Chantilly Collision

Just had another great experience with Pohanka Collision Center. I was rear ended (again) and this was the shop recommended by the other insurance company. Since this has happened before and I previously had a great experience, I went back. I had also recently had a deep scratch put in my car and the person didn’t both to stick around. Ryan and Kitty hooked me up. They said it would take 3 days. I dropped off on a Wednesday morning and picked up on a Friday night at 7:30 since they have very convenient hours. When they brought my car to me someone came out to go over the work with me and make sure I was happy. My car was sparkling clean inside and out. Beautiful paint job and my car is like new. The work that I had to pay for was half the price of another quote I had gotten prior. I will only take my car to Pohanka Collision Center!

I’m surprised by the negative reviews of Pohanka Collision in Chantilly. I was recently in an accident and was referred to Pohanka by the guy who hit me’s insurance. I called them to schedule an estimate and was able to get in that same day. I got an estimate and a time frame of 18 days to repair. It only took 12, which was nice. I was updated via email every time my car entered a new stage of repair; assembly, paint, etc., which was helpful. They stay open until 8 pm so picking up my car after work was no big deal, I think that’s convenient! My car looked like new and ran like it did prior to my accident. All of the parts they repaired are under warranty, so should I have an issue with them in the future I can go back to them for repair. Next time (hopefully there isn’t one) I need body work, I will return to Pohanka.
P. S. The Enterprise on-​site is super convenient if you are getting a rental!

After a small incident I took my car to have repairs done. When it was finished the car still had problems. so I went back to the shop the next day to drop my car off and again when it was returned back to me. With another problem.

I went to Pohanka Collision Center to get body work done after an accident expecting to get the same great service I get when I take my car in for regular service at Pohanka Acura. I should have run the other way. I was told I could email a copy of the estimate I received from the insurance company. Two days after I emailed a copy, no response indicating the email had been received, an email trying to schedule when I could bring the car in or even a phone call. I followed up with a phone call to find that the person was out and they couldn’t access her email and asked me to email it to her. This place has been open long enough to know a generic mailbox might be better for estimates that everyone can get to (if Pohanka Collision Centers read these comments, take this one into consideration). Let’s just say I didn’t hear from anyone after sending the estimate a second time. I had to call again. Now, I understand places get busy, but this was a little ridiculous. Finally, I go in to drop my car off and the person at the front desk is running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off making me wait 15 minutes. For some reason, the guy next to her couldn’t help me out… he clearly looked like he wasn’t doing anything. I don’t hear from the person who is assigned my car and again, I have to call on the day my car should be ready to find out it will take another week from a random person answering the phone (grrr). It takes my «person» another 4 days to call me to give me a status of my car. Finally, I get the phonecall letting me know the car is ready for pick up. I go to pick up my car and am stuck with the guy who has no idea what he is doing (training goes a long way Pohanka Collision Centers). Meanwhile, Lorena who was my person could have and should have been checking me out to make sure I was happy with the repairs to my car. Instead, she along with a number of others were just hanging out at their work stations. The best part is that I had to wait 30 minutes for the poor guy to get my car only to find out it was dirty with tape marks all over it. COME ON! I’ve been waiting for a survey call so that I can tell them how horrible this was for me, hope they take my feedback into consideration and make some major improvements in their customer service and quality control.

After my car accident, I only felt comfortable heading to the Pohanka Collision Center. My customer service with Pohanka has always been stellar and I have never complained about the work. I rest assured knowing that my car would be repaired with all Acura parts and returned to like-​new state. While I may gripe about their prices in the past, I could never complain about their effort to provide prompt, efficient customer service. While my car was being repaired, I was contacted with a status updated frequently.
Initially, they estimated it would take four weeks to repair my car. I had a rental car, I wasn’t pressed on the time frame, but I did miss my car and wanted it back sooner than later. Since it was around Christmas time when I dropped my car off, I appreciated the Christmas present of an early delivery of two weeks.
My car looked brand new when I picked it up. They gave me a mini detail and even dropped my car off to Pohanka Acura for my regular service maintenance.

I had my right door and rear bumper smashed in a accident. They fixed it and my car looked brand new. I had a problem with a sensor so I went back and they took care of me immediately and were very friendly. Kitty and Graham were great and would do business with them again.

Stay away. Far far away. They had my car for 93 days, the original estimate said 7. They kept «forgetting» to order all the parts they needed. Paint overspray on everything. Horrendous workmanship. They attempted to deliver the car back to me with huge issues each time. Good luck getting them to follow up with you or return a phone call. Worst place I have ever been to.
