen the«wild» looking people and the staff smiles and is helpful and the store is clean. It is a bit narrower between the aisles of the newer Walmart stores but this has never been an issue. I understand how they drive smaller businesses out but my wallet tells me to keep shopping here!

This is probably one of the OLDEST Walmarts in the valley. It is obvious due to the conditions in the store. The floors are in need of extensive cleaning or replacement. The shelves are often out of stock of basic items that are always available to other Walmart shows within 5 miles. Personally, this is one of the last places I want to go if I am in a hurry. I am willing to drive to the other locations just to avoid it.

My home Walmart. Nothing good, nothing bad. I think because it’s not a Super Walmart that sometimes the stock gets low or is waiting to be refilled but really I’ve had pretty good experiences here. The people at the returns desk have always been nice to me as has that staff when I’ve need help or had an inquiry. The store had new flooring installed recently and while that was going on it was a bit of a pain to shop here but that’s the price for progress. Decent Store. Nice Staff. Average Selection. 3 Stars.

This Walmart is big. I really hate going to the smaller Walmarts because they never have the things you want. They carry half the merchandise and you expect Walmart to carry the basic necessities of all kinds. Well, this one has most things I look for. And like all other Walmarts, there’s no employees around when you need one. Especially in electronics… there’s one person every time I go. And then there will be 30 people in line at the registers and 2 registers will be open while a bunch of more employees just stand there. Well, at least this one carries more merchandise.

Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine giving a Walmart 5 stars on a Unilocal review, but here goes; So, I’m a little weird when it comes to Walmarts. I don’t like the over-crowded, overly-noisy, over-scary stores and, well let’s face it, Walmart seems to constantly win the award on that one. But this one, this one, folks, is seriously a winner. I go here probably once a week for household goods, and I’ve never once felt… intimidated… by this store. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The lines aren’t long and slow; can I get a hallelujah?! And there’s always a cute little elderly greeter/bag checker by the door, who makes some silly little comment whilst checking your items against the receipt! Finally, a normal Walmart I can add to the books!

I really feel this is the worst Walmart I’ve ever been in. Displays are always in disarray and limited check out clerks. The store always seems dirty and the produce is always«ugly». From now on I will drive to the farther Walmart. I’m not a frequent Walmart shopper as Walmart is my «last resort».

Seriously, these negative reviews make me laugh. If you really want to see a horrible Walmart, go to the one on Southern and Rural in Tempe. That one is the worst! Honestly, this Walmart wasn’t bad at all! Unless you like being waited on your hand and foot. Sure the employees didn’t exactly seem ecstatic to be there, but I mean I’d hate working at any Walmart too. Anyway, they had everything I needed(grocery, pet and makeup areas). And better prices than the walmarts near me. The outside and inside actually looked really nice too! Maybe come to the Walmart in Tempe to get a comparison…

This store is far better than most of the big Wal-Marts in town. Always a great selection of goods from all departments, and employees make me feel welcomed. I frequently come hear

We ordered A six-foot sub for my daughter and my son-in-law’s going away party. It came with three meats, cheese, condiments and The fixings for $ 34 plus tax! It feed almost 40 of us and we had leftovers. They even sliced the individual pieces, and bagged every foot of sandwiches which made storing and serving very easy. I will always go here for my subs!!!

My BF got a bike from this location and they were very helpful with fitting the bike into the car and helping us choose what the best bike was for us. Good Customer service… at least when ti comes to the bikes!

I shop at this Wal-Mart frequently because the associates are nice and helpful. It’s supposed to be a super walmart but its too small so they don’t have everything a REAL super walmart has but its still nice to shop here. I go to this one specifically for the meat because they have some good sized steaks and other meats without much fat. Overall my experiences here are always good and if there’s ever any problem at all, the Manager always makes it right.

As far as Walmarts go, this one isn’t the worst I’ve seen so far. OK, I know thats not a glowing recommendation. so first I’ll give you my positive impressions. It was very well organized and clean and the people at the tills and even those that check your receipts at the exit were very friendly indeed. What I did not enjoy, was what an utter maze this place was. Couldn’t they just make a whole bunch of aisles and make it easy to navigate? Instead it was these little pocket islands of oddly arranged merchandise. One almost needs a GPS to get to the part of the store you’re looking for.

This is the closest WalMart to me so I find myself having to come here from time to time. On average though, it’s not as clean or as well stocked as other WalMarts out there. The main reason for the review is that I called this morning to see if they had a specific item I saw in their website in store. I got put on hold– waited 5 mins and finally hung up. I called back, explained what had happened only to get put on hold again for ANOTHER5 mins. At this point I said F it, drove the extra 9 miles out of the way and bought it at another WalMart that I knew would have it in stock. It’s not that I have anything against WalMart(though I prefer Target), but the service/quality at this one is such crap that it’s not worth coming here.

It’s my Walmart… I think most of the reviews are based on how unruly some kids are or how it’s parking lot is bare(what the bloody ‘ell are they supposed to do to the parking lot? Put a veteran out there shooting beer from his M-16 while simultaneously cooking bacon and feeding it to his one eyed walrus??) it’s a parking lot!!! It’s small, easy to navigate and MOST importantly: they remember my name, ask me if I found all I was looking for and always have fresh fruit. This makes up for EVERYTHING else… but if you want a SAMS club feel with excitement and bite sized entrees to sample… Go to SAMS. just saying. The store manager is a great guy and it’s under new management. Stop by and tell him how your shopping experience was. it will shock you as to how quickly he will respond. Yeah Frys is here(they also sell Chinamade products) AND it costs more!!! Sooooo…shop small and affordable or go to Frys(where they have no associates. and pay for the emmm ambience) your choice mates.

Walmart is like a horrible ex you have to keep going back to because you think you need them… Walmart has great prices– as we all know — but much like the crap you put up with from your ex you have to ask yourself«is this worth it?»… This Walmart never has baskets a the front(only carts), the people who work there look miserable and act accordingly… the foreign man who works the self check out section is the rudest«non talking» man I’ve ever met… he doesn’t say a word yet makes sure you know he’s a ruder with a ‘tuder. It’s crazy.

There’s not much to put for this, it’s a Wal-Mart, if you’ve been to one you have basically been to all. This is a Wal-Mart that is on the smaller side so if you need something that is a little strange, go to the walmart on Country Club. Their staff is pretty helpful for a Wal-Mart. They don’t have a Subway or McDonalds but they have a pretty good Deli. Careful for the tamales there though. Being in Phoenix I thought«Oh real Mexican tamales»… did I forget I was at Wal-Mart and the chance of me becoming a millionaire was greater than the chance of those being homemade?! Live and learn!

What can I say? It’s Wal-Mart. If I can’t find what I’m looking for at a decent price at the Frys next door, I end up here. It’s definitely cleaner and not as SCARY as the Wal-Mart on Elliot Rd. But I sure wish there were self-checkouts at this location. You know, for those times when you want to pay for your tampons and RUN! Also, like any Wal-Mart. .. avoid on Sunday. It’s crawling with classic examples of, «Should have used a condom!» parenting. Update 4⁄22: Self-checkouts have arrived — single box o’ tampon purchasers, REJOICE! :)

I always think there are affordable prices at Walmart, I like it. This store is definitely big like other Walmart Super Centers. I entered through the entrance labeled«Pharmacy» and I realized I was on the other side of the store. I wanted to buy groceries so I had to walk all the way to the other side. Peaches were on sale and other produce were affordable. I like when vegetables and fruits are under a dollar a lb or cheaper than Frys/Trader Joe’s prices. The produce was well kept when I went. I think it was because there was someone there stocking and fixing things. I then went to the frozen section to buy frozen vegetables. Peas were $ 1.08, so cheap! The aisles I went in were neat and clean. I don’t like the parking lot, I think it can be improved. I do like the aisle walk ways but I feel like there’s a lot of entrances and too many little paths in the parking lot though.

They finally have replaced the lit up sign outside that fell down in about August 2007 which still hadn’t been replaced when I was here in August 2008. I stopped in to check out their garden department but the store was being seriously renovated and rearranged so it was hard to find anything. After I walked about two miles looking at everything I paid for my purchases and left (4÷19÷09)
