Heavenly Paws Cremations

Very friendly, professional and compassionate. I knew I wanted to take my dog directly to the crematorium because after working in a vet as a teenager, I remember the refrigerators of bodies waiting for pick up and didn’t want that for my dog. I wanted to treat my girl with as much respect and love as possible. This was a difficult time to go through, but Heavenly Paws made this piece of it as easy as possible and I’m pleased with the quality of services.

When our 12 year old pitbull Monoxide suddenly passed away this past weekend, I brought him here and I am so glad I did. The people that work here are so sweet and sensitive. I was so pleased at how he was treated and the overall experience was very warming which is something we really needed. The prices were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has lost a pet and in the unfortunate event this happens again I will gladly use Heavenly Paws!

I can’t get over how well these incredible people served my family during our time of loss. When my dog Mindy passed, I personally drove her body up here because my research about cremation at the vet led me to believe I wouldn’t actually get my dog’s remains back (despite being the same price as Heavenly Paws). Heavenly Paws does individual cremations, and the team had us out in 15 minutes without any up selling or trying to take advantage of us. I have rarely been treated so well-​they saw our grief and got us in and out. I picked up my angel today in her beautiful box, with her paw print and fur clipping included for free, and I couldn’t thank them enough. Highly recommend: fair prices and excellent service. I had never needed this type of service before so wasn’t sure what to expect. The experience in using Heavenly Paws was excellent. Jim whom I dealt with was very nice and understands the bond between a pet and its owner and how hard it is to say goodby. Should you need this type of service in the future I highly recommend them.

I’m very sad to be posting this review, but very happy with the quality of service I received. When I came home from work and found my kitty had passed away, I called Heavenly Paws. A lady answered the phone (I believe she’s the same one mentioned in one of the other reviews) and, even though it was over an hour past their closing time, she agreed to wait for me to drive out there to drop my baby off. She was very kind and understanding. She clearly knows the bond her clients have with the animals they bring in. Even though it was late, she told me to take as much time as I needed. When it came time to take my kitty away to the back room, she was very gentle with her. The cost of the private cremation was $ 189. (I had called my vet just before driving out there and found out they offered the exact same cremation package for $ 359, so I found this price to be very reasonable.)
They then delivered her ashes to me at work the very next day, along with a certificate of cremation, ink paw prints, a fur clipping, and the blanket I had brought her in with — all in a green canvas tote bag. The ashes were in a white cardboard box inside a velvet drawstring bag with a lovely inscription on it. All of this was included in the price. Nothing was extra. It was all very official-​looking and professional. A few days later (i.e. today), I got a card from them in the mail, thanking me for giving them the opportunity to serve me during such a difficult time, signed by the president.
I imagine it must be a bummer of a job working there, so I really appreciate all their employees’ professionalism. I also appreciate how expediently everything was handled. They made a very sad day in my life a little bit easier. I don’t like thinking about other people needing to use this service, but the sad reality is a lot of people probably will, and I highly recommend Heavenly Paws for it.

I would suggest you do not arrive as soon as they open. The lady who works the front was not there yet and we were greeted by a young man who must work in the back. This man was not compassionate at all — no «I’m sorry for your loss», etc., just asked what we wanted and how we wanted to pay. We left feeling awful at the way he handled us. Our phone call and pickup was with the lady in the front and I wish we had dropped off when she was there — she would have helped a difficult time be more bearable. I would offer the suggestion to the company that if people arrive before the lady is there, just have them sit in the waiting room vs. having the other guy meet with people.. Believe me, I’d have been much less upset by the experience if I had met with her instead.

Not something to be happy to post about, but I was very impressed with our experience.
Our vet recommended this place when our husky passed away. When we picked up her ashes, they were neatly bagged, boxed and placed in a velvet bag with the inscription «Until we meet again at Rainbow Bridge.» We also received inked paw prints, clippings of her fur and a sweet card with a paper butterfly infused with wildflower seeds to plant in memoriam.
Cremation costs $ 189, everything else mentioned was included. They have urns and various keepsakes also available. Kara was a pleasure to work with, very patient and understanding.
