Baldino’s Lock & Key

We had a contractor nightmare to say the least and we needed someone to change our locks right away. I called and they had someone out that same day. It is a little pricey but we paid for piece of mind and they delivered. Very prompt and efficient service. Chris (Chantilly) called to to tell us he was on his way. I let him know our 14 month old was sleeping and he was very respectful. Chris was very friendly and knew what he was going. We had 7 cores rekeyed in about and hour. They even make keys on site. Would recommend to anyone!

We lost the keys to our fireproof safe and needed it opened. I took it to their Chantilly location and walked out 5 minutes later with two keys. I’ve never needed this type of service, so I don’t know how reasonable the $ 45 charge was… but it was definitely cheaper than replacing the safe and it’s contents!

They rekeyed our locks in November. In February we started having trouble with an outside door. We called them to come fix it. At times it would not open and that was the only door in or out of our building. They came, squirted a bit of lubricant, and charged $ 175 for the 5 minute visit. That is apparently their minimum charge. It was $ 99 for the visit and $ 76 for the squirt of WD-​40. Ridiculous.
Our accounting department called to talk to the manager. She says he got very snippy and mean. He claims we were quoted the price on the phone. We weren’t. We will not be using them again.

Waaaaay overpriced… 4 locks getting re-​keyed is nearly $ 300. As they proudly told me, they charge $ 175 just to turn the first screw. Much too full of themselves. In order to get a coupon, they made my Realtor mother (in her 70’s) drive 45 minutes because they wouldn’t take her first coupon over the phone or send it with the technician and she needed it for my home the next business day. They then complained to me that she took a stack of their coupons. They complain because she is promoting their business by passing out their coupons to her other Realtor friends and clients? Short sighted business people with poor attitude. I wouldn’t give these guys a dime. Don’t even consider hiring this company.

I needed to get my locks changed quickly. Someone I could no longer trust had keys to my condo. Baldino’s came out fairly quickly and was able to change out the locks — and provided me new keys for both sets of locks.
