I love the food! Grilled soft tacos are legit! I would say it is a little bit overpriced but I will definitely eat there again.

The rice seemed like it was microwaved, the shrimp and the steak cranked dou, the lettuce wasn’t lettuce it was long crunchy strips I mean I’m not white so personally wasn’t for me but I liked how everyone spoke Spanish in the kitchen:-)

I hesitate to write a review for a chain, because most people already know what to expect. But this particular Baja has to be called out for its lack of cleanliness and food safety protocol. I’ve eaten at this restaurant twice and both times the floors and tables were very dirty. Now this isn’t concerning until you take into account that we were there both times at opening. This leads me to believe the mess was from the previous day. And both times the salsa verde tasted spoiled. We brought this to the attention of an employee who didn’t even go as far as sampling it to see if we may have been correct. He just left the bowl of salsa at the salsa bar. Thankfully I discovered there is a far better Baja off of West Ox and Monument! We are willing to drive a few extra miles out of our way to ensure our family is eating safe food!

My favorite item on the menu is the baja burrito, and I upgrade it by making it «Enchilado Style“so they pour on some RedChili sauce and cheese all over your chips and burrito and make it melty and delicious! I love the salsa bar, it had just been recently restocked with all the salsa, jalapeños, and cilantro. It was very clean, and Togo cups and bags are available to take some with you if you get lunch on the go. I like free access to salsa because I’m quite the dipper. Pretty good food for lunch on the run, a little more expensive than the neighboring places to grab a bite, but considerably healthier in my mind. Solid B!

The one thing that I absolutely like about this place is that the sauces and pico de gallo are made fresh. Food is ok. Cooked to order. Free nacho chips on the side for every entrée. Place is clean with a huge flatscreen muted and loud latino music playing overhead.

Standard Baja Fresh in Chantilly. Service is generally fast and the orders are correct, and this store is so much easier to get in and out of than the one in Fair Lakes. I love their kids’ options here: cheese quesadilla, rice, applesauce and milk for $ 5. Three stars to Bajas everywhere because they don’t offer mobile coupons. We get printed coupons ALLTHETIME in the mail, but they’d be so much more useful(and use a ton less paper/postage) if they’d deliver them via email or text.

Man do I miss Baja Fresh. Sadly they don’t have one in Richmond area. So when I go to NOVA this is my to go place for Mexican. Of course there is better Mexican restaurants however as far as cheap and fast Mexican food this is good. I usually get their quesadilla with steak or chicken. Their steak is always flavorful and tender, and same with the chicken. And now I’m a girl who loves cheese and Baja Fresh’s quesadilla is always cheesy and perfectly melted. Just thinking about it makes me drool. Also their tacos are on point. They now have two styles of Americano or Baja. Americano style is flour tortilla with tomatoes and Baja is corn tortilla with cilantro and onions. Both are equally delish, but I prefer the Americano just because in not a big fan of corn. Now you can get the steak, chicken, pork or shrimp. I suggest the shrimp. Their shrimp is just so tasty! And it’s never too fishy either. Overall I love this place. They always give you chips with your meal and they have a wide variety of salsa as well. If you love spicy get the red sauce, it’s so good and perfect kind of spicy.

This was my first time ever dining at a Baja Fresh location. Even though it was located in a strip mall, this restaurant is not to be passed up, especially for fans of fresh tacos and burritos. The ingredients are plentiful, and you can tell how ripe all the vegetables are by their vibrant colors and flavorful crunch. My suggestion? Get the bowl with your choice of meat and beans. I had the wahoo; A+.

Wife and I love this place. The Baja Chicken Chipotle salad is fantastic and my wife always gets the veggie Burrito. It is clean inside and the servers and cooks are really nice. The whole eating experience is excellent. We’ve been going here for the past several years and never had anything but super great meals. They keep the salsa and dip area stocked and it’s always fresh and clean. For the price it is very good food.

I did feel like eating something different and fresh, and Baja Fresh didn’t disappoint, the thing is since I’m very familiar with Latino foods it is not my first choice for Tex-mex. In any case it is always a varied menu, first quality food, c;clean and friendly service, and the prices are very reasonable.

Yeah… no. The meat is chronically overcooked, salsas are bland, though the service is friendly. Baja Fresh needs a freshening up. Though I’ve been here 3 – 4 times, I won’t be revisiting. The taste just doesn’t meet expectations. The quality of the beef cuts used are stew-grade, or so they seemed. Again, friendly staff, clean restaurant, and LISTEN — I KNOWTHERE’S A DEARTHOFMEXICAN here in NoVA, but this ain’t the answer.

Decent enough. I am not a fan at all of fast food and I just cannot stomach putting Taco Bell in my body. So if we are craving«quick» mexican, this is where we usually stop. I love the fact that it takes a little while… that means they are actually cooking it people!!! Seriously, I don’t want my taco in 90 seconds. I want my taco to be fresh and flavorful. My little guy loves the quesadilla. Although after looking at the nutritional information and seeing that a full sized cheese dilla contains 1200 calories(GASP!) only a kid can eat that lol. Healthy, fresh and it works for us.

Slllllllllllooowwwwwwwwwwwwww… why does it take sooo long here? Okay anyways, my recent experience I got the shrimp burrito with rice, guac and sour cream. There was NO flavor to the shrimp and they were hard/overcooked… disappointing. I will not try shrimp again there. They have good salsas, taquitos and rice.

Yummy! Way better than Taco Bell, tastier and more variety in the menu than Chipotle, but still super fast. Just what this chica looks for in Mexican food. I’m only half, so that’s really all I expect of my food! ;) The fish tacos are tasty, queso fundido is good, salsa bar is always great. Its a bit tough to eat healthy here, but the Baja ensalada is really filling and won’t leave you feeling as though you ate a week of calories in one meal. Take a pass on the burritos, they’re not nearly as good as some of the other offerings.

Being from California, I have high expectations for Mexican food. I didn’t patronize Baja Fresh on the west coast because there are way better options but, in Virginia, I’ll take what I can get. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was as good as it was. Despite coming in at closing time, everything was fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and the location was clean. It’s not AUTHENTIC Mexican, but it’s not Taco bell either. It’s somewhere in the cozy space between native & gringo, a perfect balance for me. I’m happy with my summer shrimp tacos & I’ll be back for more. :)

I have been at this place a few times. I like the food and the hot sauce bar that they have. For a fast food style Mexican food I think it’s good. I will go there again. Price is reasonable.

I can’t believe I have the honour of doing the 1st review for this place. Oh yeah, I can, it’s me too mex, you only go here when you need to get some food in ya belly. The only thing that makes this place different is the variety of fresh self-serve salsa. One star up from Taco Bell without the chihuahua, no lo tengo baja.
