Specialties
We have a wide array of gently used furniture, household items, clothing, books and media. We sell items at our store to support our nonprofit mission of providing material goods to those in need. All of our bedding and upholstered furniture has been sanitized in accordance to government standards.
Referrals are given through the county and churches, and we work with other nonprofits to extend our distribution. We regularly give clothing to the Lamb Center, serving the homeless in Fairfax City, clothing and TV sets to Art for Humanity, serving the poor in Honduras. We’ve helped people transition from homelessness or institutionalized settings by proving beds and furniture.
All this is supported through sales and donations. Thanks for your support!
History
Established in 2012.
The Pender Outreach Center, a mission of the Pender United Methodist Church, was the predecessor of Pender Regift Thrift Store, and still operates for donations and distributions. We’ve outgrew the Outreach Center, and so rented this 5,000 sq ft commercial space to continue our operations.
