Walmart Supercenter

Just blown away with this location! I knew that Walmart itself, already has a pretty bad rep, but this is just crazy. No one in the store is very helpful. They are less than friendly. The staff alone is just never in a decent mood.
One encounter: I was trying to buy a fishing license one day, and the lady was trying to tell me that they don’t sell them when the department is closed. I thought, ok understandable. I asked what time it closed and she said 8pm I think. Well it was about 7:42. 18 minutes till. I could tell that she was the one that would have to open up the department, because she is the one who closed it early. She then argued with me, and then complained that Walmart didn’t get her enough of a break, only 15 minutes! I was astounded.
Second encounter: I was in the area and decided to go finish some grocery shopping. (Yes I know, I can’t believe I went back to this place). My shopping cart was full, and I’m aware that if the shopping cart is too far out, then a magnetic signal with stop the cart from being pushed and stolen. So the cart was completely inoperable about 75 yards out… and I had a shopping cart full of stuff. I was stuck and had to pull my car around to the cart itself, stressing more that someone would steal my groceries… judging by the average customer that shops here.
This sounds like just a horrible rant, but literally does not do any of the stories justice in person.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with a cashier at the Walmart on Arizona and the 101 in chandler Arizona. A female cashier next to my cashier Jessica, explained that my wic stamps are not valid at their store anymore, when I asked why the rude female next to Jessica said we don’t take those anymore we don’t take those they are tribel, when I continued to ask what tribel means so I can be informed she continued rudely in front of other customers to say we don’t take them they are tribel. Using wic checks is embarrassing enough in public, let alone someone yelling and being rude about not taking my kind anymore… With no explanation at all. I will NEVER go to that Walmart again. I can believe the way she conducted herself. I let that store not only angry but crying because of the rude behavior and the fact I will have to not pay one of my bills to afford baby formula for my son. So thank you for not supplying your stores with respectful people Walmart. You will never get my service or anyone else’s close to me. I am spreading the word faster than you could fix this.

Alright, I admit, I’m always sucked in by the cheap prices and relatively close location. However, I always leave saying I’ll never come back to this location. Reason being, the employees at this location are extremely rude. To this day, when I see «Judy» (you cant miss her, she’s older, usually works the register, and typically has a look of pure misery across her face), I roll my eyes and wonder why she’s still working there. I’ve come across many employees like that at this location. With the exception of Yessi– she is a floor supervisor and she’s absolutely fantastic. More employees need to model her work ethic & customer service. The other downfall of this location is the trash that shops there. Tons of ghetto people who are about 99% of the famous website peopleofwalmart. Granted, the store can’t help who shops there, so I can’t blame them for that. Despite the usually dirty floors, the rude employees, and the gross people, this location has made great strides. The general manager Joe is doing great things to finally make this location a good spot to shop. I have personally seen him there many times and he’s usually reprimanding the employees to get things done (which is exactly how it should be).

Pros: Some of the cheapest prices around. Good selection on pretty much everything except…
Cons: MATCHES. Needed them for some new candles my wife and I purchased. Seriously, where are they? Depending on who you ask, you get 3 different answers.
Employee near the registers: «Hmm not sure we carry matches. Ask someone in the grocery section.»
Employee in the grocery section: «Oh we definitely have matches, they’re over at Register 14 with the cigarettes.»
Employee at Register 14: «We do not carry any matches.»
Frustrating!
For a much more enjoyable experience, I recommend the Walmart on Germann near Gilbert Rd.

This is one of 3 Walmarts that I go to because of it’s proximity to my house. There is plenty of parking at this location. The reason I give this location a 2 star is simply that they rarely have what I’m looking for. C is an avid Hot Wheels nut. He watches Hot Wheels video’s online and knows when the new cars are coming out etc… The challenge with this store is that it seems there’s an employee who gets to the new cars before they are stocked for sale. Plus, I tend to see more old men EBay’ers scouting through the toys looking for that hot commodity to sell on EBay. I stop by this location every other week or so and honestly, it always creeps me out.

I took my kid there because she needed to buy a pair of earphones.
She decided on a pair of $ 20 ones, which were locked onto the display. (hanging, not in the glass case)
I saw a worker and got his attention. He was on his way to help another customer. I understand that. I didn’t mind waiting.
I saw another worker. He didn’t have the key to the lock.
I asked another worker. He didn’t have access either.
The fourth worker comes along and grabs the key from under the keyboard at the register.
Why did NONE of the workers know where the key was? They weren’t rude about it, but they seemed ill informed. It wasn’t like the key was in a secret hiding place.
I don’t appreciate my time being wasted like that.

This store sucks bathroom smells like shit and employees are being really lazy and not helping people and store smells like shit

A nice place to have your oil change while you shop over an abundant amount of goods. Cant say much about the costumer service while shopping around, none offer help and much as I did when I used to work there.

Always a great place to people watch. Especially in the parking lot, as the woman in front of me is shaving her mustache, neck and face in her car. The prices are cheap but if I can help it I try to do all my shopping at Winco. I come here for the things I cannot get there such as a light bulb for my wax warmer and wax refills.

The best in all other Walmarts around. So big and filled with every stuff that u name. The customer care service has extremely polite n helpful staff. Good quality items at affordable prices. What more could u ask for. I can spend a whole day shopping and still not getting tired or bored.
They have got a lot of variety for every item that u go crazy while choosing. Better than all other stores out there.

We may agree that when you need a prescription (especially since you just came from an urgent care facility) that a reasonable amount of time to have it filled would be appreciated. Pharmacist said the scripts will be ready in 45 minutes. No, they weren’t even ready after two hours!
They lost the copies of insurance card and drivers license they had copied hours earlier since we are from out of state and just happened to get sick here.
I can’t help but think they know 45 minutes is not realistic… just tell us the truth when to come back. Guy behind me in line said he has been coming back for four hours!

A regular Black Friday shopping trip.
I just so happen to take a wrong turn in the store and ended up buying a new phone that was on sale. I’m very happy with my phone. As soon as I transferred phones the other died within an hour. Whew!
My mother on the other hand got everything she came for on Black Friday except the electronic heated comforter she is still searching for to this day.

Wow how I hate Walmart. Horrible customer service, I get there BEFORE 10pm for a return and they tell me it is too close to 10pm so they refuse it and tell me to come back. Good luck finding anyone who works here that cares.

This store needs a complete overhaul. I rarely go to this location, and every time I do I’m sorry that I went. The first thing they need to start with is the parking lot and the fact that they allow 10 – 20 vagrants roaming around the parking lot harassing everyone for money.

This is for the Site to Store part of the store.
I went to this Wal-​Mart to pick up an order that I needed to pick up. It was just before 8 am and I was at the back of the store, at the Site to Store area. I hit the button to notify someone that I was waiting, which it says to do.
Not sure how long I waited, but at least 15 minutes. During that time, a number of Wal-​Mart employees pass me to go to the bathroom or to the back of the store in the employee only area. Most didn’t ‘say anything to me, and I did look like I was waiting, but no one helping me.
A handful of people did ask me if I was being helped. I said I was not. And they would disappear somewhere. I was still waiting and still no one helping me. There weren’t a lot of people in the store at this time and way more Wal-​Mart personnel than actual customers.
Finally, I got frustrated and left the area and got a person to help me, which she as the wrong person, but she finally went to go get someone to help me. He was ticked that he was not notified, like I knew that he was servicing the area. It wasn’t my fault that their system wasn’t working properly.
He gave the excuse that it’s because of the storm. I made the comment, what storm? Well, i can see from other reviews for the Site to Store, that I doubt their notification system wasn’t working because of the storm, rather it’s just a crappy system.
He never smiled and I tried to be really nice and light hearted, but I failed. Maybe he was having a bad day and the manager was there, but I’m not sure, because he wasn’t wearing a badge. However, he was one of the personnel that passed me and never did anything to help me get someone to help me get my order.
Then, when I got the order, which were 3 small packets of page protectors in a huge box that could have contained 50 packets. What a waste of postage and a box. That’s an area of waste. Maybe they should take the waste there and apply it to a better notification system.
Anyway, Wal Mart associates, pls be nice and smile at the customers.

Ok customer service awesome prices LOVE the price match feature Walmart has to offer.

I usually get my oil change at wal mart because I am used to their services and I can count on them to give me the same service nationwide. However, I don’t feel like this provided the same service as the other walmarts in Florida and Chicago. First, the other walmarts you drive up and someone serves you. This one I had to go in and waited a while for someone’s attention. I had to wait 2 hours for my oil change but that wasn’t the problem. Then, two hours later they called and said it was ready which was nice but I asked when tires should normally be rotated and I still don’t know the answer, he said that the guys would have mentioned in the report if it needed to be rotated. So the previous walmarts added the tread depth usually on the report, however this Walmart didn’t have it in the report. Did they check it? Did they not check it? How do I know… The guy says they did but who knows… So I didn’t like the service which doesn’t compete to their other Walmart tire and lube in Florida and Chicago.

Very crowded with rude people and the store is mess. No real help from any of the staff.

I’ve been her thousands of times. This location is conveniently located just North of the Loop 101 on Arizona Ave. They always have a good selection of food and products, service here is excellent and friendly, & prices are always low. Only issue I found at this location is that they often do not have enough cashiers open, and lines have a tendency to back up. Still an excellent Walmart to shop at. =)

I am writing a review based on my (second) experince with my site-​to-​store purchase.
Both times I went to the rear of the store where you pick up and hit the little «call» button. As I write now, 15mins have gone by with nobody at attendance. Or maybe I am just going delerious and it has really been 30 mins and I’m just good at entertaining myself on Unilocal.
Bottom line is — they aren’t quick at this desk so don’t come expecting a quick jaunt.
UPDATE — I went to the electronics department counter and they helped me out.
