Rosy’s Ultimate Salon

I bought a groupon for a highlight and haircut. Rosy did a wonderful job highlighting my hair and giving me a nice face framing cut. I highly recommend her salon. I will definitely be back in the future for another highlight and haircut

Went to Rosy’s today for the first time and was greeted very warmly. The salon is staffed by friendly smiling people. Just a very nice vibe. They have a young man stylist that does the latest styles on the young men and he was very busy and all were looking like they were having a fun time.
Rosy and another stylist (Yansi?) gave me a foil highlight, toner, cut and style. I was a bit apprehensive as I thought it would not turn out blonde enough, but it turned out great! The cut and style was the best I had had in a long time.
Also had waxing done and Rosy was extra careful with me as I have sensitive skin. Was very pleased with the results.
I was looking for a new salon as my former stylist retired, and I have found my new «happy hair place» at Rosy’s.

LOVE LOVE! Got a groupon because I wanted to try a salon near me without having to commit and sure enough I fell in love and decided to commit to Rosy’s! First I was greeted by the lovely owner who speak English and spanish! My groupon was for full highlight, cut and style. I got a great hair wash, and then I picked a nice caramel brown color and got a cap placed and she started to work. Total time took about an hour! Great great! So excited to have found my salon. If you explain clearly what you want and tell her your past hair issues they can work and fix it for you.

I want to start by saying I WISH I woulda read the reviews before I went. Okay so I bought the groupon and picked 1 application of haircolor and haircut. I get there I take my bun out and the Persian girl at the front says 20 dollars extra ok. I say okay then I tell them I want burgundy not too light I want my hair cut in layers rosy says ok. then her and another girl immediately tag team me and start putting color in my hair. I have dark brown hair and it is longer then my bra strap, this process doesnt take long with the both of them. They then put a lastic capon my head and sit me under the dry for .I don’t know less then 30 min. at this point I was the only person in the shop and it was pouring down rain. the girl does a good job in washing my hair out it felt clean and actually was sqeaking. At this point I ask about an eye brow wax (BIG MISTAKE) the Persian girls takes me to the back and waxes my eyes brows everything feels okay, I have a scar through my right eye brow, so i repeated what ive been saying for 15 years or so «I have a scar they are never even» She then shows me her scar and says don’t worry. she even gave me a mirror and I glanced at it more worried about my scared eye I guess because at the time I didn’t realize the monstrosity of my left eye. I go back Rosy then cuts my very curly hair in layers wet and curly… it took her about 15 minutes to do so. the ending result look like she grabbed my top layer of hair and cut it straight across… anyways they blow dry and flat iron my hair. Im mixed so my hair get really frizzy I told the girl at least 2 xs to put some oil or cream in my hair and it will make the process a lot easier she didn’t listen and seemed irritated that I gave her advice. during this time I started t realize that only my roots were burgundy. very strange because its probably been over 3 years since I put color in my hair. then random employees would come over to look and they would say «oh it looks so pretty» «you will see it better in the light» «so nice» and so on. i mean hey it even convinced me at the time… so Im finished after more then 2 hours then it was pouring out im ready to go home they charge 39 for the extra long hair the eyebrow and lip wax and I add a 25 tip. the whole time rosy is over there looking like a sour patch kid like what I gave her wasn’t enough. the Persian girl says write on the receipt who gets what of the tip. Um excuse me? I said I don’t know you work that out. to me the girl did more work then rosy but hey I don’t know how it works inside a salon. Anyways I get in the car take a selfie and notice my left eyebrow was straight across ALMOST a straight friggin line while my scarred eyebrow was nicely arched. I mean all she had to do was clean it up… I get home and a couple hours my boyfriend comes and is like I thought you said your getting your hair dyed. I show him and he says they ripped you off you could’ve done a better job. I made a mental note to call the next day unfortunately I came down with some sort of 48 hour bug, that brings us to today I call and complain about my eye brow she said to come in and they will fix it. I plan to complain about my hair once I get there in person. WISH ME LUCK… save your money ladies

I got the groupon spa package for two and brought my mom. The groupon covered a manicure, pedicure, facial and massage. We were greeted and only had to wait a minute or two before our session started.
I started with the pedi/​mani. Yansi did my nails and she did a really thorough and good job. She was very friendly and would try to make some friendly conversation. My only complaint is that some of my finger nail polish was not perfect, but it still looked good.
Next I had my massage with Zara. She put on some calming music and started it with a peppermint smell. She used hot towels and stones throughout which was really nice and did an amazing job! I had a knot in my back and she fixed it for me. She used a lot of oils and asked before massaging my head. She would check about pressure and make sure it was feeling good. She would spray different smells throughout the massage as well.
Zara also did my facial. It was my first facial ever and she did a great job. She made sure it did not hurt and checked my skin type before applying anything. I felt super refreshed after this visit and would love to go back for the same package again!

She took 4 hours to perm/​cut my hair. It was not very well done and they charged me more than they initially said they would. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Yeah. They dont deserve even a zero star rating.
People. it is inexpensive, but your hair will look worse leaving this place than when you entered it.
I totally agree with Ashley R. I had a similar experience. I bought the groupon for full highlights, deep treatment, cut and dry. On arrival, the salon had no other customers, during the weekend.
I have dark brunnete fairly healthy hair, couple inches past my shoulders. I looked up this salons FB page and showed a picture of burgundy highlights they seemed to have done for a customer. They looked at it and nodded and said they would charge extra for Long hair.
A person who didnt seem very experienced with hair started the process and the heat treatment etc. There was no conditioning, just some shampoo and after the shampoo 2 ladies who work there came over and peer at my hair and said. OH THEY CAME OUT SOO BEAUTIFUL. (who were you fooling ladies? This was the moment my heart sank, It was almost like they were willing me to like the highlights).
Then I got a towel VIGOROUSLY rubbed against my hair and scalp. (Again a warning sign.)
And then I walk to the drying station and the lady asks” Do you want me to dry it?” Whaaat?
Then I look at my hair. I see my dark hair and what seems to be big chunks of white bleached hair. Im a SKUNK!
And the lady coolly goes about trying to dry my hair. Am I the only one seeing this???
At this point I have to stop her and point out that she turned me into a Skunk. And pull up the color I wanted on my phone.
She was very reluctant to accept this, but I couldn’t walk out of there looking like that!
So back I go through the same process– toner-​shampoo-​Vigorous rubbing. This time i have some peices of blond and mostly bleached white highlights.
Iam hysterical and close to tears at this point. I again show her the picture and she NOW tells me this client got her hair colored and not highlights. Why was she telling me this now?
I went through the same process a THIRD time. This time the lady washed my hair muttering under her breath with a vengence. And I was told the color was not happening coz «your hair is too black.» What!
The drying process was very painfull and long. I had 3 colors of highlights, white+blond+orange.
I was too afraid to get a haircut at the end of this ordeal. And to add insult to injury. I had to pay EXTRA for long hair and, I was told «NOW YOU GOT RIGHT COLOR, DONT GIVE BAD REVIEW OK?»
3.5 hours later, my hair felt and looked terrible. I hated myself for having gone into such an unprofessional place. I cried all the way home and then some. I will never ever put myself through that again. Nor would I recommend it to my worst enimies:(

This is long. so long story short, they COMPLETELY ruined my hair and charged me an extra $ 40 to do so!
I arrive with a groupon for full highlights, deep conditioning treatment, cut and dry.
I come in with maybe an inch or two past my shoulder length hair, dirty blonde. I asked for my hair to just be a little
blonder as it’s about to be summer.
Two people immediately start adding color to my hair. I was a little worried because they never asked where my part was, etc. but I figured they’re professionals and they know what they’re doing. WRONG. Once they started it was going to be an extra $ 40 for having «long hair»… I’ve paid $ 10 extra but $ 40???
After sitting under the heater, she washes my hair. I was expecting conditioner, some sort of conditioning treatment. NOTHING. Literally just shampoo.
She takes me back to the seat and she can barely get a brush through my hair. She asked if I wanted a cut, and I said just trim a little off the ends. She cuts straight across and she cuts WAY more than a trim. Is say 2 – 3 inches.
Then she asks if I want my hair dried. um. duh?
She could BARELY get a brush through my hair. I have a thick scalp and this is the first time it’s ever legit hurt to have my hair brushed. I have no idea how she couldn’t tell because she was practically yanking me out of the chair. I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating but I’m not, I had to put my feet on the ground to not fall over.
Once I’m tried, I finally see why she couldn’t brush it; they bleached my hair. My highlights were just… bleach. That’s it. And not even done right, some strips were huge and some were tiny and it looks HORRIBLE.
Then, after two and a half hours of torture, I just wanted my eyebrows waxed and to get out of there. The lady who was going to do it said she needed 5 minutes. I didn’t want to wait as I’d been there for 2.5 hours so I said never mind. The manager tried to take me back anyways and said don’t worry about it, but the lady yelled «UGH SHE CANT WAIT 5 MINUTES».
Worst haircut of my entire life. Seriously, hair cuttery is better and that says a lot. I cried in the car!!! I will never be back and I strongly recommend NO ONE go there!!! Now I have to spend extra money getting this fixed.

My family and I always have a good experience at Rosy’s salon. Rosy does a great job with my color and haircut, Erick cuts my husband and my son’s hair and Sara does an awesome job with eyebrow threading.

Got a coupon from groupon and went to try this salon.
The staff was friendly and very professional.
Rossy was very helpful in suggesting the hair colors which will look good. She did a mind blowing job as well. Very nice highlight and hair cut.
I had special needs and they took care of that. I cover my head so Rossy took me to a room and did my highlight, cutting and blowdry there. When I prayed they turned the music off.
