B&A Power Washing

I had a great experience with them. I was told by my HOA that I had to get my siding cleaned. So, I started looking for someone that could help with that. The first company I contacted took so long to respond (4 days which is why i called B&A), that I didn’t hear back from them until the day B&A had been over. Anyway, I sent B&A an email and was contacted by a very nice man who gave me a quote for my end unit townhouse and said they could come over the next day. I told them that no one would be home, but he said that was OK, just shut the windows and leave the outside water on. He said they would leave an invoice outside and I could call and pay after. Who does that anymore? And it was appreciated. He gave me a quote, and true to their word, my house was spotless when I got home. I called and left my work number that evening and a very nice lady called me at work the next day and took my payment over the phone. I am very happy with the service and will recommend them to others as well as use them again myself.

Solomon with B an A did a fantastic job power washing the siding of our home. It is so clean now it looks like it has been repainted. B and A is a great company to work with. It’s scheduler is very friendly and easy to reach and work with. Our washer showed up exactly when promised and spent the time required to do a thorough job. Everyone from B and A that we came in contact with was friendly and professional. B and A’s prices are very very fair. We would definitely use B an A again and can easily recommend this company to anyone needing a power wash.

I had B&A power wash and seal my back deck. I would not recommend the company.
I had a coupon for a reasonable price and was expecting a thorough cleaning and sealing of the deck. Instead, they did not completely remove the stain and the finished result was very poor — streaking and uneven appearance.
This spring I have a new company that has already removed all of the old stain and will use a high quality stain to make sure that the job is done right this time.

All of these are pretty standard when dealing with a contracting company wouldn’t you say? What makes B&A the best in the market is the people in the field. Hands down some of the most professional, entrepreneurial, and hardworking that I have ever seen.
We have all had the shady contractor sent to our home. Maybe they were a plumber, maybe a cable guy, maybe an HVAC dude, who knows right. Nothing makes me more uncomfortable than inviting a stranger into my home or onto my property. When the guys from B&A show up they will literally knock your socks off. They have passion for the job, they are positive and upbeat, they leave you feeling truly cared for and appreciated. Not to mention you will not get better results from anyone I can assure you that.
I will continue to be a loyal customer and recommend them to everyone I know.

****And who complains about measuring a driveway or deck so that the company can give a competitive and accurate estimate???**** Spending the man hours to have someone come out for every estimate will drive costs up and increase all of our bottom lines.

Wow! I got a flyer in the «coupon clipper» from this company, which I’d never heard of, and it reminded me of some exterior work that needed done on my house. I e-​mailed in a request for contacting, and they called me back that evening! The rep was very understanding that it was a small job, but that they would still be happy to take care of it. They came out the next day — I didn’t have to be there — and took care of it! (Brick on my chimney had gone black, and a small deck that never gets sunshine was green with mildew.) Soloman called me when he arrived, stuck to the very affordable price they had quoted the night before, and left the bill on my door. Done! And when I arrived home, I was delighted with the results — the chimney and deck look fabulous. I took a chance on a company I’d never used — and they happily surprised me. I will recommend them to all my neighbors and friends!

I have used B&A PowerWashing for several years and have always been pleased with the results. They powerwashed my house last week and Solomon, the technician, did an excellent job. He also explained the pros /​cons of using an electric power washer vs gas-​powered power washer. $ 219 /​house.

We have a nice sized white colonial single family home with a little mold on one side that was too stubborn for us to get out. I called, a friendly receptionist took the call, and three days later the job was done! They made it so easy and the price was right. Lee was our tech he was friendly fast and professional. Thanks so much– we will use you again for sure.

They give quotes over the phone based on the specifications of your deck which is convenient. The price was reasonable. They were able to schedule the wash within days. Overall, the wash was good except close by the house where they either weren’t paying attention or trying not to get the spray on the house. There was clear difference in this section. It took one a week for them to come back to seal — not the three business days that tell you. I had to call, but once I called they were out within a day to do the sealing. They only use clear sealant which I thought would be fine since the deck had been previously stained. Although I know they did two passes on the deck, I am not happy with the amounts on the railings and spindles. I will probably roll some more on these parts myself. Some sealant got on the siding and the lower part of the slide door which will require me to clean with a solvent to get off. In general they were okay.

This power washing company needs a good washing of their own. Be very careful about giving your business to this company!!!
I don’t write too many negative reviews… I try to highlight only those businesses that I can positively vouch for but in this case, I felt I really needed to. Here’s a brief description of the issues I faced with them.
1. I hired them to powerwash 3 sides (end unit town home) but they came and only did one. No explanation on their part but of course, they billed me for all 3 sides. When I called back and asked about it, they gave me a really lame excuse, something about miscommunication. They agreed to come back out the following week, but they refused to nail down a time. I have not seen them yet.
2. Price and discount — when I called they were very quick to offer me a 10% discount, but after the job was complete (or at least one side was complete), they said that that was a mistake and they should not have offered that. They absolutely refused to honor their original price. They claimed that they don’t offer that discount anymore — funny because I had a friend call and they offered the 10% discount immediately.
This should have been a very simple job and even if a problem arose, it would have been very simple to figure out a compromise or some type of solutuion. But they absolutely refused to take any responsibility.
I can’t believe there are companies out there that would conduct their business in this manner. Save your time and money — go with someone else.
